Chapter 5 – Buddy

“Phew, the orc meat was delicious.”

Is takamine’s power really Sojutsu? (TN: Another word for Spearmanship, thought it sounded better) How was she fighting before she got a spear?
I guess it is possible that she picked it up from a corpse of an orc.
Well it’s curiousity kills the cat so I’m just going to accept her words at truth.

My physical ability has clearly improved after I leveled up and I can defeat the goblins much easier. However, it’s getting harder to level up by killing goblins.

“My kitchen knife is not working as good but it’s probably just wear and tear”

I say that while I throw a big stone at a goblin and finish it off with a kitchen knife.

“What?”

A group of goblins appear in the building in front of me. It looks to be a group of ten, but there seems to be a goblin who is larger than the rest.

“Is that a hobgoblin?”

I thought about whether to fight or not, but decided to retreat as I didn’t think I could win against a group. However, the goblins had different ideas.
One of the goblins notices me.

One of the goblins ran over.

I generate soil at the feet of the goblin but the goblin just tramples over it and doesn’t fall.

I start running away as hard as I can while saying that. Most goblins use their bare fists but this group was armed with random stuff they found on the ground.

“Well, you goblins throw too much but Japan has a lot of dangerous things.”

As buildings were collapsing everywhere, there were a lot of things to throw.

a stone is produced from the hand and thrown at the goblin that is chasing. the stone which suddenly came from a sudden is received to the body, and it turns over.

just one has fallen, and nearly ten are still chasing them. however, eito pulled away little by little faster than the goblin.
hideto, who finally sprinkles a flock of goblins, sits slowly on the ground.

“tomorrow you’d better go to collect weapons, and speaking of modern weapon shops… it’s a home improvement center!”

eito decided to go to the home improvement center tomorrow to get various things with weapons.
then, on my way back home, i found a dog lying limply. it seems that there is still a puppy and there is no parent dog around.

when i said that and gave them the remaining two, the dog should have eaten in an instant.
i’m feeling better when i ate three bananas, or i’m in good spirits.

eito hugs the dog by the cuteness.

you’re already my child!

it says so, and the dog’s face is swathing. the dog is squealing happily.

“i have to name it.”

when the dog is turned over, it is not attached. it seems to be a female apparently.

“i ate bananas, and bananas… isn’t that really the way it is? let’s make nana! regards, nana!!”

it says so, and nana is stroked.

“wahoo!” he said.

nana is also happy to wag her tail.

nana, tomorrow is early, shall we go to bed now?
