“It seems you know about the Dagger of Death. According to that book, after that guy had been sealed in the dagger he was taken somewhere by that era’s Demon King. According to the book it was taken to a place where nobody could take it away.”

Sorry about that, I’m a bit unconventional and took not just the dagger away but the whole maze.

It seems that I got into some trouble with some equipment that I accidentally picked up. Back then there was no hint in the equipment prompt……

The Demon King looked over the dagger before looking back up to me.

“Really……Well, your luck really is bad. Most normal people would never go into that place in their entire lives.”

The Demon King shrugged.

“Well, basically, you touched the Dagger of Death, his soul sensed the resemblance between you and his own body and stayed near you, waiting for you to loose control. When that happened he immediately took control of your body.”

“What can I do? I don’t have any soul magic.”

“The only way is in your hands.”

The Demon King pointed at the Dagger of Death in Oyado’s hand.

“In order to solve this: Stab the guy with the Dagger of Death and it will passively absorb his soul over three hours. In addition, he mustn’t get away from the dagger during those three hours.”

“Why do you know this so well……”

“Because I suspected that guy might have been the one that had been sealed, so I did a bit of research.”

The Demon King casually said.

You’re obviously the one with too much free time……

“So in other words, we sort of know how to deal with that guy. So what’s next? Kill him in a head on battle?”

“Hey. It’s not so simple. The guy controlling your body has a lot of people who are just as strong as you.”

The Demon King said with a smile.

“In addition, the demons don’t want to fight as long as their territories aren’t attacked. Because of that, only the owner and a militant are coming to help. I think they’ll be here soon.”

Speaking of which, the weapon I was using was given by him.
