Sephiroth World Traveler

"Now then Raynare, I hope you understand what happens if you were to ever betray me" Sephiroth spoke in a ruthless tone of voice with a clear threat directed at her. Pointing at the two different areas where her friends used to be showing that with a single spell he is able to kill her if he so pleases.

"I need you to do two things for me Raynare, The first one tell me about what Kokabiel and Azazel plans are for this town." From everything that Sephiroth has heard and picked up he knew that Raynare and her group were sent here as a vanguard unit basically but he didn't know what their goal was. One of the reasons that he kept her alive.

"Yes lord Sephiroth, me and my group were sent here to recruit any sacred gear users and see if they wanted to join the fallen angel faction Grigori to receive protection and training in the use of their sacred gear. I don't know what happened but Kokabiel took over in giving us our orders and changed them to kill all sacred users we come across. We didn't dare disobey him because of his rank in the organization, also our group preferred killing anyway" Raynare explained to Sephiroth hoping that the information helped some.

"Was there any other order that he had given you recently?" Sephiroth asked curious what this fallen angel leader wanted to do in a devil run territory.

"None lord, but I did hear from others that he was going to be getting some holy swords somehow and use them to do something just don't know what" Sephiroth nodded to this and had a good idea what he was going to do with them if his previous actions are anything to go by. He probably is going to use those holy swords to kill an important devil or angel thus starting another war, like the past.

"I'll just inform Sona about this later then it seems like we still have some time if he hasn't even gotten the swords if what Raynare is saying is to be believed" thought Sephiroth curious what Sona's reaction will be when she finds out about this crazy fallen angel.

"I understand Raynare, now for your second task that I'm assigning you. I want you to protect this young girl here till I tell you otherwise. Keep in mind if she dies you die" Raynare showed a repulsive face when she heard she had to protect a weak human girl but then got scared when she heard that she will die if Asia dies. She didn't want to die for damn sure but she also hated this girl because of her she is in this current situation.

"Ah, Sephiroth you don't have to have lady Raynare protect me. I can take care of myself, you can just have lady Raynare do something else." Asia says while trying to put up a strong front, not even being angry that the one that was going to kill her not that long ago is the one that is forced to protect her now.

This got Sephiroth thinking what was wrong with this girl no one can be this pure and naive in the world right? He was glad that he spared this fallen angel otherwise he would be forced to have her follow him around all the time for a while and he didn't want this little girl following him around given that she basically has no idea how the outside world works like at all, from what he has gathered in their time together so far.

"Asia, you are weak and you can think of this as atonement for Raynare" Sephiroth stated, trying to persuade Asia to see that this is good for her. When Asia heard that word atonement she stopped and thought about it for a moment and then nodded her head because she is similar to her then they both need atonement for their past actions hers for healing a devil and Raynare for trying to kill her.

"I understand Sephiroth, if protecting me will save lady Raynare as well then I'll be glad to be protected by her"

Bowing to Raynare "Please take care of me" Asia spoke and then walked to stand next to her.

Raynare just was shell shocked at this girl, she just tried to kill this girl like not even an hour ago and she isn't even mad at her for it just brushes it off and then is allowing her to protect her without even putting up much of a fight. She just didn't know what to think in this situation but if her new lord wanted her to protect her then she will especially because she didn't want to die.

"I'll do my best to protect you from danger Asia" Raynare said with a slight bow, figuring that it was the right thing to do in this situation. Asia tried to get her to stand up straight and not bow to her but she was too weak to physically do it.

"Right well Raynare clean up the area of the bodies and then take Asia to my house for now, here is the address" Sephiroth gave her a note with his address on it not forgetting to give her some money so that she can buy some clothing and food for Asia on the way.

Once that was done Sephiroth teleported himself to Sona's house to report what he has found out so far and he appeared right in the living room behind her couch. He found quite an adorable scene when he got there because Sona Sitri, the ever so serious girl, was cuddling with a stuffed teddy bear sleeping on the couch.

"Who would have thought that she liked things like that" he muttered to himself before he decided to walk around the couch and crouch in front of Sona's face.

Drawing close to her ear, he leaned in and whispered ever so softly "Who wants to be a magical girl" When he spoke that to Sona he excepted her to wake up quickly but she didn't instead she said something back in her sleep.

"So-tan wants to be a magical girl along with her big sister Levia-tan" When Sephiroth heard that sentence he was shocked because from what he knows she hated magical girl stuff because of her sister but who knew that secretly she wanted to be one. He was going to tell Serafall next time he saw her; it would be too amusing not to see Sona dressed as a magical girl.

Getting back on track and filing this amusing idea for future, this time he properly woke her up by shaking her awake and calling her name out. Upon waking up the first thing that she saw was Sephiroth green cat like eyes staring directly into hers. They stayed like this for several seconds, no one saying a word, but Sona's face was slowly getting more and more red as the seconds went by because of the situation she is in right now sleeping with her teddy bear.

"Sephiroth why are you in my house right now?" Sona asked trying to figure out why he was here now of all times.

"I have something important to report to you about the fallen angels and figured I do it now get it over with" Sephiroth spoke but still staring at her in front of her face.

"I see, then why don't you give me a moment to freshen up and then we can continue" Sephiroth just nodded to this and stepped back. Sona got up and started to walk away but then she just remembered that her teddy bear that she sleeps with is on the couch still and in front of Sephiroth.

She quickly walked back to the couch, grabbed her stuffed toy and bolted for her room, but not before seeing the smirk on Sephiroth's face and she knew that this was going to bite her in the a.s.s later.

Walking out of her room and sitting down on the couch, she gestured for Sephiroth to sit with her but not before speaking "You never saw Sir Charles, sleeping with me on the couch, got it" Sona threatened Sephiroth.

"I don't know who that is, I just saw you sleeping when I got here" Sona sighed to this at least he wasn't going to tease her about this at least for now or so she thought.

"I did see you have a small stuffed bear though" Sephiroth said in a teasing tone and Sona got a depressed look on her face when he mentioned it.

Then Sephiroth explained how he handled the fallen angel group that was in the abandoned church and how in the process he saved a girl named Asia Aggento, an excommunicated saint from the church who came here because of them only to be used as a sacrifice to get her sacred gear twilight healing.

When Sona heard that someone with such a rare sacred gear was in the town she was half tempted to interpret Sephiroth to learn where she was but then thought about it and wanted to wait till Sephiroth was done with his report before she said anything. Maybe he would mention what he did with the girl if she is alive that is.

He told Sona that he killed all of them except one of them and saved Asia from her fate, When Sona asked him why. He mentioned that he wanted to know what their plans were and informed her what he found out and what he thought they were going to do next. Sona was surprised that Kokabiel, a cadre level fallen angel, was going to steal some holy swords. She didn't doubt what Sephiroth thought he was going to do with them, it is a known fact that he wants to start a war again.

When Sephiroth mentioned the second reason that he left her alive so that he could have a protector for Asia, Sona figured that Sephiroth was just too lazy to protect her himself. After hearing all of this information, she really wanted to meet this girl before Rias heard of her. Someone of her personality wouldn't do will with Rias and her peerage and work better with hers.

"Sephiroth can I meet Asia tomorrow morning?" Sona asked hoping that he would agree since he is in charge of her now.

"I don't see why not, I was going to bring her anyway so that you can get her in school so she has something to do. She needs real world experience from what I have seen, and I don't have time to teach her these things." Sephiroth answered back

"Good, then I'll see you two in the morning. Now please leave so that I can rest" Sona said, wanting him to leave now.

"Of course Sona, I'll see you tomorrow then" Sephiroth said and made a teleportation circle to head home but before he did he said one last thing to Sona, "And say goodbye to Sir Charles for me as well" and then he was gone. But if he had stayed a second longer he would have been hit with an icicle to the face from Sona who had a scowl on her face.

"Damn bastard, I'll get him tomorrow for that snide comment" Fumed Sona to herself making a quite adorable pout on her face that anyone would have that was cute if someone was to see it.

When Sephiroth returned home finally he saw that Rias wasn't anywhere in the house by his senses. He saw Asia and Raynare in the kitchen with Raynare sitting at the table doing nothing by standing guard over Asia who was currently cooking dinner for everyone if the amount was anything to go by.

"Asia you don't have to cook for me, you can make Raynare do that instead"

"Lord, I don't know how to cook though," Raynare said from the table proving that she can be really useless.

Sighing to himself "Asia I'm signing you up for school tomorrow so that you have something to do and get to experience real life for once."

Asia got excited and had tears in her eyes knowing that Sephiroth was going to do something like that for her.

"Also you will be meeting Sona Sitri tomorrow morning one of the supervisors for Kuoh town she happens to be the student council president, she really wanted to meet you"

They had dinner after that and before they all settled in for the night Sephiroth said one last thing " Raynare your going to school to as her bodyguard as well so have fun" Sephiroth then went upstairs leaving a stunned Raynare behind and a happy Asia that her new friend is coming with her.
