Since 1981 Health School

Chapter 13: Who is more important, money or status?

Chapter 13 Money and Status Who Matters

Chen Qi came to Cangqiaozhi Street and found the noodle stall run by the old couple.

There are only two tables in the noodle shop. The old couple are both in their sixties, but they look clean. They are probably retired old employees of a state-owned restaurant.

Although the policy has been a little more open these days, hiring workers is still an absolute forbidden zone. Anyone who violates the law will die, and only one family is allowed to do it.

There are not so many types of noodles. For Yangchun noodles, only the noodles are sprinkled with green onion and it costs 30 cents. The shredded pork noodles cost 7 cents, which is indeed a bit expensive.

And it’s not like in a state-run restaurant, where the food is calculated by two or two, here is a bowl, what if there is not enough food? Go ahead and have another bowl.

Chen Qi asked for a bowl of shredded pork noodles, and added 30 cents extra shredded pork. He was full just now, and now he must eat more in revenge.

But when he sat down, he found that all the people at the same table ordered "oil residue noodles", and he was the only one who ordered shredded pork noodles.

Chen Qi shrugged his shoulders, thinking that the taste of Yuezhong people is really different. They don’t eat good meat, but do they like to eat oily residue? This is full of cholesterol, which is not healthy.

After eating and drinking enough, Chen Qi slowly wandered around Yuezhong City.

Think of it as visiting Hengdian Film and Television City and doing an in-depth experience tour.

At this time, in Yuezhong City, there are street lights on Jiefang Road, which is a bit more lively. Other places are full of dark lights, and there is nothing to go shopping at night, and all the shops are closed.

The roadside is full of urbanites enjoying the shade, a bamboo chair, a banana fan, and slapping it twice from time to time to drive away mosquitoes.

Seeing that there was nothing to go shopping, Chen Qi just saw a guest house in front of him, so Chen Qi walked in.

In front of the counter, a young man was reading a novel with his head down. When he saw a customer coming in, he didn't raise his head or greet him.

"Hello comrade, I want to open a room."

   "Letter of introduction."

   "A letter of introduction?"

The salesperson at the counter raised his head: "No letter of introduction? What kind of hostel do you live in without a letter of introduction? Walk around, wasting time."

Chen Qi became angry for a while, and was deeply depressed again. He really wanted to swear in his heart, NND I can’t do it even if I have money? Why are you so angry every day?

At any rate, he was well-bred, but he was sulking and didn't scold back.

At the door, there were a few grandpas enjoying the shade playing chess under the street lights. When they saw Chen Qi coming out of the guest house with a livid face, they joked:

"Young man, it's useless to complain. In today's society, you still have to look for a job in a serious manner. Once you have a job, you have a work permit, and the unit will issue you a certificate. Only in this way can you be respected and not want to live alone. The guest house also depends on the face of the person."

Ganqing, these uncles treated him as an idler.

If he didn’t speak the local dialect of Yuezhong, he probably would have reported it to the neighborhood committee.

Walking on the road, thinking about what the old man said just now, Chen Qi suddenly had a kind of understanding.

The times are different. In later generations, money is the most important thing. If you have money, you are a man. Money can buy everything, including a night of "love".

But in 1981, money was not everything, and even having too much money could bring you disaster.

Since he was reborn in this era, he can only live according to the rules of the game in this era. Thinking of this, Chen Qi took out that magical scalpel.

"It seems that being a loser is not the best choice, you should study honestly, and be a doctor is the right way."

In the streets in 1981, there were no bathrooms, no all-night Internet cafes, and the train station and bus station were closed in the middle of the night.

So I have to find a place to stay tonight.

Chen Qi suddenly thought that the "Yuezhong District Medical School" he was studying in was located in the urban area. He had a dormitory, so what if he stayed for a few nights during the summer vacation?

So he quickened his pace and walked towards the Bazi Bridge.

Vietnam Medical School is the only medical technical secondary school in the Viet Central region, with a 4-year schooling system.

The technical secondary school students in the 1970s and 1980s were quite awesome. After graduation, they were directly assigned to the "cadre establishment" by the state.

In hospitals at this time, whether it is doctors or nurses, including professional and technical personnel such as pharmacy inspections, many of them are not professionally trained, but enter the hospital as their parents.

Believe it or not, an ordinary junior high school student, or primary school student, with no medical background at all, can also enter the hospital.

At that time, I will train you for three and a half months. Once you put on a white coat, you can go directly to the outpatient clinic to see patients. It doesn’t matter if you are reliable or not. If there are many doctors who die, you will naturally have experience.

Thus, technical secondary school students who graduated from health schools are assigned to major hospitals in Vietnam and Central China after graduation, and they are all trained as business backbones. The status of technical secondary school students is still very popular.

There are also college students who graduated from medical schools, but the number of college students allocated to the major hospitals in Vietnam and Central China is not large every year, and they are basically intercepted by the largest people's hospital.

Who told me that there are too few medical graduates these days.

The location of the Yuezhong Medical School is located near the Bazi Bridge in the urban area. The school site was originally rebuilt from the house of a wealthy businessman before liberation.

Chen Qi came to the gate of the school. Coincidentally, the gatekeeper, Uncle Wang, was enjoying the cool at the gate.

Don’t underestimate Uncle Wang, he is a regular worker in the school, with a long service life, and it is said that his salary is higher than that of the principal.

"Uncle Wang, why don't you enjoy the shade?"

"Hey, isn't this Chen Qi, the squad leader? I remember that your home is not on the Keqiao side. Why did you come to school at night?"

Chen Qi pretended to be a good baby, scratching his head:

"Uncle Wang, I came to a relative's house in the urban area. It's not that the house is too small and there is no place to sleep. I wonder if I can open the back door and let me live in the dormitory?"

"Ah, living in a dormitory, but this school has regulations. During the summer vacation, students..."

Before he finished speaking, Chen Qi hurriedly handed over six peaches, and then folded his hands together, making a gesture of begging for mercy.

"Ahem, well, you are a student of our school and the class monitor. It's really not safe to be out alone at night, okay, then you can go to your own dormitory, but the door is closed, and the key is in the General Affairs Department. You have to climb through the window."

When Chen Qi heard it, he was overjoyed and said, "Thank you, Uncle Wang."

He didn't just stay for one night, but planned to stay for a few more nights. After all, there are so many souvenirs in the space, and only a small part of them were sold today.

Chen Qi came to the dormitory with ease and jumped in from the window.

During the summer vacation, the whole school was empty, and there was no one there. Chen Qi washed the straw mat under the faucet in the toilet, and cleaned the dormitory again.

In the end, because there was no change of clothes, I could only run naked to the shower room to flush cold water, and then washed the clothes to dry them.

After finishing everything, the naked Chen Qi climbed onto the bed in his dormitory, put his hands behind his head, and began to fantasize that he was rich and wanted to buy something for his eldest sister and younger siblings.

Before I knew it, I fell asleep again...
