SIBLINGS: Forbidden Love

They were both silent, in truth they didn't want to but who is their mother? There is no way they are not going to press charges with her around "Jason what were you doing that this happened to your sister? If I am correct, you are possibly the one who took her to that party and then you leave her to fend for herself, how can you do that?" Veronica almost shouted at Jason.

"Mom, it was not his fault, I was the one that wandered off and if he hadn't looked for me when he did, we might be taking about a different matter now" Anna rushed to his defense.

"Really, so you are telling me now to clap for you? You went to a party with your brother and instead of sticking to his side, you went wandering off."

"Mom I was the one that got a little carried away in a game with friends, I should have had my eyes on her" Jason tried to defend her too and Veronica looked at the two of them, had she forgotten how they both behave? Shout on this one and the other will take the blame, shout on that one and the other one will still take the blame and it will go on and on like that till you get tired. She sighed and decided to drop the issue.

"You are lucky I didn't tell your dad, he would have been here already and guess how he would react if he had to leave his job to come here, trust me, you don't want to know" Veronica said.

And they both really don't want to know, their dad might be gentle and easy going, hardly engage in any argument, but you really don't want to see him angry.

Anna was discharged later in the day and they all went home but not without Christy apologizing to her again. They got home and Jason rushed up to his room to have a shower and Anna same while Veronica went into the kitchen to make dinner, she was planning to come back today anyway only that Jason's call hurried her up.

They all settled for dinner later in the dinning table, each silently eating their food when Jason broke the silent "I have to go back to school mom, classes started yesterday and I have already missed yesterday and today and also going to miss tomorrow."

"Oh" Veronica said "I'm sorry about that, guess I will book a flight for you tomorrow then or will you want to leave this night?"

He looked at Anna and noticed the moisture in her eyes and sighed "no, tomorrow will be better."

"I thought the same too" she looked at Anna "will you be leaving today or tomorrow too?"

"School is nearby, I can always go anytime" Anna replied.

"That's true. Well, guess I will call your dad and tell him you will be leaving tomorrow and Jason, you are not staying away for Christmas this year, understand?"

Jason smiled "without being told. I will be around mom."

"Good" Veronica replied. They finished the rest of the dinner in silent and Jason did the dishes. They all sat in the living room to watch the regular shows.

"Good night mom" Jason said after watching a favourite TV show "goodnight Anna" He stood up.

"Good night son."

"Good night" Anna replied and Jason climbed the stairs to his room.

Three minutes later, Anna said her own goodnight to their mom and went upstairs too. She thought about going to Jason's room but decided against it, their mom is around, she can't risk her knowing about them and moreover if Jason wants to see her, he will send for her or come to her. She walked into her room and just then, she felt a strong arm encircle her waist and another on her mouth to muffle her scream which truth be told, would have been loud without the hand on her mouth.

"If you want to risk us being caught, then you are free to scream" Jason whispered in her ear and she shut up immediately "good girl" he smiled and released her mouth and she turned to face him.

"How was I supposed to know you are here?"

"Is that why it took you long enough to come up?"

"You have been in my room since you came up?"

"You don't think I will be leaving tomorrow without seeing you do you?"

"Well, mom is around, I figured it won't be possible."

Jason smiled and wiped away some strands of hair from her face "we will always find a way" with that he crushed her in his arms "I will miss you, so much more now."

"Ditto" she replied, even though she felt like she is being crushed in his arms, she hugged him back in the same strength.

Jason released her abruptly "mom is coming up. I will be back after she says her goodnight" with that he dashed out of the room. Anna could hear the sound of approaching footsteps then and climbed into her bed, she covered herself with the duvet and shut her eyes tightly.

The door was pushed open and Veronica stepped into the room, she walked directly to Anna's bed and kissed her forehead "sweet dreams baby" she whispered before covering her legs with the duvet and walking out of the room. Anna knew she was heading to Jason's room and quietly count 123...

50 she counted when her door was opened again and Jason walked in and jumped into the bed beside her, she flipped to face him and snuggled into his arms immediately. He gave a throaty chuckle at that before putting his arms around her "it took you fifty count to get here" she pouted.

"That was fast, I thought I delayed more."

Anna tilt her head up to look at him in surprise "you are saying?"

"Counting to fifty is equivalent to fifty seconds, right?"

"No, I was slow, not counting with seconds."

"Oh" he replied and placed a feather kiss on her lips "I will miss you like hell, I thought we were going to have today to ourselves before mom gets back and then that happened."

"Me too" she sighed "Jason?"

"Hmm?"

"You are not going to look for another girl now right?"

Jason had to force himself from laughing out loud but a few haha left his mouth before he covered his mouth with his hand. He looked at the pretty girl in his arms and smiled, his hand caressed her chin "I didn't look for a girl when I haven't got you, and it's now that my dream is fulfilled that I will leave you? Anna, I love you and that is not about to change. To be honest, I think this two days of knowing you love me and being with you has actually increased my love for you."

Anna smiled then and kissed him "me too, and I think it's going to drive me crazy."

Jason smiled and kissed her then "ditto."

"What do you think will happen if we are not siblings?" Anna asked.

"It's simple, I will marry you" Jason stated.

Anna smiled at that "and I would have shouted 'yes'" he chuckled at that, kissed her forehead and then the truth of the matter hit him.

"What do you say...we elope?" Jason suggested.

Anna's eyes widened in shock "Jason!"

"I'm serious" he heaved a sigh "I can't bear seeing you with another man now. That story you told me that day about the two siblings that fell in love, I don't want our case to be like that, I don't want to ever stop loving you and I doubt if I could do that anyway."

"I made that up you know. I just composed the story in my mind and told you to know what your reaction would be."

"What?"

Anna smiled "yea, I ended it like that because I believed that's how things are going to end up with us, mom and dad sending you to go live with uncle Sean in Austria."

"Damn, that story hunted me for long and I keep on telling myself that if I have the opportunity to get you to love me, I'm never going to let you go."

"Mom and dad will never support our union, talk about the world then. In as much as I want to be with you, I won't like living the rest of my life with the knowing that mom and dad are angry with us."

Jason inhaled and exhaled deeply "you are right, I guess I'm thinking too much" he gave a light chuckle "but if there is one thing I know is that I will never stop loving you."

"Nor I you" Anna replied. Jason kissed her then and she wrapped her hands on his neck, he let his hands wander on her body before unbuttoning her shirt. Anna let him undress her and she helped him undress too, they locked their lips together and let their desire consume them.

Jason sneaked out of Anna's room late in the night when she was already asleep, they had ended their love making a long time ago but Anna refused him to leave, she asked him to stay till she fall asleep. He fell on his bed and was already missing the feel of the girl he just left in his arms, he shut his eyes and tried to think less of her or if not, he will be heading back to her room in the next second.

Jason was escorted to the airport the next day by Anna and Veronica, they stayed with him in the airport till his flight was ready to depart, he hugged Anna then and whispered in her ear "I love you and I will always call" she nodded to him and they waved him goodbye before he left to search for his seat number.
