When Bavarian-sama waved his hand and said something, Yurina-san, Chatra and Maya, who were not kneeling yet, suddenly looked shocked, like they were struck by lightning. They immediately bowed down right here and there. Although in Chatra’s case, it was more like a jump dive to a kneeling position.

The old man snatched the bottle within the blink of an eye and gulped everything down in one go. Then, his barren head began to shine and then a moment later, luxuriant, bushy sprout of hair were growing from his head. Furthermore, his dull, pale, skin became so radiant and glossy smooth.

It seemed the potion not only worked wonders for growing hair but also had some sort of anti-aging effect like rejuvenating the skin.

Jill-san appeared beside the old man, bringing a hand mirror from who knew where. The man checked his rejuvenated face and the luxuriant bush on his head and he immediately lit up with delight. He hugged Bavarian-sama’s shoulder and danced boisterously.

“Umm… I’m sorry for interrupting your merry celebration but regarding the payment… If you could please consider giving me this much…”

I raised 3 fingers and called out to them to talk about the payment. Bavarian-sama and the old man both turned their gleeful faces at me and patted my back enthusiastically, seemingly saying something like,”Well done! Well done!”

“No, while I understand your feelings, but if you can express your gratitude with money then I’ll be very grate-”

Or so I thought but then, the old man shouted something to Bavarian-sama and at the soldiers in the fancy armor. Upon hearing it, both the soldiers and Bavarian-sama smiled at me. Then my shoulders were grabbed by both of them and they took me outside along with them.

“Huh?”

Outside, there was a luxurious carriage drawn by two gorgeous white horses waiting and I was pushed into the said carriage.

“Wait-! What are you guys doing?!”

“×〇△.”

However, my protest was silenced by Bavarian-sama as he gestured for me to shut my mouth. As I looked over the carriage with a distant look on my face, I saw Yurina-san. She looked worried, reasonably so. When Yurina-san made eye contact with me, she then gave me a strained smile.

Just, what am I supposed to make out of her reaction?

When the old man with an intense gaze finally got into the carriage, the coachman finally started driving the carriage slowly, away from my house.
