RWBY: Fireborn

A/N I have to admit, I have wrote myself into a dead-end by rookie mistake. Hence why this took WAY longer then needed to write. Please forgive my rookie mistake. And the fact I missed spelled Glynda's name. Thank you.

Glynda rushed to Logan, while Ozpin rushed to the teams of RWBY and JNPR. As Ozpin arrived, he demanded to know what had occurred. While they were explaining what had happened, Logan's voice rang out with laughter. As their heads turned towards Logan's and Glynda's direction, they could see him limping over to them followed by Glynda trying to help him and tell him off at the same time. While Auren was berating him from the inside of his mind.

{Auren} "I TOLD YOU THAT WAS A BAD IDEA! WHY DON'T YOU LISTEN!"

{Logan} "I had to, this was the easiest way to talk with Ozpin, and the fastest. How else was I supposed to without alerting them. Trust me, this was the best way we have. They could be anywhere and have eyes as well."

Everyone quickly gathered around Logan as he walked back over to them. While most were mainly worried about him, Ruby, Yang, and Ozpin were openly unconcerned about it. Glynda keep berating Logan for not thinking the test through and he got what he deserved. Once Logan managed to calm everyone down and got Glynda to take a break from her berating, he explained what his thought process was. And once he was finished, he was suddenly battered with questions and a few complaints..

[Nora] "THAT WAS AWESOME! LET ME DO IT NEXT TIME!"

[Pyhrra] "That was very dangerous. Why didn't you use your aura?"

[Ren] "What did you mean about aura having untapped potential?"

[Glynda] "Young man, next time you try something like this, please inform a teacher beforehand."

[Jaune] "I didn't know I had that kind of power, and I hardly felt drained after using it. But why did it have that much power? And What about my shield?"

[Blake] "You okay? Need any help?"

[Weiss] "Are you crazy!?"

[Logan] "Okay, I'll answer in order asked. Nora, no as I don't have any idea of what could happen without any more data. Pyhrra, I have a disability that makes it hard for me to constantly have a shield of aura around me at all times. I can still use aura, but I have trouble keeping one around me when I fight, hence the armor, and it's not for decoration. Ren, we may have aura but there is so much unknown potential and knowledge about it. There may be things we have no idea we can do, hence the untapped potential. Professor Goodwitch, next time I will inform one before I conduct anymore tests like this. And Jaune, I said that you have more then me, so it's not surprising. The reason you had so much power was because you naturally enhanced your strength without you realizing it. And for your shield, when I can set up my workshop I will repair and enhance it for you as well as any upgrades you may want."

As Logan answered their questions, he was fixing his arm in front of them. Logan had raised a thick and wide pillar that came up and encased his upper arm. Grabbing his wrist, he popped his elbow back into place with a snap, jolting them as they watched. As he raised a second that encased his forearm, he took out two bandages from his P.A.K., wrapping one tightly around his elbow. The other, he used as a makeshift sling for his arm. Once he was finished, he looked at Blake and Weiss.

[Logan] "As for you, Blake, no I'm used to fixing myself and treating my injuries. Besides, it's only dislocated, nothing major. Weiss, I am very much sane. I honestly didn't mean to have this happen. I should be fine in few hours or so."

As Logan talked, he flashed Ozpin a look. Catching his thought process, Ozpin intervened, and halted any further questions. Glynda followed after with the two's train of thought with ease.

[Ozpin] "As much as I wish to scold you, I will save it for now. Run along or you'll be late for class. Please let your teacher now that I have taken Mr Tenebris for a chat."

Ozpin pushed the two teams along and started guiding Logan away from them. Glynda gave the two teams a curt nod and walked off after the two of them. As they walked, the three had an unspoken agreement to wait to speak until they were elsewhere. Not one sound was heard from them, the sound of two loud foot-steps made the third quiet steps almost unheard. As they reached an elevator, they entered and ascended up. As the doors opened up into a large circular office inside the school's giant clock tower. As the trio stepped out, Ozpin walked behind the desk and sat, Glynda stood beside him and Logan stood in front of the desk between the two chairs. No one said anything for a while, until Ozpin broke the silence.

[Ozpin] "How long are you going to keep up this charade? I know what your capable of with your aura, and this kind of injury is only a minor annoyance for you."

Logan just shrugged. Soon he had removed his makeshift sling and bandage from his arm, and suddenly started shaking his arms and legs. As he did so, sounds of popping and cracking could be heard from his figure. Logan finished by twisting from side to side, popping his vertebra in his back. Glynda had a disgusted look on her face, while Ozpin merely had a amused look.

[Logan] "*Sigh* Sorry, I had to make it look convincing. I don't know who, but someone is keeping a watch on me. Whoever they are, I can't get a sight of them. Plus, I know they're targeting me, most likely for my armor."

[Ozpin] "From what I heard about your armor, even the simplest one is highly advanced. So it's no wonder why. I suspect you had a plain to deal with whoever had been watching you in the Emerald Forest during your initiation test, am I correct?"

[Logan] "Correct, I had several plains in place of any occurrence during that time. However, with the change of the test, or rather, not having the test at all ruined most of the plains. A few I had to quickly modify and change tactics for. The main reason for that act was so I could talk to you without whoever it is listening in."

[Ozpin] "My only question is which was the act? The incident with Mr Winc.h.e.s.ter? Or the one with Mr Arc I wonder?"

[Logan] "Does it matter?"

[Ozpin] "I suppose it doesn't. Honest curiosity. Now, about that proposition I gave."

[Logan] "I accept on a few conditions. First, my workshop and lab are too dangerous to be left alone for long periods of time, I request a place I can place them were they can be watched when I'm not here. That is one I will not back down from. Second, If you wish me to teach others, I will only do it after classes have finished or weekends. These will be voluntary, not a requirement. During combat classes I am willing to hand out hints, nothing more. Third, I wish to be able to conduct my research while I'm here. Any teachers and students who wish to help are welcomed as the topics will change as I go and I will submit any findings I may uncover. If I find anything that you deem too dangerous, I will stop and lock any findings. Fourth, I have a few pets that have separation anxiety, do to various reasons. I can guarantee that they are all trained and capable to help on missions. They are able to serve as support or attacking roles with others they have excepted and trust."

[Ozpin] "I can agree with the first three, as they will be beneficial for the both of us. As for the fourth, I can understand that they have issues that need attention. But will we have to acquire food for them, or will you pay for it? What about their shelter? Are you going to build them? If you are, I request a list of what they are and their abilities, as well as any that have semblance they might have. And if a student wishes to take one on a mission, I want to know that they will not run away mid-mission or not run away. My biggest concern is that of the future of my students. And if one of them does not come back or are injured, I will not hold those who took them responsible . Are you will to take this chance? Or are you going to leave them behind?"

{Auren} "He's testing you. He wants to your limit. Shall we scare him?"

{Logan} "No, he wants to see if we're willing to leave behind those we care about. And if we are willing to let them go with out us knowing if they'll be back. He's trying to corner us. Well played."

[Logan] "I'll accept your terms. And for the list, I'll give you a quick run down of a few that I'm currently working with that aren't ready. The first one you've met, Nagini is a Armadillo Girdled Lizard, who's semblance enlarges her, gives her wings, and the ability to fly and breath fire. She's here due to her sleeping in my bag. Next is Astraeus, a snow owl who was blinded by hunters. I had found him while on a mission with Qrow. He has the ability to predict the future to a degree that enabled him to survive a month before I found him. After him is Zeus, a pedigree falcon who's grow was stunted. He is a third of their normal size and has the ability to throw lightning bolts from his wings. I had found him when he was hurt. The next one is Cinnamon, a baby cheetah abandon by it's mother after the week she was born, I don't know why or how but the zoo contacted me to help. It took all I had to save her, she is a wild and curious but loyal partner. She can move the earth in a similar way like I can. She is almost ready and currently 6 months old. After her is a unique set of twin deer. Both are albino, however, one is pure white while the other is pitch black. They are Lux and Nox, they have the ability to manipulate, the best I can tell, light and darkness to form barriers. Both are female. They're still skittish around groups of people, but will protect those they both accept. Second to last is Roxy, a brown fox that is able to give off an aura bubble that increases natural healing abilities. She found me after losing her eye. And finally, is the one Yang named, Viper."

[Glynda] "Why do I feel that one is the most dangerous one?"

[Logan] "Viper is a 6ft (182cm) long, Ball Python who can fly, ignite himself, and turn into a wheel of fire. He is wild, to say the least. Hot-headed and proud, but, he understands that he can be dangerous and he's learning. A bit, slowly I might add, but he's learning. I trust him the least to be left out with out Yang, Ruby, or I present during the missions he goes on. He'll listen to us, but not others."

[Ozpin] "Eight, that is quite a number. I trust you can handle all of them. With the help of Miss Xiao Long and Rose, if their willing. So what's your plain?"

[Logan] "I was only planning to bring only Astraeus, Zeus, and Roxy. As they are the ones who need it the most. The need to interact more with others rather then us."

[Ozpin] "I see. Rather then the eight, with the four you can manage your time better. I agree with your conditions. I will inform you later on today with the whereabouts of were you can place all of it. Anything else?"
