Although the military situation is urgent, the Demon King went and arranged a place for us to stay now that we had come back. Greed didn’t eat with us, but only briefly spoke before leaving.

But as she left, she turned to the guard at the door and said.

“Don’t underestimate these people. They fought with a seventh generation werewolf and escaped.”

And then left.

I didn’t understand why Greed did that at the time, but after we had finished eating and left to find demons looking at us in awe I finally understood.

“Well this is good. Otherwise, there might be some racial extremists that think that we’re weak just because we’re humans. Wouldn’t it be troublesome if they wanted to fight with us?”

Hei Luoli was very open and immediately said.

“That might be somewhat true, but that isn’t necessarily the case.”

I still had some concerns.

“Some people might think that we are able to take on their challenge and come to cause us trouble.”

“Let them come, cutting into that guy felt like cutting stone. I’ve been a dual swordsman for so long and this is the first time I’ve met someone that I couldn’t cut! It’s humiliating!”

Aliyah shouted in frustration as she drank from the beverage she was holding.

I have to say, compared to the food of the masses outside, the food in the camp of the Demon King’s General was a significant improvement. At the very least we didn’t have the same sense of crisis.

And the cuisine was relatively restored to that of our old world. There was even boiled fish.

The only question is what materials they used to make the boiled fish. Well, after thinking about it I decided to give up on looking for the answer. The boiled fish is delicious after all.

As for the drink that Aliyah was holding, I don’t know how it was done but the drink was similar to Coca-Cola and even had carbonation.

It’s quite addicting to those of us that haven’t tasted carbonated drinks in such a long time though I hear it isn’t that popular with the Demons. It could be that the carbonation isn’t strong enough compared to their body size.

Well, leaving aside the food and drinks, what comes next is the main problem.

The enemy’s back line was bombed and they’ve started an all out attack, but what should we do now?

We were full of confidence before, but to be honest, we weren’t doing that well against that seventh generation and had to make a full retreat. If they had hit me with their full strength when it started then I would’ve been the first one to resurrect.

While I do know that there is a cemetery in the Abyss, and I’ve even gone to it, but I don’t know if I’ll resurrect at it when I die.

But now I feel like no one here has any energy to start up again.

I can’t even convince myself.

You know, the guy that is controlling my body has been around for who knows how many hundreds of years. Even though my body’s level isn’t too high, since he can have so many strong people attack, then he definitely isn’t weak. Maybe he’s even stronger than the seventh generation.

If that’s the case, then forget about me alone. I’m not sure we would be able to fight him and take my body back even if we fought him as a group.

And I haven’t figured out a way to get him out of my body. Use the Dagger of Death? Although that’s a way do I just have to stab him?

It would be nice if it was that simple.

It’s a big assumption that we can stab him.

算了，还是到时候再说吧，现在都到这里了，就算说找个地方刷级也不知道要刷多久，而且深渊这里的家伙等级和能力还是比较匹配的，加上魔兽都喜欢群居，我们这样贸然去刷，反而是作死的一大体现。

Forget it. Or leave it until the time comes. Right now, even if I found a place to farm, I don’t know how long I would need to do it and I’m pretty evenly matched with the levels and abilities of the guys in the Abyss. Plus magic beasts like to live in groups and if we rushed in like this it’d be courting disaster.

“Basically, before we fight them again, we need to get fully prepared. If nothing else, we need to get some light magic weapons. I have to say, although it isn’t as clear with other elements but the relationship between light and dark elements is pretty straightforward. If we come back with light weapons then we can at least have a small advantage.

When I said this, Bai Yueguang looked at me.

“Don’t count on me, you didn’t look at our equipment. Basically it’s either stuff we bought on the side of a road or we found in a labyrinth. Where are we supposed to find light weapons? Unless we find the grave of an angel or go and rob one directly, just where are we supposed to get this equipment?”

“……That’s true.”

Probably searching his head, Bai Yueguang helplessly asked.

“What should I do? Get some holy water, flash bombs and the like?

“Stop it. You think I’m some sort of light equipment source but it isn’t that easy to make so many of those. However……’

“However?”

“It wouldn’t be impossible to get me lot of magic stones, but it won’t be easy to get them now.”

“In that case……”

Just as Bai Yueguang was about to say something a figure appeared behind him.

Shocked, I almost drew my weapon and then I heard them speak.

“The…… Demon King sent me to call you over.”

“Oh my god.”

I said, staring at her.
