Servants With A Modern Weapon

Chapter 72 - Back To School

The jets flew for almost one hour, and we finally arrived at the Costellia town region, albeit at a very high altitude.

"Generals, I think it is time for all of you to jump," Lieteunant Harrington said to us while opening the door.

"Ok, get ready!" I said as I stood up and wore my parachute.

The others followed me from behind, and Captain Hasslebrown opened the cargo bay. The ramp opened down, and Lieutenant Harrington gave us the commando to jump.

"Bon voyage," one of the Sergeants said to us while we were jumping down.

We fell down from that high altitude then the breeze of freezing wind blasted our face. The blinking lights from the Costellia were astoundingly beautiful. We were wearing our oxygen mask on our face.

Garth: "This is great."

Wilson: "Make sure you open the parachute, ok?"

Cecile: "Roger."

Maria: "I can see the roof now."

Wilson: "Ok, on my mark. Open the cord in 5.. 4... 3... 2... 1... OPEN IT NOW!!!"

The parachute on our back opened, and we landed on the roof of the girl's dorm. Though, the problem was easily solved by a rappelling kit.

"Where are the others?'' Garth asked me while I was attaching the rappelling kit on the building.

"Probably in their own hometown," I attached my belt to the rappelling kit.

"See you next morning," Garth said while rappeling down the building.

"See ya," Maria said from the top of the Girl's Dorm.

She grabbed the rappelling kit and put it on her backpack and headed downstairs through the maintenance door.

"Let's get back at our room, shall we?" I said as I moved through the academy's park.

When we opened the glass door of the dorm. Head deeper into our building, we will arrive in the living room. Four sofas in each corner and a big white table in the middle. My friends definitely brought that table here and that 7 chairs in the middle. Definitely, my Friends were the ones to blame. Not only that, but they also use the green curtain of the class as a makeshift tablecloth.

Five people appeared from the stairs of the dorm. One of them held a poker card on his hand, and the others were bringing a big bottle of beer and a dozen glasses for drinking. They were shocked when they were looking at us who were still wearing the CADPAT uniform and had an assault rifle holstered on our back. They ran back upstairs, and Garth and I decided to chase after them.

"Why are you running?" I shouted from downstairs while running to their direction.

Garth followed me to shout after that, "Come back now!!" he shouted after me.

Our friends came back downstairs while still holding the evidence on their hands. They all looked down at the floor with an obvious sign of fear of us.

"What's this?" I grabbed the playing cards from Jeremy.

"It's a playing card, Wilson, we are going to play a hold em," One of them said while looking down at me.

I took the card out of the box and started to shuffle the cards with my hands, and some of them were looking at me with a surprised face.

"You are not going to call the skulls?" Jeremy said with a surprised tone.

"Of course not, what are you talking about? We are friends, aren't we?" I said as I sat down on one of the chairs that were placed in front of the green table.

"Are you going to play with us?" One of them said to me while sitting on the chair.

"Of course I am, Garth, care to join?" I asked him while distributing the cards to the whole players.

"Nah, I just want to head upstairs for now," Garth said as he headed upstairs.

"Ok," I peeked at my cards.

A pair of four. Not too bad, but not too good, either. My opponent could have high cards. I will play this card if a four showed up, but if it's not, I will just fold it.

"Check," Dorian, the player beside me, said.

"Check," James, the player beside Dorian, said.

"I'll call," Harris, the player besides James, said.

"I'll call too," Craig, the player besides Harris, said.

"Call, I will call," Gary, the player on my right side, said.

"I'll call," I said as I grabbed the deck of cards in the middle of the green table.

"Ok, so here comes the flop," I said as three cards were being laid on the table, An ace of spades, four of clovers, and six of tiles.

"Wilson, what kind of card is this?" Dorian said angrily as he folded his card on the table.

"I'll check," James said with a confident face.

"I'll check," Harris said.

"Fold," Craig said.

"Fold," Gary said.

"Fold," I said as I revealed the turn.

The matches between us all continue until we felt that it was too late for us to sleep. Though the matches didn't end in peace because Dorian was drunk as hell since the loser has to drink all of that beer.

"Bring him to his dorm room, I think it would have ended better if we hadn't brought that alcohol," I sais as Craig brought Dorian back to his dorm room.

"Ok," He said as he carried Dorian in his back.

"See ya guys," I said.

"See ya, Wilson," They replied as I climbed upstairs.

I headed to our room and opened the wooden door, and lock it once I got inside my room. Garth was sleeping, but he wasn't in ordinary sleep. He was using the VR helmet on his head. He put his boots and the socks in front of his bed. I wondered what did he do on the VR, so I put off my boots and socks then I put the VR helmet on my head too. I laid down on the bed.

Once I turned on the helmet, there was a lot of information displayed. The vital sign of my body and writing displayed on the helmet "Initiating virtual world," then the helmet started to do its work, which put the user into the virtual world of military simulation.
