SIBLINGS: Forbidden Love

Anna sighed and looked around the room "what's that smell?" She asked with her brows furrowed.

Jason sniffed "oh, dad is baking cookies. You up for it?"

"I still don't understand how dad's cookies tastes better than mom's" she commented.

Jason chuckled at that "just like mine tastes better than yours, it's in the male genes" he grinned.

Anna rolled her eyes, glad for the second freedom from his open chest, she is pretty sure he has no idea what it does to her body, if not, he should have covered himself up immediately "whatever" she replied getting out of the bed.

Jason walked to his dressing table to pick up his body cream, he put some in his hand and start applying on his chest and back. She stood staring at the way his hand caressed his body and suddenly wish it could do so on hers, how tantalizing will that feel? She shook her head to clear the thought before letting out a low sigh "go dress up, you don't want dad waiting for us."

Anna nodded, although she is reluctant to leave, she knows she has to or she might loose all her self control. She walked out of his room into hers and closed the door behind her, pressing her head on the door, she thought of what happened last night or what she thought happened. She can swear she felt him kiss her but she is not too sure what to think, so many times, he had kiss her in her dream but last night felt so real, she shook her head again, it's not possible, she told herself, she has just been thinking too much, nothing much.

She took of her clothing and walked into the bathroom to have a cold shower, despite the weather is already cold enough. She shivered when the cold water touched her body and she almost dance in the bathroom to generate a little heat for her body.

Minutes later, they were on their way to school "see you in the evening kids" Samuel called after them, once they got to their school.

"Sure dad" Jason replied and Anna waved at him with a smile. They both walked into the school and Jason walked her to her class.

"Try not to get into trouble today, but if you do? You know where to find me" he smiled and kissed her head.

"I won't like to put you into trouble again" she replied with the same smile and he chuckled.

"I love you" he said before turning and walking away. She watched him leave and wondered how he find it so easy to say, she often don't reply him because she is afraid, should she do so, she might say it with all her heart, thereby making her feelings known, neither do he complain when she doesn't reply. She sighed, he is the best brother and also will be the best boyfriend and husband, but too bad, she won't be the one to experience that with him. She turned and walked into her class with a heavy heart.

"Anna, come fast, your brother is having a quarrel with Mr Donnell, his gym teacher" Aliyah shouted and Anna sprang to her feet, she was out of the class in a flash and rushed into the gym, there were students clustering everywhere and she felt her heart grow heavy, what could have happened? She thought as she fought her way through the students, who most of them were in their gym attire.

"I will not do it" she heard Jason said before catching a glimpse of his hair and then seeing him standing in front of the teacher, with Cash standing beside him, did they get into a fight again? She wondered.

"Jason Macaulay, you do as I say" Mr Donnell commanded in a thunderous voice.

"I will not apologize to him. For crying out loud, I won't. He hurt my sister, whatever beating he got yesterday, he deserves it" Jason replied adamantly.

What the heck? Is Mr Donnell asking him to apologize to Cash? But why? Anna wondered.

"I will not say this again Jason"

"And I will not reply you again."

"If you don't do as I say, you are out of my class and you are out of prom!" Donnell shouted and it was rewarded with loud gasps from student hanging around.

Jason out of prom? Then they will be no prom, some of the girls were whispering, what will be the essence of them going there if Jason won't be there. Everywhere quietened down to hear his reply. Anna felt her heart clutch, this is intimidation, she thought, why is he fighting for Cash? Didn't they both receive punishment from the principal yesterday? Why is Jason the only one to apologize?

Jason remained silent far longer than was necessary, everybody knew he was contemplating, he thought about the issue, apologize to Cash, then his sister looses her face and what will be the essence of fighting for her yesterday? Don't apologize, he save his sister's face but can't go to prom, where is the joy of graduating from high school then?

He bit his lower lip as he consider his option, but can he choose prom over his sister? His sweet darling sister? "Fine then, no prom" he stated and walked away but his eyes met Anna's, first it revealed shock before tenderness, he walked up to her and grabbed her hand, dragging her away with him.

Donnell was furious, surprised and shocked, what the hell? Did he actually agree to no prom? He didn't mean that, he just wanted to scare him with it to get him to apologize to his nephew to fulfill the promise he made to his sister and the dude actually agree to forfeit prom rather than apologize? Where did he get his strength from? All for his sister?

Donnell wasn't the only one thinking like that, the whole students present all shared the same thought, including Cash, he actually thought he could get the proud Jason to apologize to him but he actually gave up on prom, all for Anna?

Josh, James, Pierce and Tim all went after them. They got up with them at the hallway and called them to stop "dude, you sure?" Josh asked with a wide eye expression, he knows how much Jason wanted to go to prom, and to hear him throwing it away just now, really startled him.

Jason looked at Anna in his arms, he wiped a few strand of her hair out of her face "go back to class."

"But..." She began.

"No but. Go back to class, I will see you after school" he smiled and pushed her away and Anna have no choice but to go away, she turned to look at him with a moisten eyes and he smiled before she finally left.

"Dude" Josh called to him again and he sighed.

"What else do you want to hear? Weren't I clear enough in there?" Jason asked.

"Dude calm down, don't blame us. I mean, we all know you have gone to order for your suit, we went with you dude and we know how much you want to go to prom. So don't blame us for being surprise" answered Pierce.

Jason sighed, he really do want to go to prom but if it means apologizing to Cash who hurt his sweet dear sister, he would rather forget it "it doesn't matter anymore guys, let's just forget about it."

"I still think you should report to Mr Anderson" put in James.

"Yea" seconded Tim "I mean, you both were punished yesterday by him right? He should know how far Mr Donnell is taking it."

"Guess, you guys are forgetting something" said Jason "Mr Donnell and Mr Anderson are best of friends, who do you think he will side, hmm?"

The guys groaned "I hate public school, I really can't wait to be done with it" put in Josh.

"Yea" they all agreed and Jason smiled, he is really going to miss going to prom, but, anything for his sister. They all walked to the Cafeteria while waiting for their next class.

Samuel picked up his kids later in the day and he noticed that there was something wrong with them for they were awfully quiet "anything interesting happen at school?"

Anna sighed "Jason got kicked out of prom and out of gym class."

"What the...Why?" Samuel asked shocked.

"Because he refused to apologize to Cash for beating him up yesterday because of me" she answered.

Samuel glanced at his son briefly before looking back at the road "just like that?'

Jason nodded " yea. It's okay dad, please don't tell mom."

"Why?" He asked even Anna was surprised and was looking at him.

"You know how she is, tell her now and she is taking the next available flight home. And I don't want to do that, she is busy, I don't want to disturb her for such a trifle matter."

"Hmm. Well, I don't know what else to say."

Anna sucked at the back seat, it's all her fault, if she hadn't asked Cash to be her boyfriend then none of this would have happened, Jason wouldn't have gotten into a fight with him and wouldn't have to clean the hall and also wouldn't be kicked out of his gym class and prom by Cash uncle. She really do blame herself and really feel like beating herself.
