SHINOBI In A World Of Magic

The combat exam's purpose was to choose qualified students and to place them accordingly. The courses were separated into standard and elite. There are remedial courses for those who weren't up to speed, but that would only last for 3 months. After the combat exam, they returned home to celebrate, Leah and a couple other friends came by as well. Yohan realized he needed some opponents to see what is viable or not in combat. He wanted to give his family a huge surprise when he enters the magic academy. However he put that thought at the back of his head, he decided to celebrate as well.

"Big sis Amber! You were so awesome! You will definitely be accepted!" Stella was praising. She and Yohan started recanting with their own SFX. Amber's friends were snickering nearby.

"Yohan, do you want to become a combat mage too?" Amber asked.

"Yes! I want to become a combat mage like big sis!" Yohan pumped his fist to the air.

"Me too! Me too!" Stella repeated with her wagging bushy tail.

"If you want to be a combat mage, you must be able to will your magic and do so in a combat situation." Amber said. Yohan and Stella quietly listened. "You must be able to respond and make decisions when you are facing your opponent. Finally, you must never underestimate them." Yohan and Stella nodded showing they were taking note of her advice."Yohan, you have a weapon too right? Why don't you test it out in a spar." Amber casually suggested. Yohan not backing down from an opportunity, agreed and got his war fan from his room. The a.d.u.l.ts in the living and dining room were intrigued by such an odd weapon.

"Hey Amber, what is going on?" Vivian asked.

"Mom! I'm going to spar with big sis Amber!" Yohan answered instead.

"Spar? Do you really have to do so? I mean what about school mates from your year." Vincent suggested.

"I don't want to fight weaklings!" Yohan arrogantly stated. Everyone looked at his face filled with disdain, they were surprised that he would call his peers so.

"Okay but if you're going to spar, please go easy on Yohan." Vivian said.

"Don't worry mom we will!" Amber said as she backed off a bit. Their backyard was spacious, about a fifth of a football field. They don't have to worry about damages much since every house was intended to withstand magic at the intermediate tier to a certain degree. Yohan readied his war fan. Everyone tried their best to keep their laughter down because of the contrast between the size of the war fan and Yohan.

"Let's go!" Amber lashed her whip out. Yohan used [Shushin]. He moved to her blind side. Amber was caught off guard, luckily the whip was coming back towards Yohan's direction. Yohan did a back-flip and landed in a crouching position.

"I never knew Yohan was so nimble on his feet." "What was that blur before? he just appeared on Amber's left side" "How is he able to wield that fan while back-flipping?" These comments were spread amongst the audience.

"Big sis! this is fun!" Yohan was excited, a smile was on his face. "Let's use magic too!" Yohan put down his fan and performed a hand seal. '[Doton: iwadeppo no jutsu]' He thought. Small chunks of rock shot from his mouth, he made it so it wouldn't expand. Everyone was surprised, how is he able to release his element so well?

"It seems my little brother has a few secrets. Shame on you for keeping them from your big sis" Amber was smiling, knowing her younger brother was strong and could probably put up a good fight. She intercepted those small rocks with a fiery whip. "Let's see what else you have up your sleeve." She started lashing fire out. Yohan picked up his fan and ran towards his sister, along the way he blocked the thin lines of fire.

"Hmmm.... Why is his fan glowing?" One of Amber's friend noted. Amber became more cautious. She kept swinging her whip, but that didn't slow Yohan. He got so close that Amber couldn't use her whip in such close quarters and she had to will fire from her hand as she retreated back. She then saw there were 3 tadpoles circling in each of his irises and what happened to the fire; it diminished when it hit the fan, like it was absorbed. Yohan got closer and closer to Amber still absorbing the flames with his war fan.

"Uchiha gaeshi" One phrase and Amber got blown back landing on one knee. Everyone looked at what happened. It was clear that the fan was special. "Uhhh.. sorry, I might have gotten ahead of myself." Yohan said with the comical knock on his head. Amber got to her feet and ran towards Yohan when he was talking and grabbed him by the scruff of his neck.

"You know that really hurt!" Amber said with a wronged expression. Yohan stood there while shrugging. Everyone demanded an explanation of his weapon, which he gave curtly.

"So your weapon can absorb mana from magic and store it for a short amount of time during which you can reflect it on your opponent." Vincent summarized. "Did you know that it had this function before we bought it?" Yohan nodded.

"No wonder you wanted it so badly, it's a real treasure!" Amber said. "My weapon is nothing compared to yours!" She said in envy, however she mostly felt happy that Yohan has such a great weapon. "Hey what happened to your eyes, I saw some tadpoles swimming in your irises when we fought." Everyone was confused with her choice of words.

"Well, that is a power hidden in my eyes." Yohan struggled to say, his stomach turned with that line that could probably be a symptom of chuni disease. He activated his sharingan for everyone to see.

"Those aren't tadpoles, but it looks mysterious." Joanne sounded like she was playing along with Yohan's chuni disease. Stella, Leah, Amber and her friends were mesmerized.

"Wait there aren't any tadpoles?" Yohan thought he had 3 tomoed sharingan activated, but he bolted to look for a mirror. He looked into it and saw it was Obito's Mangekyo sharingan! Yohan was elated. He was able to evolve his sharingan.

"Yohan, what can those eyes do?" A crowd appeared from behind, everyone was curious. Yohan just said it would give him better perception and would allow him to predict the trajectory of his opponent's weapon by a few seconds. Of course Yohan wasn't going to disclose that he is now able travel long distances within seconds, transport others to his own space and become 'intangible'. He wanted this to be a surprise.
