Snowflake: Frozen Child

"Hey Lurkia, how come you've gotten this small?" Haji asked Lurkia. The small white creature was munching his meal and not paying attention to the janix in front of him. They were done training and Haji was asking his egori if they could watch the sky together for the night. The sky was so beautiful that it made Haji sad. He needed someone to talk to.

"Hey, are you even listening to me?" Haji looked at Lurkia trying to make himself busy with his meal. The place outside the egori's cave was quiet wide and all you could see around at night were those hundreds of eyes glimmering in the dark. Watching them carefully as if they were waiting for Lurkia to just let them slay and eat Haji. But the good thing was Lurkia liked Haji even if he didn't tell him. Right after the cute little creature finished his meal, he went inside the cave and the other monstrous creatures were ready to attack Haji. Their growls and hungry voices echoed as their figures slowly revealing from the darkness. Haji heard something darting towards him and he found himself lying on the ground with a big Egori above him. Its size was as big as a lion and it has three snake heads. They had the same black eyes and its skin was as rough as an alligator's back. Its claws were holding the cover of Haji's sword tightly. The janix could feel Lurkia watching over him from the opening of his cave, currently not moving a bit.

"You little bitch! you're just gonna watch me die here with your a.s.s on that ground huh?! You watch me!!" Haji shouted at Lurkia and the egori just gave him that 'I-don't-give-a-shit' attitude and laid down on the ground like a cat watching some midnight horror movie.

"You're really not helping me?!" Haji shouted in disbelief as the hungry monster started biting the the covered sword above him. Haji saw Lurkia shrugged his heads and continued watching him as if it didn't really mattered to him at all if the janix would die there.

"I'm gonna teach you a lesson after this, arrogant egori!!"

Haji cursed in his mind. He tried pushing the three headed monster above him with his single hand and the other grabbing a handful of sands from the ground. He threw the sands into its eyes and it roared from the slight pain. The moment the monster lost its balance, Haji never wasted the chance to release his sword, throwing the cover on the ground and sliced one of its head. The egori roared in pain and smashed Haji on the ground. Haji fell on his back as he kept stabbing the monster above him in the stomach.

"You watch me! you damn bipolar egori!!" Haji shouted at Lurkia as the egori never flinched a bit. Haji kept stabbing the monster above until its blood showered  underneath him. He could taste bitter than natural coffee beans in his tongue as he gasped for air. He hurriedly crawled below the monster before it falls down on him. Haji walked towards his egori. Lurkia stood in front of him with his eight antenas standing straight.

"What now? Do you want to fight me?" Haji asked horribly, the monster's blood was dripping on his face down to his c.h.e.s.t. He was soaked with blood and he was hurt. Hurt because no matter what he do, the dangerous creature never listened to him. Lurkia transformed into his true form and spreaded his wings widely. Haji ducked to his surprise when the egori started breathing a huge fire and striked the wide field behind him. Though he was wearing his armor all the time, Haji still dodged the fire. He would never take the risk, specially when Lurkia was in a beast mode.

"Shit! Okay I'm sorry! I shouldn't have provoked you okay!" Haji shouted while covering his head with his arms. Lurkia looked down on Haji and returned into its cute form. The egori made a 'hmp!' sound before returning back inside the cave. Haji turned his head behind him and saw a lot of burnt egoris lying on the ground. Haji looked at them with his jaw dropped dead and realized how stupid he was for judging Lurkia.

"He just protected me from the wild egoris? He killed all of them at once!" Haji thought unbelievably. The janix secretly smiled at the thought that the egori reminded him of someone.

"Hey pal! wait up!" Haji called Lurkia but the egori continued flying inside the cave.

A MEMORY to recall that Haji left for Jhay: Where Jhay haven't met Joy and his adopted mother yet.

"Hey Jhay, do you sing?"

"No"

"Do you dance?"

"Never"

"How about-"

"Shut up, I'm trying to concentrate here" Jhay said. Haji was sitting on the balcony while strumming his guitar. He kept asking Jhay random questions and she usually gave him unclear answers. Jhay get easily annoyed and distracted that's why she kept saying harsh words to him. Haji was not the kind of a person who gets angry over silly things anyway, same with Damian. They already got used to Jhay being rude to them all the time.

"Hey Jhay" Haji said in the sweetest tone. Jhay almost tripped her paintbrush because Haji was being naughty again. Jhay hated that side of him, it gave Jhay false hopes.

"Didn't I tell you to shut your mouth up?" Jhay said angrily.

"I'm sorry" Haji said in a dramatic tone. He looked away and put his guitar inside the case. Jhay thought, "Have I gone too far?"

"I'm leavin, I'm not going to disturb you. Have a good time then, bye" Haji said and went outside of Jhay's room.

"Nah don't mind him, Jhay. He's just being moody. He'll get back to normal tommorow." Jhay said to herself.

The next day...

"Hi Jhay!" Damian greeted Jhay happily as he entered her room. Jhay looked around to see if Haji was with him. There was no sign of Haji's existence.

"Haji's not coming today" Damian stated. Jhay frowned with the sudden news.

"And why?" Jhay asked. Damian shrugged his shoulders and went to the living room. He grabbed some ch.i.p.s from the storage area and grabbed a can of soda. Jhay watched at how Damian got to behave like a pig freely inside their house as she sighed.

"Whatever" Jhay went to the living room and turned the TV on. They watched some movies and Jhay looked at her phone. No missed calls nor messages. Jhay frowned at her phone and she began to wonder if the signals have been bad lately.

Jhay thought, "He usually sends me texts whenever he's not coming over."

"Looking for someone?" Damian asked mischeviously as he stared at Jhay who was holding her phone tightly. Jhay could feel that the phone was going to break from her grip.

"Were you guys fighting?" Damian asked Jhay with a playful look. He shrugged his shoulders and went back to watch his so called movie.

"It's not like you're kids anymore. Kids even get along easily after a fight." He added.

"Way to go! Saint Damian!" Jhay chuckled and hit Damian a pillow on the head. Jhay picked up her phone and called Haji. After a ring or two, a girl answered the phone.

"Hello? Who is this?" the girl asked on the line. Jhay felt a sudden pain somewhere in her c.h.e.s.t when she heard the girl's voice.

"Uhm this is Jhay. Where's Haji?" Jhay said. The girl on the other line wasn't able to answer Jhay because she heard someone grabbed the phone and talked.

"Hey! it's me Haji- toot! toot!" Jhay ended the call and threw her phone at the back. The thing hit the wall and fell on the floor.

"Bullshit" Jhay cursed silently and ate the ch.i.p.s on Damian's hand. Damian flinched and looked at Jhay with a teasing smile.

"Did you hear something you shouldn't hear?" Damian teased Jhay .

"Shut up or I'll make you leave too" Jhay said calmly. Jhay's face was hot and she could feel her blood was slowly boiling inside of her.

She said to herself secretly, "Calm down Jhay, it was just a girl. Just a girl who happened to answer the phone while Haji wasn't around, there's nothing special about it."

"Don't worry, Jhay. Haji is still single plus..." Damian said and leaned towards Jhay and added "...if he's not I'm still here though hahaha!" Jhay covered Damian's face with her palm and pushed him away from her before she could torture him.

"I don't give a shit!" Jhay cursed and went directly to her room, shutting the door closed behind her. Luckily, Pherein wasn't at home and was currently at the supermarket.

"Hey Haji, you gotta have to come here right now" Jhay heard Damian talking to Haji on the phone. Few minutes later, Damian knocked on Jhay's door.

"Hey Jhay, I'll be going home for now. You just wait for Haji to come here! Bye!" Damian said before he left. Jhay heard Damian's footsteps slowly fading until it was gone.

*Knock! *Knock!

"Jhay? Are you mad at me?" Jhay recognized Haji's voice behind her door. Jhay wanted to answer him, "No I'm not. Why would I be mad at you?"

"Get lost, stupid prick!" Jhay cursed. Haji chuckled and said, "Are you sure?"

"I rushed through all the way here to explain to you what exactly happened a while ago. You don't want to hear it?" Haji said teasingly. Jhay could imagine Haji smirking behind that door.

"Who would want to listen to you?! Just get lost! I don't want to see you, asshole!" Jhay shouted. Haji chuckled once again. Jhay thought, "The truth is, I don't want to face you right now because I'm so embarrassed. I just acted like some sort of a bitchy jealous girlfriend awhile ago."

"That was Ella. She told me she liked me" Haji said laughing.

"So what" Jhay said and walked towards the door, held the doorknob and forcing it not to open since Haji kept shaking it.

"I rejected her, wanna know why?" Haji asked. Jhay didn't want to assume but every part of her was saying that she hoped she was the reason why.

"Why?" Jhay asked slowly.

"Open the door first and I'll tell you why" Haji said. Jhay's heart started beating faster as her hand unlocked the door. Haji was looking at Jhay wildly with a smirk on his lips.

"W-What?" Jhay asked awkwardly as she saw him walked inside her room without her permission. Haji locked the door behind him and smiled at Jhay. Jhay looked away, his gaze was drowning her, she might not be able to look away if she'll stare back at him.

"Guess why" Haji said.

Jhay hated him being like that. Giving Jhay riddles and leaving her no choice but to give him answers.

"J-just s-say it already" Jhay said while looking away. Haji grabbed Jhay's hand and cupped her face, making her look directly into his dark eyes, his hair covering his brows. Haji stared at Jhay intensely and Jhay felt his warm breath fanning her own lips.

"It's because of you. I told her I already had a girlfriend and it was you." Jhay gulped at the sudden news.

"What? I'm not even your girlfriend!" Jhay said in a hoarse voice.

"You are now. You should take responsibility" Haji said. 

"What?! No way!" Jhay said quickly and pushed Haji away. Haji pouted and looked at Jhay with a heart melting puppy eyes.

"You don't want it?" Haji asked while pouting and trying to seduce Jhay .

"Not even cute" Jhay said in a disgusted tone. Haji looked hurt.

"Jhay, please don't tell me you don't want me" Haji said and held Jhay's wrist. Jhay rolled her eyes and had fun playing with him. Jhay thought that Haji looked so cute when he's pouting and she was not going to admit it.

"Do you like someone other than me?" Haji asked.

Jhay thought panickedly, "What?! Where did that idea came from?"

"Is it Damian?" Haji continued.

"What? no!"

"Then who is it? Not unless you tell me and I won't bother you anymore" Haji said. Jhay could see him almost crying.

"Fine" Jhay said silently. Haji looked at her with wide eyes and smiled.

"Say that again!" Haji said almost jumping. Jhay rolled her eyes and shyly said, "It's you".

Haji's arms wrapped around Jhay and his head burrying on her neck. Jhay could feel him kissing her shoulder randomly while saying, "Thank you"

"Woah woah easy there" Jhay said trying to catch her breath. His kisses on Jhay's neck became wilder as Haji looked at the girl in his arms hungrily.

"Can I have my way with you?" Haji said in the most seductive way and kissed Jhay on the lips. The kiss was getting more intimate and Jhay could feel her hands trembling around Haji's neck. Haji's hands c.a.r.e.s.sed Jhay's face and drawing her closer to him. Haji tilted his head for a better kiss and carried Jhay towards her bed. Jhay's head hit the pillow smoothly as Haji continued kissing her. Jhay swallowed an air to breath as the pit in her stomach was driving her insane.

"Are you sure you're younger than me?" Jhay asked and chuckled. Haji blushed and frowned.

"So what?" Haji asked pouting and trapped Jhay's hands above her head.

"I can be good in any way" Haji said mischeviously and started biting Jhay's neck softly. Marking every possible area of her skin as if he was claiming they belonged to him. Jhay felt Haji getting hard down there so she tried to change the subject.

"Hey! I don't think this is a good idea. Pherein's coming home anytime right now we better-hmp!" Haji gave Jhay a one hell of a hot kiss before saying

"I know a place where we can continue"
