Seeing the two young lads staring daggers at each other as if their eyes wanted to rip each other apart, the observer of the scene find it quite peculiar. Unsure what exactly was happening, Madam Choi decided to test the water.

With her trained smile, Madam Choi gracefully curtsied and acted like everything is normal. And as if the situation cannot get any weirder she even invited the two.

"Young prince, the banquet has started and the guest has been looking for you. Why don't you come and bring this lovely lady over and show her around?"

Madam Choi suggested and was even considerate for the two giving them a leeway to continue staying together.

"I don't even know her?!" Long Yue blurted out.

Long Yue is not feeling good about it. It seems that these people were convinced that something is going on between the two of them and he feels that he needs to make everything clear.

First, because he doesn't want to be part of the nasty rumor circulating throughout the household that royal blood loves to keep a harem for their own good.

"I'm pure! I'm innocent! I'm loyal and most of all, I AM A STICK-TO-ONE MAN!" he wanted to shout and tell them about it, but he keeps it to himself.

But his denial makes the situation even worse. Unsure what to do, even Long Yue is not guilty he also don't how he can explain himself. His lack of explanation further raises doubts and suspicions.

The palace maids started to create different speculation upon witnessing how fast their 'relationship turn sour'.

Aren't they supposed to be lovey-dovey and sweet to the extreme couple? After all, they just had their moments together just a while ago right?! Did they just have a lover's quarrel right away?

Mu Lingxi, on the other hand, doesn't know exactly what to feel. Her emotion was a mix of panic, anger, lost, regret, but most of all she was super pissed off to this Prince Long Yue. If she only knew that this guy was a prince, she will never dare lay her hand to him even if someone gave her ten tons of guts.

What if his father, the emperor take it seriously? What if they decided to punish her? She was sure that even his doting grandfather and older brother can't protect her from the emperor's wrath.

At this moment she was hoping that the ground below her would open up and swallow her whole or for a hole to appear so she could jump through it and escaped from this predicament.

She glared to the man opposite him who gets her involved in this whole fiasco and sensing that Mu Lingxi was looking at him, Long Yue turn around and meet Mu Lingxi's glaring eyes.
