SIBLINGS: Forbidden Love

Anna sighed "I will go" she accepted and veronica smiled before reaching for her purse and handing her some money along with the list. Anna went upstairs and got her headphone, she is prepared to walk to the store, that will make the time go faster and it will also strengthen her weak bones.

She walked out of the house with the headphone on her head and a blaring music in her ear. Jason always warned her about walking in street with a blaring music in her ear for safety purposes, so that she could be able to hear the horn when she wants to cross the street and again to be able to know when someone is talking to her. But Jason is not here, she thought. She hadn't seen him since after breakfast.

He had left with his friends like he always do on Sundays and that always make her Sundays boring, although he did took her to the movies yesterday like he promised but she just can't get enough of his presence. He has friends that he spends his time with whereas she has none. Not like the girls don't want to make friends with her, they do, but she is the one that hardly calls them. Lila had called her today that they were going on a picnic but she had rejected, she thought Jason might be at home today and at the end he wasn't and now she is a little bit regretting not accepting Lila's invitation.

Passing a coffee shop, the scent of muffin got her to look up, she looked through the glass at the shop and saw a very familiar smile, she can never forget that smile "what is Jason doing here?" She asked herself. She pushed open the door and got in, fair enough, she saw Jason with his friends and then Megan and her cousin, Courtney.

Why is Courtney with Jason? She pretended to go order a coffee and acted surprise when she saw them "Jason!"

Jason turned at the mention of his name and smiled when he saw her "baby sis. What are you doing here?"

Anna shrugged "mom asked me to get some groceries so I decided to grab a coffee. I didn't expect to see you here. What are you doing here?" She asked the question in her mind.

Jason smiled and his teammates laughed "oh Anna, guess what, Jason finally break his law" Josh said.

Anna furrowed her brows, which law? She don't seem to understand and the guys laughed "don't worry Anna, we know you don't understand, so I'm going to make it clear for you. Jason finally has a girlfriend" Peirce revealed.

Anna's heart seized beating for some seconds as she looked at her brother, her eyes subconsciously glanced at Courtney who was beaming in smiles "oh, that's nice" she smiled, she has to act supportive after all, whenever she has a new boyfriend, he is always supportive only that she always get boyfriend to break up with them in order to spend the night in his arms. She can't believe that her worse nightmare has finally come to pass.

Jason smiled and grabbed her hand, pulling her closer to him "thank you sis."

Anna nodded, she can't stay any more minute "I have to go now. Mom is waiting for me."

"What about your coffee?" Jason asked with a frown.

"Oh, yes, I think I will leave that for now. You see, I have been stalling a lot and I'm pretty sure mom is losing it right now, so I need to ...you know" she smiled and waved goodbye to them and turned in time to hide her tear.

Jason watched her leave and he felt his heart hurt, he didn't want to have a girlfriend but what she said the other day got in his mind, it will really be nice to have her console him won't it? He stare at the door for a few more seconds and got up, the guys looked at him with a raised eyebrow "I think I should follow her, it's getting late already so I need to get going anyway."

"But dude, we discussed going to the movies" James complained.

"I went to the movies yesterday, you guys were the ones who didn't show up. So how is that my fault?" Jason retorted.

"Yea, I told you Sofie and I went to her friend's birthday" James answered.

"Not my fault. Listen guys, do you notice Anna had headphone with her?"

"Yea"

"I know her, I'm pretty sure the volume is in max, so I need to go warn her again, like I always do. See you guys tomorrow at school" he smiled to Courtney "I will call you."

"I will be expecting that" she replied with a smile. Jason waved goodbye to his friends and dashed out the door. He looked ahead and saw Anna walking slowly and he smiled. What will he do to have her? He watched the way she was taking her step one at a time and smiled. He started walking up to her and saw a lady talking to her, maybe asking for direction but she didn't respond to the woman and he knew he was right, he headphone volume is in max. He shook his head and ran to her.

Anna was lost in thought, she heard a woman talked to her but she can't even make out what she was saying. Her heart bleeds, finally, he has a girlfriend, now he will kiss her, touch her, even sleep with her. He has come of age, he is eighteen, a legal adult and allowed to do what he wants and she is just fifteen. Just why is fate cruel to her? Why do this to her? There are a lot of boys to fall in love with, why her brother? Lost in thought, she suddenly felt someone grab her hand and she squirmed. She looked to see the face that owns her heart, the smile that always force itself into her thoughts.

He was speaking but she couldn't hear what he was saying and wondered if he was playing games with her and only moving his lips. It was not until he touched his ear that she remembered the headphone. busted she thought but that is the least of her worries now. She turned off the music and then looked at him, he had a fake frown on his face "how many times will I tell you not walk in the street with the headphone so loud?" He asked.

"I'm sorry, I just...you know what, forget it. I'm sorry" she forced herself to smile.

"It's not about being sorry Anna, it's about not repeating it. This is not the first time I have warned you about this and yet, here you are" he tried to argue or stay mad at her but he just can't.

"I'm sorry" she repeated and he released a weak sigh.

"It's okay, let me have it" he opened his palm and she placed the head phone there, he hung it on his neck and grabbed her hand, pulling her into a work with him.

Anna tried her best to keep her hand from shivering, his palm is so warm and it's not helping with how her body responds to his touch. She is sure she was perfectly warm a minute ago and now her body is heating up, burning, especially the hand he is holding. They got to the grocery and she handed him the lists. They bought everything and then left.

"Let's take a cap, it's getting late" he said and she nodded while he stopped a cap. They got to their home to hear their mom in the kitchen.

"Its that you Anna?" Veronica called from the kitchen.

"Yes mom" she answered and Veronica looked up and surprised to see Jason.

"Why, you are home early" she said and he smiled.

"Bumped into Anna on her way to the store, decided to come home with her" he replied.

"That's good of you. Did you get everything?" She looked at Anna and she nodded "well, let's get to work then, your dad will be home soon" she took the bags from them and started emptying them while Anna and Jason went to rinse their hands in the sink in order to help her with the cooking.

Samuel had a nice evening meal with his family, he set to watch his game as always with is wife in his arms. Jason stared at how lovely they look and his heart hurt. He will really love to have that, a peaceful family filled with love and with his children around him. He sighed because he doubt if he could ever have that in his life, after all, the girl he so much love is his sister, who will allow two siblings to get married, that will only be less hurting if his sister actually feel the same way with him.

"I need to do my maths homework" Anna said getting up, watching her parents being so loving, it breaks her heart "goodnight mom, goodnight dad. Goodnight Jason."

"Good night love" Veronica replied and got up to kiss her head.

"Goodnight sugar" said Samuel with a loving smile.
