RWBY: The Phantom Of Remnant

Chapter 46 - Weiss and Winter's Surprise!

The sun slowly rose above Atlas, signifying the start of another day as Magna silently faced a small problem. Winter was still asleep as she cutely clung to his arm while Weiss was surprising curled up on his c.h.e.s.t.

What made this a problem was the fact that both girls were drooling on him. Magna couldn't see Whitley so he assume he left him to 'suffer'.

Softly nudging Weiss, Magna whispered in her ear, "Weiss… it's morning… wake up…"

His whispers went ignored as Weiss slowly put her hand over his mouth as she cutely yawned. Magna resisted the urge to roll his eyes as he tried to shake his arm from Winter's grasp.

This, however, didn't end well as she ended up clutching his arm even harder as she softly bit his shoulder while muttering something about steak.

A long sigh escaped his lips when he suddenly remembered how he could become intangible. He mentally face palmed as he became intangible and flew out of bed

As he landed, he almost burst into laughter when he saw Whitley, collapsed on the ground with a small blanket. It seems that Winter had booted him off the bed in the middle of the night but Whitley didn't seem to know as he continued to sleep with a happy smile on his face.

Quietly, Magna left them alone as he made his way to the dining room. Taking in the new sights and vibe of the house, Magna was almost reluctant to leave. However, he missed his family.

It wasn't long before Magna found himself before the large doors that lead to the dining room. As he pushed the doors open, Klein's voice sounded from the side as he warmly said, "Good morning, Magna. What would you like for breakfast?"

Magna didn't even need to think as he quickly said, "French toast and hot chocolate please."

Klein gave him a gentle nod before disappearing into the kitchen. As he walked to the table, Magna couldn't help but feel a little unnerved as Willow and his grandmother focused on him.

With a wide grin, Willow perked her chin on her hands as she said, "How was it, sleeping with my daughters?"

Not expecting such a question, Magna miss placed his foot and fell to the ground, face first. In a panic, he scrambled to his feet, looking towards Willow and his grandmother with a red face as he practically screamed, "I didn't do anything!"

Willow chuckled and said, "I know."

Calming himself down, Magna sat at the table with a red face as he tried to ignore the two noble ladies. It wasn't long before Weiss, Winter and Whitley entered the dining room, with Whitley being the only one smiling.

Weiss's cheeks puffed up as she angrily glared at Magna while Winter just ignored Magna's existence.

Weiss quickly stomped her way over to Magna and screamed, "You left us behind!"

Winter followed behind her and walked past Magna but not before fl.i.c.k.i.n.g her head away from him as she pouted.

As only one not anger with him, Whitley patted his shoulder as he just said, "Don't mind it, Magna."

Breakfast was relatively awkward as Weiss and Winter ate in an angry silence while everyone else just watched on in amus.e.m.e.nt.

Just as Magna finished his breakfast, Weiss and Winter threw away all manners and etiquette as they stuffed the rest of their food into their mouths before wolfing it down with the help of juice.

Then, both girls grab Magna by his arms and sprinted out the door as they quickly yelled, "We'll be back later mother. Gonna hang out with Magna. Bye!"

Willow shook her head at her daughters antics as she yelled back, "Have fun you three!"

---

The trio were currently driving around in a limousine. Of course, Klein did all the driving as Magna and the Schneesters were still children.

They didn't have a destination as they just drove around Atlas, taking in the sights. Since Magna arrived, he hasn't been able to see the beauty of Atlas so they decided to just go touring around the city.

The city was truly a wonder. Tall buildings with immaculate roads form a beautiful city. People walked about with wide smiles while Atlesian soldiers patrol the streets.

Unlike the police in his old world, the atlesian soldiers were welcomed with open arms as most people happily greeted them before continuing on their way.

They didn't just tour the city as they drove around the outskirts of the floating city as well. The icy mountains were a breathtaking sight as light glistened off the ice and snow, making the landscape shine.

They continued their tour all the way up to when Klein recieved a call, informing them that the airship was ready to take Magna back.

As reluctant as he felt, Magna knew he had to go back. He was actually missing his family more than he realised, something which Weiss and Winter easily picked up on.

It only took them a couple minutes to arrive back home as the airship was standing on the Schnee family's personal landing pad. Seeing all his family and friends standing outside with smiles on their faces, Magna felt blessed to be living this life.

Sure, he wasn't from this world but his body was. The soul of the original owner of Magna's body had fused completely with Magna so it wasn't wrong to say that Magna was him and he was Magna.

As he stepped off the limo, Willow suddenly appeared infront of him as she lifted him up into a strong embrace. Her body trembled slightly as her eyes slowly became moist.

"Magna, remember that you can always come back here to visit or to stay. You will always be welcome here."

Before she let him go, Willow gave him a gentle kiss on his cheek as she silently thanked him for everything he's done. He might never realise it but Magna's helped her more than she could ever repay.

He healed her decrepit body, cure the damaged done by her alcohol addiction and most of all, he helped make her children's life easier and happier.

Magna lightly blushed as he slowly made his way over to his grandparents and uncles. His grandmother had a small smile on her face as she gave him a big hug and said, "Please say 'hi' to your mother for me and your grandpa. I really wish we could go with you but we're swamped with paperwork."

Hugging her back, Magna nodded and as happily said, "I definitely will, grandma. L-love you."

No matter how short it's been since Magna met them, he truly came to love his extended family. His uncles were fun, wild and free, his grandfather was strict yet loving while his grandmother was mischievous, caring and whimsical.

He turned towards his grandfather, who only gave him a gentle smile, as he dashed towards him and gave him a strong hug. His actions surprised his grandfather for a bit before he returned Magna's hug.

When it came to his uncles, he felt bad seeing the dark circles under their eyes as he gave the pair a big hug.

Finally came the Schnee siblings. Whitley looked like he was about to burst into tears but he fought then back as he gave Magna a fist bump. After returning Whitley's gesture with a wide smile, Weiss and Winter looked at him with tears in their eyes.

When the time came for Magna to actually leave, Weiss and Winter wanted to stop him from leaving but they knew he really missed his family. Instead, the duo decided to give him a gift to remember them by.

Confused on why the pair didn't move or say anything, Magna was about to speak when he felt a soft warmth appear on his cheeks.

Everyone looked at the trio in surprise before cheering them on. Weiss and Winter slowly removed their lips from Magna's cheeks as their faces burst into a dark red blush.

Stunned, Magna's face was just as red as theirs as he slowly touched his cheeks. Before he could ask about it, Weiss slowly pushed him into the airship.

Still dumbfounded by what just happened, Magna could only wave as the door to the airship closed before the ship took off.

On the ground, Weiss and Winter were blushing hard as Willow and Anna lightly laughed at the trio.
