SASUKE: Rebuilding The Uchiha Clan

"I've been waiting so long for this moment, I'm sorry Sasuke, but I won't be holding back" said Rock Lee as he removed his weights.

"I guess I'll have to give my all..." Sasuke smiled wryly. He had previously talked to Rock Lee regarding the invasion and told him they should put a show to save energy. 'Why must you be so stubborn...'

"Start the fight!"

They both disappeared from their current positions and just in the middle of the arena, 10 meters in the air there was a sonic boom from their clash.

They were both pushed back and left deep marks on the ground as they slided from the impact.

Rock Lee had a red mark on his left cheek and some blood was leaking from his lips, whereas Sasuke only had a scratch on his forehead protector, and his blood red eyes with three tomoe spinning could be seen under it.

"It seems like I'll have to go all out if I want to have a chance against those eyes" as Lee said this, he opened the hidden gates up to the third one and chakra could be seen flowing out from his body.

Sasuke got serious but still didn't open the hidden gates like Lee. They started clashing again and Lee seemed to be overpowering Sasuke who was barely holding by dodging and blocking the hits.

Just as Lee was getting angry at him for not giving his all, Sasuke appeared behind him with lightning coating his legs and gave him a strong kick on his back, sending him flying and tumbling a few trees before he stopped himself.

"That was new, for a moment I thought you weren't taking me seriously. Let me reciprocate that hit" as he said this he opened the fourth gate and vanished.

Even tough Sasuke saw him mmoving, he didn't have time to get out of the way and could only block, as he was running out of chakra there wasn't much he could do to protect himself and with a poof, exploded into a cloud of smoke.

Everyone who was paying close attention to the exciting fight started looking at the stage, searching for Sasuke but couldn't find as much as a shadow of him.

Then was it that it hit them, he was a shadow clone all this time... The poor Rock Lee was left with his mouth wide open, feeling like a fool for going all out against a clone without realizing it.

As Sasuke wasn't present in reality, Hayate coughed like he always does and said, "as Sasuke Uchiha isn't present for the fight, he is disqualified, the winner is Rock Lee!"

Rock Lee started to pull at his hair frustrated as he shouted "Sasuke! Just you wait, after everything is settled you'll have to fight me for real!" And he left for the participants seats fuming in anger.

Meanwhile in the land of summons, the original Sasuke was sitting on top of the head of the giant sloth chief in a meditative position. As his shadow clone was destroyed, he trembled a bit and only received he last bit of information it experienced, since they were way too far apart there was no way he could receive everything.

When he saw that he lost against Lee he knew he didn't have much time before the invasion started, so he channeled the body refining technique as fast as he could to finish integrating the now Sage transformation seal into his every cells.

As everyone was still having trouble to process what just happened with the abrupt end of the fight, Hayate called the last two participants of this round of battles.

"Naruko and Gaara, come to the stage please!"

Naruko was all excited about the fight and directly jumped into the arena, ignoring the warnings that Sakura was giving her about her dangerous opponent.

Gaara had a creepy face, his eyes were bloodshot and was having problems to hold his urge to kill. He could feel there was something dangerous inside his opponent and it was causing him to loose his control.

As he walked through the stairs he was murmuring "mother is getting iimpatient, she wants blood. Just wait for a bit mother, I'll get you her blood soon enough, we are going to kill her"

When he reached the stage, he stood in front of Naruko with one hand on his head. "I'm going to prove my existence by killing you".

Naruko became a bit nervous at this but soon calmed down by taking a deep breath, remembering her hellish training with the ero-sennin. "Then come at me dattebayo!"

"Start!"

As Hayate announced the start of the battle, everyone watching the fight were holding their breath. Hiruzen was the most nervous and looked as if he would jump to stop the fight at any mmoment but Tsunade held him back by saying, "don't embarrass yourself old man, trust her a bit, she's trained hard for this fight"

"But but", " no buts! sit down and watch in silence!". As Tsunade treated him like a little boy, Hiruzen had a wronged expression, grumbling and mumbling things like "~tch~ I'm your sensei but you treat me like a kid, you old hag" completely unbecoming of his status, just because of his over protectiveness towards Naruko.

Gaara started releasing his sand and Naruko created a bunch of shadow clones and started bombarding hhim from all directions with kunais, shurikens and fire balls.

As the sand blocked everything like it was nothing, the clones tried to infiltrate his defense and use taijutsu, but everything was useless as they were completely obliterated by Gaara as he surrounded them with sand, and closing his hand, ~poof poof poof poof~ four clones were crushed just like that.

When she saw how nothing seemed to work she created another shadow clone and used a combination jutsu taught by her grandpa. "Great fireball!" "Great breakthrough!"

The flames intensity caused some of tthe sand to crystalize. Thinking it was effective Naruko was preparing to repeat the same but without realizing it, she was caught by the sand.

As the sand coiled around her body, she was alarmed and decided to use the Kyuubi chakra. Her eyes became red and the pupils became slits, she also grew fangs and claws and her chakra became a visible orange.

The sand that had managed to trap her was pushed back as she successfully got away. Gaara started becoming even more unstable as he increased his "mother monologue".

With the increase in powed, Naruko took the fight to close combat. Gaara's sand couldn't get close to her because it was being repelled by the dense chakra of the kyuubi.

Naruko landed hit after hit on his body and when she caused him to spit blood, Gaara looked scared and crazier than ever. He surrounded himself in a ball of sand and no matter how much Naruko tried, she couldn't pass through it.

"This is bad, Gaara is loosing control, we cannot keep with the plan" said Temari as she observed the sand cocoon Gaara surrounded himself with.

Naruko could feel the changes happening inside the sand and knew something bad was about to happen.

Kabuto who was hidden among the anbu decided to start the operation, taking advantage of Gaara losing control.
