RWBY Re: Jaune Arc

When Jaune woke up, he heard the sounds of giggling and laughter below his floor.

Stepping out of his bed, Jaune looked around his old room and smiled, "It's been a long time since I've seen this place."

After Jaune was through reminiscing, he then headed downstairs to see his family around the living room table and enjoying their time together with his and Ruby's teams.

Seeing the thick photo album on his mother's l.a.p, Jaune could only shake his head as he heard Ruby and the rest of the girls squeal at his baby pictures, Jaune walked up behind his mother with a look of embarrassment on his face when he heard his mother say, "This is from when he was three. His sisters couldn't help but put him in a dress, I was against it a first, but after seeing how cute my Bun-Bun was, I just had to take a picture."

The girls crowded around his picture and gave out a cute, 'Awe!' as Jaune slapped his forehead.

"Really...Mom!? Really?" Jaune said making everyone jump up.

Jaune didn't even get a chance to complain before his mother turned around and hugged him, "Ma..." Jaune smiled and held his mother in a hug, "I'm okay now."

"I know, babe. You've been through a lot, I understand, just let me know if you want to talk about it, I'll be here for you." Gwen continued to hug Jaune with everything she had.

After Jaune noticed Ruby looking at him with a blushed face, Jaune smiled and said, "Sorry I slept so long, is there still any dinner left?"

Gwen pulled herself back from her son and said, "Yes, there's a plate for you in the oven, it's still warm, now, go eat before it gets cold," Gwen then turned to the family album and said, "We still have a lot to cover."

Jaune gave his mom a kiss on the top of her head as he said, "I really missed you."

His mom choked back her tears, she would not let Jaune ruin this nice evening, even if it was out of kindness, Jaune turned to Ruby and she stared right back at him, the two suddenly blushed and Jaune tried to speak with fumbling over his own words, "Um...so...I...g.g...guess you know now right?"

Ruby nodded her head, Gwen saw that Yang had pulled out her Scroll sometime ago to take pictures, however, now, she was recording, Gwen quickly scooched over to Yang and said, "You recording?"

Yang grinned, "Yep, I have lots of good stuff, Jaune making googly eyes, them the moment they agreed to a date, Ruby and Jaune's embarrassed looks."

"Here's my number, send me everything," Gwen gave a mischievous smile, Yang gave an approving thumbs up as she took down her number.

Gwen shifted her gaze over to Pyrrha's expression and smiled, "Ohh! Oh, poor girl, now why didn't my son mention this in his little comic."

Gwen smiled at Yang and said, "I think you guys are going to fit in around here."

Jaune noticed Ruby stand up and follow him to the kitchen, he looked at the meal his mother cooked and saw that his plate was in the oven like his mother said, after taking out the meal which consisted of a turkey leg, mashed potatoes, green beans, and salad.

Ruby took a seat across from him and waited for Jaune to finish eating, after taking a few bites of his mothers cooking, a tear rolled down his face as he started to quickly devour everything in sight.

Ruby chuckled as she saw his lack of table manners, he finished eating a piece of homemade bread and drank a cup of water before he put his plate down, Phew! Mom's cooking is still the best."

"I helped," Ruby said with a bit of blush on her face.

"You made the bread right," Jaune said with a grin.

"How did you know!?" Ruby jumped up, "I mean...was it bad or something?"

Jaune smiled, "No, I love it, it's just, I know my mom's bread tastes different, I guessing she taught you."

Ruby twirled her finger around one another, "She said since I had a talent for cookies, I should just think of bread as another type of cookie that needs baking."

Ruby nodded her head, "Don't laugh."

"I can't help it, its kind of cute," Jaune continued to laugh.

Ruby face blushed up, she pulled her hood over her head and said, "So, we became, a..."

"Happily married couple, yes, and I don't regret a single second of it," Jaune said as he watched Ruby's embarrassed expression.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Ruby said with a serious expression, "Did you think I wouldn't believe you?"

Jaune shook his head, "No, no, no, it wasn't that!"

"Then why did you tell Yang and not me!?" Ruby's cheeks puffed up.

Jaune smiled as he placed his hand on her cheek, "You really are my Ruby," He gave her a quick kiss to her forehead and said, "Ruby, I didn't tell you, because I can't tell the woman I love, that you love me. I love Ruby Rose, and I know, Ruby Rose loves me, but I couldn't force anything, I had to let our relationship develop as naturally as I could."

"So you've been using future information about me to steal my heart?" Ruby's red face managed to show a hint of suspicion.

"Not yet." Ruby still had a bright face that seemed to show a different expression to what she was saying.

"Yet?" Jaune smiled as he caused Ruby to retreat further into her cloak, "My little rose, why do you hide your beautiful face. Your knight wishes to gaze upon your wondrous eyes."

For a second only ruby's eyes and nose were visible through Ruby's hood.

Jaune picked her up and held her bridal style, "I love you, Ruby Rose, how do you feel about me?"

Ruby felt happy, happier than she ever was before, the only thing that came close to the feeling she was experiencing, was the warmth of her own mother's embrace.

Ruby let her hood go and showed her cheery red face, "Jaune Arc, I love you too."

Ruby leaned forward and bravely kissed him on the lips, Jaune smiled and held her close and enjoyed her embrace.

"Ahem!" The sound of Lance coughing caused the two to jump, "It's not that I don't wish to experience being a grandfather, but could you two wait a couple of years?"

Jaune smiled and helped the embarrassed Ruby down, "I'm...sorry!" Ruby said as Gwen appeared from behind Lance and slapped him with a slipper and shouted, "Damn it, Lance, why did you have to go and ruin things?!"

Ruby and Jaune both turned redder than red, "You..." Jaune marched over to the hallway to see his sisters, Pyrrha, Nora, and Ren hunched together, just out of vision from the kitchen line of sight.

"You too Ren?" Jaune said shaking his head.

"Sorry, but, it seemed interesting," Ren shamelessly admitted.

"Well, get any good ones!" Jaune said while tapping his foot, "No seriously, send me everything."

"Jaune!" Ruby shouted.

His sisters giggled as Jaune received copies of everything they took of them, he even got Yang's collection which surprised Jaune, "Are you sure you're not a stalker? This is when we went on a date!"

Yang tilted her head with an innocent expression, "What, I have people!"

"You have people?" Jaune tilted his head.

Yang grinned, "Yep, people..."

Jaune manipulated his Aura to create a fake c.o.c.kroach to jump at Pyrrha, her face turned pale as she yelled and jumped into Rouge's arms, as she screamed, Jaune grabbed everyone's Scrolls and placed them on Pyrrha as she created a local EMP Burst that cleared out all their data.

"Jaune!" His sisters dog-piled him, "You little!"

"I can't believe you did that!"

Jaune laughed and said, "Victory is mine!"

"Yeah but you're going to lose the war!" Rouge and Saphron pulled his legs into a ground lock, Clair and Saphir locked his arms, while Violet sat on his c.h.e.s.t, and Ash loomed over his face with her Scroll tapping his forehead.

"We had some important stuff, and you went and destroyed it all, now tell me little brother, what should be your punishment?" Ash continued to slap his forehead with her Scroll.

"I know you guys keep back-ups," Jaune said as he started to use his Aura and lift himself up, "Oh no you don't!" Rouge shouted as they all used their Aura to suppress him.

"Wow! Do they all have so this much Aura!?" Yang asked holding her now erased Scroll.

"Yes, all these little hellions have ample amounts of energy, they were quite the hand full raising," Gwen said shaking her head.

Flexing his muscles, Jaune amplified his unnatural strength and started to pull his arms up with his sisters still attached to them, grabbing the back of Violets shirt, Jaune pulled her up by the scruff of the neck like a lost kitten, and used all his strength to grab Ash in a similar manner as he stood up.

"Wow!" Joan stared with surprise, "Is this the effect of what you call leveling up?"

Jaune grinned, "Yes, more or less, better base, better amplification."

After putting them down, Jaune smiled and said, "Dad, I want to take this test before the Vytal Tournament."

Everyone froze, Jaune looked him dead in the eye and said, "Don't get me wrong, I'm not intending to take it before I'm prepared, I'll level grind and keep working out, not to mention, you've seen me fight with Grimm's Bane and Save the Queen."

"You don't have your armor yet." Lance let out a sigh.

Ruby looked worried for Jaune, but after realizing what was coming their way, they all needed to get stronger, this was the whole reason they came on this trip.

She walked up to Jaune and placed her hand on his wrist, "Are you sure, don't you want to wait until your back up to full strength?"

Jaune laughed as he shook his sisters loose, "I will, I think I can figure out how to train Aura; if I can pull this off, there's no telling how strong I will become before the Vytal Tournament, and if this inheritance can make me even stronger, then I have to take this chance."

Joan smiled as she placed her hand on Jaune's back, "You're a real hero now Jaune, your ancestor would be proud."

Lance's shoulders still cringed at the thought of his son facing off against that monstrosity, he then took Jaune by his shoulder and said, "Follow me."

Gwen knew they wanted some alone time together so she helped herd everyone into the living room, Jaune turned to his father and followed him outside.

They arrived at a small training ground, there were some wooden dummies in the shape of Grimm and people, weight lifting gear, and just enough space for two people to spar, all of this was under a nice western-style wooden canopy.

Jaune looked at the wooden swords on the rack and saw his father pick one up and tossed another to him.

Jaune frowned, "We gonna fight?"

"Show me how strong you are currently," Lance replied.
