Sorceress 101

The queen-sized bed was so tempting, it was like finding an oasis after a long walk in a desert.

And it did not take long for sleepiness to win over Mu Lingxi and Janus. They soon give up resisting the urge to try out the comfort that the bed has to offer.

After all, the events that transpire between them after their departure to the Mu clan residence took a great toll on them.

On the very next day, woken up by the sunlight that fell on her face, Mu Lingxi stirred on her bed. She even tried to cover herself under the blanket as she attempted to reposition her body finding the best spot to continue her slumber.

But realizing that sleepiness escapes her already, she decided to sit up on the edge of the bed and brush away the remaining sleepiness in her eyes.

She did a cursory look at the small glass window at her side and there she saw that the sun was already rising majestically outside. It was as if the heavy rain and the brewing storm last night were all part of a dream.

Yet the Greek-inspired room where she was currently resting at, was foolproof evidence that everything that happened last night was all for real.

She was finally heading to Magus Academia for real!

Looking back at her bed, she saw her cat still lazing beneath the bed cover. To be précised, Janus was actually sleeping soundly as his body was rolled over the blanket.

"Hey Janus, wake up it was already late in the morning!"

"MEOW"

[Leave me alone. I am not your cat, I am a LUMPIA!]

"Geez... Sure! Keep pretending that you are a lumpia for as long as you wanted. While me???!! I'm going out and I'm planning to have my breakfast. Bye now."

Mu Lingxi walks towards the door after saying that but before she could successfully open the door, Janus was already sitting next to it.

The moment that the cute little black cat hears the word 'breakfast', he immediately dashed to the door at lightning speed.

"MEOW'

[I'm ready, c' mon little lass, let's have a bite]

"HAHA... You sure move fast as long as the mention of food."

Mu Lingxi did not forget to remark before she opens the door. The moment they walk out of the room, their eyes took another moment before they were able to adapt.

The difference between the outside and inside of the room was so huge that even by experiencing it first hand, Mu Lingxi still finds it hard to believe.

It was like two totally different worlds were merged inside the ship and only the thin door separates the two contrasting realities.

The room where they just came looks so extravagant and artistic, very different from how the corridor leading to the same room looks like.

It was very unremarkable if one must say.

"MEOW'

[ What do you think little lass? Are all of these doors hides a wonderful room behind????]

"That could be possible, considering that the room we are using looks great. I don't think it was still part of special treatment. Most probably that is the special feature of this ship.]

"MEOW"

[You've got a point. Provided that this ship has something to do with Magus Academia, they sure had integrated some magic here and there to boost the function of this seemingly ordinary ship.]

Soon, the conjecture of the master and cat duo was confirmed after someone from the nearby room opens the door.

They were able to have a peek at the inside of the room, and it looks just like the same as where they were staying.
