9th floor, in the stairway.

"That woman doesn't have a gun but I definitely saw that she still got a lot more of knives that is stored in the pockets all over her legs. She's probably an expert of throwing and she's probably together with those shitty terrorists. We got to capture her immediately or else the people in here will be in much danger." Officer Dole said in a hurry.

"Wow. You became smarter this time ah? Anyways, do you have your knife?" Inspector Wright asked.

"Yeah. I found it in front of the chapel in the VIP floor. You have yours right?"

"Of course."

"Nice. Let's go."

After their calm and casual-like conversation, Officer Dole ran forward then he ducked and slid down towards the other corridor. He dodged the knife that was thrown by the woman into him when he ducked.

Inpector Wright was the next one to show himself up. He slowly turned sidewards to see the woman then he blocked the knife that was flying fast towards him by shoving it with his own knife.

The woman was shocked for a moment and when she finally came to his senses, a knife was already been thrown towards her face but she dodged it in the nick of time.

Officer Dole ran towards to the woman when his partner threw a knife to her. His hands almost caught the woman before she threw another knife that wounded his legs and made him took a few steps back.

Inspector Wright didn't just sit back as he took another knife that was thrown into him earlier and threw it again in the direction of the woman.

The woman blocked the knife with a dagger that she was currently holding, and catched it when it was about to fall. She suddenly tossed the knife to her left side where the elevator's push button was located when the elevator sign was written with the same number as the floor their currently in.

The two officers glanced at each other for a second before they immediately ran towards the woman when they learned about her plan of escaping.

The woman didn't just stand and wait for them to catch her up as she throw all her knives towards them one by one trying to pushed then away while she was walking slowly towards the unopened elevator.

She noticed that the two officers were barely being held back because they were dodging and blocking her knives so she was slightly worried but when the elevator finally opened, her lips arched upwards then she quickly ran towards inside it.

Officer Dole and Inspector Wright followed immediately but the elevator was already closing when they are still quite far from its reach.

The woman did a hand sign that said a farewell to them, then the elevator was finally closed.

Officer Dole threw a knife but it didn't make it in time.

"DAMN IT!"

Ten minutes earlier.

Liam opened his eyes slowly. He found himself kneeling while his hands were tied up and it seemed that he can't also move it anywhere.

The first thing he saw in his surroundings was destroyed furnitures, scattered debris and fragments, and dismembered human bodies.

The dozens of burnt and disrupted bodies that was lying all over the floor made Liam shut his eyes from shock.

Only the inhuman and cold-blooded people could do this to the innocents.

Just as he was about to think of a way to get out from his tied hands, a man suddenly walked in front of him.

Liam saw a guy with an above-average looks wearing a fedora. He was also holding a dagger.

'Another terrorist? He must be a guy under the terrorist I fought earlier. What are they into?'

"Hm? Didn't I carved your face with a knife earlier? Or did it not made a contact to the skin? I didn't feel it but it bleed right? Or was it from the wounds on your head? ah. Why do I even care? But..." The fedora guy said, bothered by himself.

Liam was speechless when the guy started to talk to himself. He soon realized what the guy was talking about. It was because his 'Regeneration' skill activated and healed some wounds and injuries on him.

Although it was only a few minutes of him being unconcious, his fractured bones and internal injuries had already been healed so he can moved his body, but because he still have some wounds and other more injuries outside his body besides the cut in his face that unkowingly healed his body suffered every twitch it made.

A few moments passed but the guy was somehow still talking to himself.

"This guy here is crazy." He said inwardly as he was still looking at the man in front of him.

The fedora guy's mouth came to a halt then he moved his head to Liam and formed a serious expression. The aura from him changed entirely. It was there was another person that possesed his body.

"Hm? You're currently awake right? Strange. No normal young man could possibly wake up a few minutes after being walloped in the face and getting pounded to the wall. It sure is strange." The guy said with confusion in his tone but with a serious face.

"Also I have a good surprise for you. Hold up a second, it will be great. Wait for it." The guy changed again and he was obviously excited as he immediately leave Liam alone.

Liam wasn't stupid enough to really wait for the guy as he immediately opened the system and checked the notification as soon as the fedora guy leaved his sight.

He was finding all the notication that either increases his attributes or level him up.

He accepted all the attributes that he received from completing some unknown task, that he didn't even checked once after getting the system, or from rewards.

He read the skill distribution points first and was surprised of how many points he has.

How lucky he was!

He read the new skill next and was surprised once again.

The skills he got are really deadly but awesome!

He would not say it out loud because his mind became a genius that acts like a prison wall to his emotions, but deep inside his heart, he was truly happy. His face even brightened up a little.

He immediately chose the 'Fiery Punch' skill to be leveled up. He can't still use it for the next 20 minutes so he was hoping that if he let it get an upgrade, its cooldown would decrease.

His lips curled upwards and he didn't even realized it.

'10 minutes more and I can escape those guys.'

Liam was already planning something but he felt uneasiness as he was thinking.

'Why do I feel this uneasiness? Am I forgetting something?'

As he was thinking, a loud footstep suddenly rang in the hall like it was here to answer his question.

Liam widened his eyes when he felt a presence of three people near him.

'It was the guy earlier, but who are the two.'

Even though he can't see the presence visibly but he can feel them and familiariaze himself when he focused on it so he knew that the first person who was walking was the fedora guy earlier.

'But why do the other two feels familiar?'

The other two were somehow also felt familiar to him.

He focused his hearing when they were so close and he could here that one of them is definitely being pulled.

A thought suddenly came to his mind. A frightening but a possible thought.

His heart slightly beat faster when it came to him and the uneasiness were also getting stronger from every second.

'No. It's definitely not him.'

TAP! TAP!

The fedora guy walked and turned towards him. He smiled and moved his head forward.

"HERE IS YOUR SURPRISE! FUAHAHAHA! Hey! Toss him! Scarface!" The fedora guy said while still giggling.

THUD!

The bulky guy with a scarface threw a lifeless body in front of Liam.

Liam just glanced at the face of the man who has been thrown for a second and his mind already recognized it.

"!"

He widened his eyes in utter shock.

He saw his best friend, Ian, lying on the floor with a bruise and wounds on his face and some cuts in his c.h.e.s.t.

Liam's face darkened. He can't think straight anymore after seeing Ian's current state.

Sure, his injuries were not as severe as Liam but still, he would never let his best friend get hurt just like what he promised to himself.

"huah. Don't worry. He isn't dead. We just beat him so bad that he fainted. PFFT! Right Scarface? fu.. fu.. FUAHAHAHA! I remembered his face! HAHA!..." The fedora guy said, feeling a strange happiness inside him.

"HAHA... haa.. haa. We... we asked him some very important but simple question. He didn't answer but luckily you came. 'cause I almost killed him. hehehe. I also almost killed you with my dagger but damn! This friend of yours spit a blood on me. Do you believe that? So we can to the bathroom, scarface pulled him inside, beat him up without answering, and, and FUAHAHAHA!"

Every single words he released from his mouth made Liam's mind get more and more chaotic.

Angry, Sad, Grim, Sorrow, Fear, Sympathy. Or every negative emotions that exists was lurking inside him.

But somehow one emotion dwelled stronger than the others.

All the definition of grim was filling Liam.

Wether it was his appearance or his feelings.

Liam was grimmer than ever and you can tell just by looking at his widened cold-still eyes and his frightening darkened face.

Scarface stopped looking at his laughing leader and focused his attention to the tied kid.

He felt a chill when he looked at him although he can't see his face or eyes because he bent down.

He decided to walk towards him and check his condition. He thought the kid was crying because he saw his friend beat up.

When he was near the kid, his legs suddenly moves.

He put out one foot first and the other foot next. Like a hammer, his legs looks tough and heavy when it came out.

The fedora guy stopped laughing and gaze at the kid he tied with a thick rope just a few minutes ago.

"Hm? Is he planning to get out of that? A thick rope that is tied on a thick metal? What a stupid kid." The fedora guy said with a look of disgust.

"It seems like it. But how can you change your personality so fast? I thought it's when a problem occurs that disturbed your mental state then it will change."

"Huh? Oh... yeah. It is... like that. Strange. Is there... a problem?" The fedora guy said.

CLANG!

They both stopped talking to each and looked at the kid who was trying to stand up.

He was straigthening his legs but the rope was still tied to the metal bar.

Suddenly, his legs and arms became thicker.

Liam didn't know but he was unconsciously putting all his strength to his legs and arms.

CLANK!

Scarface and the fedora guy both watched the kid stand straight, they saw him do a miraculous scene.

He was bending a super thick metal by only his forced strength!

Liam continued to stand and get away from the metal. The thick metal was still bending and it looked like it was going to break anytime soon.

CLAANK!! SCREECH!

A sound of a metal rang through out the hall. Much louder than earlier.

Scarface and the fedora guy closed their eyes at the same time when they heard the screeching noise of the metal.

The fedora can't take it anymore so he tried to go to the strange kid and opened his eyes, but he saw nothing there.

PHWACK!

He immediately where the sound came from.

It was the kid punching and kicking Scarface at an incredible speed. Every hit was releasing a painful and echoing sound. It was obviously not a normal punch.

'I... didn't even notice him.'
