RWBY: Fireborn

The legend falls.

"You are quite peculiar mortal. You've done some amazing things. Even I, a god, find quite impressive." A voice resounds throughout Shabh's head. Shocking the man's very soul.

'Ww-what?!?" Shabh knew he was dead, he felt the pain and then nothing. There should be nothing after death. Shouldn't there?

"Your confusion is quite normal. After all, the instant a person dies, their soul is purified, cleaned if you will, and sent to be reincarnated in their world with no repercussions. I stopped that. I wished to speak with you after all. Now then, lets meet, shall we?"

Shabh felt a pull on his very soul before he was dragged form his body. He watch as he ascended up, up from the airfield at a speed that would kill anyone. And a short while later, light blinded him, then he was slammed into a chair. As the chair skidded back and came to a stop in front of... a woman drinking tea? Shabh looked around, all he could see was clouds and golden colored sky. He was in front of a woman, who sat at a simple, yet elegant table. Everything seem to be sitting on a black stone floor that had a ever changing star pattern that shown.

"May I ask what are you doing here, young soul?" the woman asked. She wore a simple rich earthly colored toga that left her right shoulder b.a.r.e. A gold broach was pined on the strap that crossed over her left shoulder in the shape of a tree with is roots shown. Her hair was the most eye drawing. As Shabh watched, the woman's hair went through a kaleidoscope of all earthly colors at a leisurely pace. She had motherly looks and aura, all together, she was someone Shabh felt calmness towards.

"Sorry I was-" Shabh started but was interrupted by another figure on a chair appearing. His figure could only be described as a king or a monarch with looks to match. He even gave of a kingly aura, that seemed to suppress everything. He even has king-like clothes. The air around him seem to glow.

"I would also like to know," the king-like figure spoke in a deep, booming voice, "Hello, Terra."

"Regno, your here to. So that means you don't know ether. Must be Statera than, that this wondering soul is here, instead of the cycle of rebirth." Terra mused.

"You call and I shall appear!" A another man came down from above on golden string, reminiscent of a certain spider. "I called him here due to him changing a world by himself, with no help." The man said the man as he landed on the table in front of Rengo and Terra. Shabh could only see his back. The man known as Statera could be seen wearing a rose red-gold and blue diamond colored Gothic tailcoat, black tapered black dress pants, and had a white-gold top-hat and white gloves. Shabh couldn't see his face.

"He's a loon." Shabh said, not realizing it. Statera went rigid. Terra, who was drinking her tea, held a hand to her mouth and turned her head as she was visibly shaking. Regno just had a sh** eating grin on his face as he was using his entire body to laugh.

"Well, he is... eccentric. So your not wrong in that regard." Terra said after calming down. "Anyway, why did you bring this soul here, Statera?"

Statera just sighed. As he turned around, Shabh could finally see his face. Statera had a mask that depicted the comedy/tragedy faces, were one half was tragedy, while the other half was comedy. Statera's eyes could be seen through the eye sockets of the mask. His irises were gold, a trait that he shared with both Terra and Regno.

"Thank you for that," Statera said as he walk behind Shabh and put his hand on Shabh's shoulders. " This soul here did something that will shock you both." Terra and Regno just looked at him confused. "He permanently balanced his home world so that no gods can change it. Ever."

"Impossible. Only a god can do that." Regno said as Terra just looked at Shabh. "Even if he did, It would only last a cycle, no more or less." Regno just stared at Statera.

"Try it yourself and you will see." Statera snapped his fingers and a gold hologram-like globe appeared in front of Regno. Terra watched as Regno poked the globe here and there. "Now then," Statera walked in front of Shabh," you did something even us gods have a very hard time doing, Shabh or do you prefer you actual name?" Statera asked.

"From what I've gathered, I'm just a soul now. Please just call me what ever you want. And sorry about calling you a loon, i didn't mean to." Shabh said and apologized.

"Apology accepted and I'll call you 'fool' than." He said with a smile. "Now than, I shall introduce you to my colleges," Statera snapped his fingers and Shabh shot forward to the table and stopped perfectly seated at it. Statera appeared next to him a second later. Terra turned and looked at them as they arrived with a warm smile. "Now lets see, the lovely woman in front of you is Terra," she nodded her head with a small smile on her face, "and the man who is messing with that gold ball is Regno." Regno completely ignored them and continued taping away at the globe. "And I am, Statera, the one who brought you here." Statera stood and did a dramatic bow than sat back down.

"It's a p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e to meet you all, I've been called many things but, my name is-was Logan Barrett. Feel free to call me what you like." Shabh reveled his name. Terra thanked him and leaned forward got to business.

"From what I can tell, the reason you were brought here is due to your home world." Terra explained. "What you did was bringing it to an everlasting peace. A very hard thing to do even for a god, if it only lasts a few cycles." She started.

"A planet's life cycle, Logan." Statera elaborated.

"Yes, but for it to be everlasting, it should take hundreds of gods, thousands of cycles on one planet alone for it to happen. What you did is something every god wishes for." Terra continued. "From what I could see form the globe of your home planet is astounding. You changed everything yourself, by yourself. Thanks to you, there is no violence, sickness, or anything else on that planet for the peace to be destroyed." Terra praised.

Regno finally came away from the globe sighing as he was pinching the bridge of his nose. "Whatever you did, I cannot undo. I even sent a avatar with godly power there and nothing happen that would destroy its peace. Thousands of cycles and nothing could destroy it." Regno said as he looked directly at Logan. "I say, you deserve a reward, what you have done is worthy for one from gods themselves."

Terra and Statera both agreed. They too believed, Logan deserves one. Statera spoke up, "How about we send him to a world were he can live his life the way he wants?" The other two gods look at him with questioning looks. "He's been through quite a lot already, haven't you Logan?" Statera asked Logan.

"I live with my parents until I was 8, I was kidnapped... and forced to become a child soldier till i died. You can send me were ever you want, as long as I can spend time with those I care about, I don't care. To me, there is nothing worse than losing those you care about. All I ask is that you wipe my memories before and after I came here, please." Logan said while bowing his head.

Regno looked at Statera, "I agree that we should, I have already looked through his life. What he said is true, his life was full of hardsh.i.p.s. We should send him to another world, with some gifts to show our gratitude. All in favor?"

Both the other gods agreed. "Then I shall give you a body, a strong and capable body, and a unbreakable will." Regno started.

"I shall gift you the ability to use the elements to your advantage, as well as a heart as strong as steel and as pure as gold!" Terra continued with a smile and gusto.

"I shall end it off then! You have been give a body fitting your accomplishments! I shall gift you a mind that is befitting your new body! I shall also send you to your new home! May you bring peace to it as well! And may we meet again young fool!" Statera finished with a smile that Logan returned.

"Thank you." Logan said as he started to disappear. "I pray to meet you again after I've grown old and died!" His voice echoed as he vanish.
