Sora Kurusu, The First Artificier

"What the heck is going on?" I said, looking at the woman who already began bringing out plates out of thin air 'Is that?' "Yes, it's a spell..." She responded "It's called 'Inventory', I use it to carry a few small things..." She pulls out a spoon and fork, and placed them on the plate. Then she placed it into my open palms "How did y-" "Detect thoughts, It's quite handy when you want to get to the point of a few things..." She smiled as she pointed her finger at the pan, and lifted it into the air, then placed the fried eggs onto my plate 'Amazing...' I thought, the woman giggled "Thank you~" she said, I looked away from her gaze and began stuffing my face with the eggs...

"You're not from here, I take it?" She said, I nodded "I see, so this does confirm it. More have been summoned..." I choked on those word, but I gulped the eggs and bread down my dry throat, and then said "Wait, you know I'm not from this world?" "Of course, little boy. She snapped her fingers and the empty plate, the dirty pair of spoon and fork, and the recently used pan all disappeared. Then a tent set appeared out of thin air, and then she handed over to me "Well, I'll be seeing you around..." She blew a kiss "Sora Kurosu~" and then she disappeared.

Before me, stood a town. It had a rugged appearance even from afar.

'Welp, here goes nothing...' Upon entering the town, I was greeted by guards. And they said "You! we'd like to ask some questio-" "That's him! that's the guy that killed Ruben!" Hans said 'Hans...' Hans was an adventurer that I've hired as an escort on my way to this mining town, or in this case a mining province after seeing Delacour banners, that tried to assault me with a couple of his Bandit friends. "We'd like to ask you sir, have you brought any harm to this young gentleman?" they asked with their spears outstretched and their ends meeting my c.h.e.s.t. Then I said: "No..." "He's lying! Can't you see? He's killed my poor Ruben!" The guards whispered "Sir, might you provide us evidence that you did not kill an adventurer and sold the other to slavery?" 'Ah, so that's what they were gonna do with me...' I thought "Actually, It's him who wanted to do those things he just said..." I said "Shut up! I remembered how you did it to us, to me!" Hans replied, but clearly he's heading into a path I've already started to build "Prove it then, bring Ruben here..." I said "If he can at least walk, then that's fine by me..." "So cruel! To force even my poor friend to come over here after-" "Enough Hans!" a voice erupted from behind "I've followed you for a long time, and never had I thought that you would do this to me!" It is Ruben, he is bandaged in what appeared to be potato rags around his waist and slung his right arm in another "Poor Ruben eh? I knew Miss Delacour got rid of you for a reason..." whispers began to envelope around the guards, and then the guards gave Hans a very suspicious look "r-Ruben? you're alive?" Hans said. Those words sounded more like a question, rather than a reassurance.

A guard placed a hand over Hans' shoulder "Young man, come with us..." He shrugged the guard of "Get off me! do you know who I am, do you know who my mother is-" A large hand came slamming down on the top of his head, leaving him unconscious. It is Ruben's.

"Take him. He'll have a lot of time to cool off in his imprisonment..." Ruben said, the guards nodded and immediately hoisted the young man, and began their march through the town. Ruben turned to me and said "Sorry 'bout that, young master has been doing a lot of things, but to bruise me and even stab me with my own dagger, He'll have a lot of time to think about it, don't worry..." then he left without saying another word...
