SIBLINGS: Forbidden Love

They went in search of a plate identical to the one that Anna broke in the morning later in the day, thankfully they found it without searching much, Jason paid for it and they decided to head back home when they couldn't think of where else to go "will you slow down?" Anna pulled him to a stop while trying to catch her breath.

"Tired already?" He laughed "come on, let's hurry up."

"Why are you rushing to get back home anyway?" She asked with a frown and Jason only smirked, causing Anna to roll her eyes when she read his meaning "you got to be kidding me."

"No I'm not, I don't understand it, I just don't seem to get enough" he looked at her "maybe it's your fault."

"My fault? Exactly how is it my fault?"

Jason smiled and kissed her forehead, he had wanted to kiss her lips but they were still outside, someone might recognize them "maybe because you are too sexy" he whispered in her ear.

Anna wanted to shout at him, she wanted to act angry but she couldn't stop the blush that covered her cheeks and she ended up looking away shyly. Jason smiled at her blushing and grabbed her hand in his again and started on their way home. Anna pulled him to a stop yet again "if you are that tired, we can take a cab" Jason suggested.

"No, not me this time, look" she pointed forward with her chin and Jason followed only to see his old time buddies coming out of a shop.

"Wow, they are around, I can't believe I never thought about seeing them since I came back" he then looked at Anna "well it's your fault, you occupied most of my thoughts."

Anna rolled her eyes at him again "will you ever stop blaming me for everything?"

"Not really, cause it's true" he smiled.

"Jason" he heard and turned to see Josh and Peirce approaching them with a smile, they have undergone physical changes just like him. They pulled Jason into a group brotherly hug and Jason must admit, he was really happy to see them "you are around. Since when?" Josh asked.

"A day before Thanksgiving" he answered.

"Dude and you didn't bother to tell us, it's been four days since Thanksgiving now and you didn't call us, don't you want to see us?" Pierce inquired.

"I'm sorry, it's not like that. I did have in mind to call you guys but then dad left a day after Thanksgiving and mom three days after, I was stuck at home looking after Anna" Jason explained.

Josh and Pierce looked at Anna then and she had to stop herself from rolling her eyes at Jason's blame again "well how do Anna, it's been a while" smiled Josh.

"Yea, last I saw her was during her graduation" Peirce commented before looking at Jason "why didn't you come back? Your sister was a goddess that day, but she didn't look happy and I figured it had to do with you. You know, you have never miss anything important in her life before, and it must be difficult to go on without you."

"I had upcoming exams so I couldn't travel. I apologized to her though and she understands."

"Well, it's good to have you back bro. When will you be travelling back?" Asked Josh.

"Next week."

"I bumped into Megan yesterday, I didn't know she was in town. She is the one that told me you were in town and we were just on our way to your place" Josh said.

"He was actually talking about how he was going to give you a punch straight to the face" Pierce revealed.

"Hey" Josh tried to stop him but he had already said everything.

"Really? Why?" Jason asked.

"Why you came back and didn't call me" Josh admitted.

Jason covered his face with his hand "thank heaven you didn't meet me at home then" he replied and they laughed.

"How about some catching up dude, there is a slumber party at Christy place tonight. You remember Christy?" Pierce asked.

Jason looked to be in thought "yea, Christy the one that use to leave love letters in my locker, right?'

"Exactly. She found out most of our classmates are in town and decided to hold a get together party, of course with her boyfriend this time, so don't think you still have a chance" Josh teased.

"Believe me, I'm not even interested" Jason revealed.

Josh and Pierce laughed "we know actually, just wanted to pull your legs" Josh said "Hey where were you two going anyway?"

"Home. We came out to get a plate."

"Oh, so you coming for the party?" He inquired.

Jason looked at her Anna with a raised eyebrow and she nodded "yea, we will be there."

"Okay then, see you guys there. Should I pick you up?" Josh asked.

"No need, mom left her car, dad too" Jason smiled.

"Okay then, see you around. But dude you still owe us. We will come see you tomorrow" Josh said while walking away with Pierce. Jason waved them goodbye before turning to Anna when they were gone a good distance.

"You sure you are up for the party?" He asked.

"Yea. It will take us out of home" she sighed and then looked at him "so Christy use to crush on you?"

"A lot of girls in my class use to crush on me but too bad for them, my sister won me over first" he smiled and Anna covered his mouth.

"Hey not so loud" she cautioned but still couldn't conceal her blush and the joy that flushed through her. Jason laughed and stopped a cab to take them home.

Jason pulled over in front of Christy's house, the house was already bustling with activities with couples trooping in and out. Jason was surprised at how many of his old classmates were in town, he got down from the car and helped Anna out too. They were walking to the porch when he saw two familiar silhouettes and stopped.

Megan and Courtney walked up to them then "hi Jason, hi Anna" Megan greeted.

"Hi" was all Anna said.

"Hey Megan. I didn't know you were in town Courtney" Jason commented.

"I just arrived last evening, Megan didn't even know I was coming. How has life been with you?"

"Cool. How is school?"

"Cool."

"Okay then, see you guys later" Jason dismissed themselves and walked into the house with Anna by his side.

Megan followed after them "em Jason, can I talk to you?" She inquired.

"Sure" he answered and released Anna from his hold "I will be back" he said to her to which she nodded. He walked a few distances away from her with Megan "what's up?"

"Um, can I ask you for a favour?"

"Sure, shoot."

"Um, you see, Courtney still don't know I was the one that invited you home that day. And it helped that when she came downstairs, I wasn't around. When I came back, she was like why didn't I inform her you were around or better still delay you downstairs but then I had gotten away by saying that I wasn't around and didn't even know you came around. If she is to know that I called you, it might ruin our relationship and I don't want that, so do you think, you can help me keep this little secret...please?"

"Don't worry, it's safe with me" he promised.

"Phew" Megan heaved a sigh of relief before smiling "thanks, I didn't know we will bump into you here, if I did, I wouldn't have invited her but I'm still glad I let you on it should you see her somewhere else."

"Sure, I doubt if our discussion will even lead to that" Jason commented.

"Well, you never can tell" she said.

"Yea. Okay then, see you later, I need to get back to Anna now."

"Sure, no problem. See you later."

"Yea" he replied and walked back to Anna who had just been watching them.

"Why did she call you out?"

"Nothing serious, just want to ask me for a favour."

"Mind if I ask what it is?"

Jason looked at her and smiled "it's a secret, it won't be a secret anymore if I tell you."

"But I won't tell anybody."

"It still won't be a secret anymore if I tell you" Jason insisted and Anna pouted.

"Fine, suit yourself."

Jason laughed "I will tell you later" he whispered in her ear before looking into her eyes, he really felt the impulse to kiss her then but had to control himself, he bit his lip and looked away from her, too bad he won't be able to be kissing her in public but, the time alone he spends with her at home is worth it.

"Jason" they heard and turned to see a pretty blonde walking up them "I didn't know you were in town."

"Hey Christy, how have you been?"

"I'm cool. Hey Anna."

"Hey Christy, long time."

"Yea" she looked at Jason "how did you know I was throwing a party?"

"Well, Pierce told me. Sorry I showed up uninvited."

"Are you kidding? If I had known you were around, I would have invited you myself. One thing you should know Jason, you are always welcome here, for crying out loud, you are still my first crush!"
