Second Marriage: My Strongest Bodyguard

Chapter 65 - Be Sure And Carefully

Elsewhere, Lauren is sitting in Calvin's school canteen enjoying a glass of hot tea and a snack of biscuits. She was silent while staring at Louis who was busy playing with his smartphone. She felt annoyed at her boyfriend because ever since she had made love with her, that man seemed to care less about her.

"Louis," said Lauren.

Louis looked up at Lauren. "Yes, what is up?"

"I don't think you love me," muttered Lauren, bending her face.

"Hey, why to say that?" asked Louis, surprised.

"Since that night, you changed. You no longer care for me. you just want me for a moment, then feel satisfied and bored after getting me, sleeping with me. I am so stupid because it is consumed by your seduction. Damn it!" Lauren let out a gasp for no apparent reason. She got out of the chair and chose to leave the canteen.

"Lauren ... Lauren!" Louis also rushed out of the cafeteria. He chased his girlfriend until he stopped in front of the class which was still quiet because the children were studying in the classroom.

Lauren paused and looked away from Louis who was staring at her. "You must be a bastard who if you manage to fuck a girl, just walk away."

"Why do you accuse me so badly, Honey? Don't I stay here, always by your side, even when I'm near you." Louis looked sadly at Lauren.

"It's because our job is to protect Calvin, but I can feel you don't care about me anymore!" exclaimed Lauren, rather high-pitched.

"What should I do?" asked Louis, confused.

"I have no idea." Lauren still grumbled and looked away.

Louis was silent because he did not understand what Lauren wanted.

"I hate it when I'm alone, my boyfriend is even busy with his smartphone." Finally, Lauren revealed why. "I thought you kept another woman in your heart."

Louis took his smartphone, opened his Instagram account, then gave it to Lauren. "This is what I've seen since earlier."

Lauren glances at Louis's smartphone, which shows Alex chatting with an old man and some burly thugs at a cafe. the woman was frowning, looking at her lover.

"What is the meaning of this photo?" asked Lauren.

"I think we have to be extra careful to protect Calvin. Maybe Alex wants him not just to take over custody," said Louis seriously.

"You mean ... he has other bad plans too?" Lauren guessed.

"Yes, I'll talk about this matter with Dean." Louis returned to keep his smartphone in his pants pocket.

"Dean is having a wonderful time as a newlywed. it is unethical to give him a load of mind because of this problem," said Lauren.

"Yes, I'll talk about this after he returns home. I've also spoken with Samuel to be more careful about taking care of Sofia."

"So what happened with Sofia. I still don't understand why Sofia has to be guarded like Calvin."Lauren glanced at the classroom window and saw that her foster children were excitedly singing along with their classmates.

"Because the old man who was with Alex earlier was Sofia's grandfather. the man was rich who always wanted to snatch Sofia from Dean. He's notoriously ruthless and has a dark business," Louis explained angrily, then glanced intently at Lauren. "My duty is getting harder, but that doesn't mean I'm ignoring you. don't misunderstand me, because this is my job."

Lauren's gaze softened to Louis. "Sorry, I misunderstood you. It turns out I'm the one who lacks maturity."

"It's not your fault, honey. Indeed I am not good at managing time." Louis looked sadly at Lauren.

Lauren nodded, then turned to glance at the classroom where Calvin looked so happy every time at school. "We have to be extra careful with Calvin. Our responsibility is enormous and heavy. don't let it just because we focus on thinking about our relationship, make us careless about it."

"Yes, for the time being, we have to be like this." Louis sighed, then leaned closer to Lauren and took her hand. "If I earn a lot, I will marry you. Do you want?"

Lauren nodded with a shy smile.

Louis also smiled and was about to kiss Lauren on the lips.

"Oh no!" exclaimed Lauren, turning her face to avoid Louis's attack. "Remember that we are in front of the kindergarten class."

Louis smiled and chose to embrace Lauren from the side.

On the bed covered in white curtains that occasionally flew because of the gust of wind, Dean hummed to sing James Arthur's song entitled "Say you won't Let go" while hugging Bryana who was still asleep without wearing clothes. Dean covered Bryana with a thick white blanket, while he was already wearing gray jeans paired with a dark blue sweater with a small lion on his chest.

Dean sang in his not-so-bad baritone voice. Could say the sound was good and made those beside him wake up.

"I just found out that my handsome bodyguard is good at singing," Bryana muttered as she sank her face into Dean's chest. she smiled so happily because the song touched her heart as if her husband loved her.

Dean blushed, then kissed Bryana on the forehead. "I'm not good at it. The real singer's voice is more beautiful."

"Hem. But I prefer you to sing. I feel like you sang it sincerely for me," said Bryana as she looked up at Dean, then kissed his jaw which was covered with neat hairs.

"It is an expression of my heart. I am very happy with you." Dean hugged Bryana tightly.

"I'm happy too ...I feel lazy to go home, lazy to go to the office. I want to spend time with you every day like this. But that's impossible, we have to realize that we've left Calvin and Sofia without saying goodbye."Bryana thought of the want at home. She also thought and want to know how they were. "I borrowed your phone to call Lauren."

"Okay, then call Samuel too. I want to make sure Sofia is okay," said Dean casually. he took his hug to Bryana, then took his smartphone which was on the table beside the bed so he had to pull open the mosquito net when he was about to get his smartphone.

Bryana tried to contact Lauren several times before getting a response. "Hello, Lauren. why did you take so long to answer a call from me?"

"Sorry, Ma'am. I was ... in the bathroom," said Lauren from the phone sounding a little panicked and nervous.

Bryana sighed, glanced at Dean who turned to lean his head against her chest while embracing her possessively. "How are the kids?"

"They're with Mr. Stevan, Ma'am"

"With dad?" Bryana frowned.

"Yes, Ma'am. Since their return from school, Mr. Stevan has taken them for a walk."

"Okay then, watch them well," Bryana exclaimed then said back, "I'll hang up the phone first."

"Yes, Ma'am."

Bryana immediately disconnected the phone and put Dean's smartphone beside her. She turned to stare at Dean who kissed his naked chest. "Honey, when are we going home?" She asked.

"Anytime you want," replied Dean casually.

Bryana got up and sat down until Dean was forced to release his hug. "I am hungry."

"Then let's have lunch together. there is still food in the kitchen that I prepared earlier," said Dean as he sat down.

Bryana glanced at Dean, who was fully dressed and looking neat. "Has Monica come to bring clothes for me?" She asked.

"Yes, she came with Kareen when it was still raining," replied Dean then opened the curtain and tied it to the mosquito net support bond.

Hearing the name Kareen, Bryana's mood suddenly deteriorated. "I don't like Kareen."

Dean took a deep breath as he looked at Bryana who was too sensitive to Kareen. "Why? She will not be able to make me stop loving you. You must also be sure that our love will not be shaken just because of her or anyone."

"I have no idea." Bryana shrugged his shoulders and then got out of bed. "I just felt like she was really bad for our relationship. I felt like I had to be in the case."

Bryana walked to the dressing table where there was already a neatly arranged makeup kit and there was a black dress and underwear on the chair. She immediately put on the clothes, then sat on a chair staring at her reflection in the mirror.

Dean looked at Bryana, who was no longer cute just because he said the name "Kareen". He also approached his wife who was polishing her face with makeup.

"You are mad at me?" Dean hugged Bryana from behind.

"No," Bryana said as she ran a brown eyebrow pencil on her slightly thick eyebrows.

"But I feel you are angry ... I feel you are different. I won't mention her name again or talk about her again if it makes you indifferent to me," said Dean while kissing Bryana's shoulder, which was partly because the fabric on the shoulder was very thin.

Bryana sighed, then turned to glance at Dean who was too scared if he was angry. "I'm still Bryana who has always loved Dean Jackson.. Kareen or anyone else won't be able to make me stop loving you.
