"Forget about it!"

Sighing deeply, Mu Lingxi waved her hand in exasperation. As frustrating as it seems, she knew that there is no point in thinking about what happened. What was done, was done.

Not too far away, she saw a group of people lining up. She walks towards someone from the line to ask what they were up to.

"Pardon me milady, but may I ask why you guys are falling in line here? I beseech you to please guide me along as I came here alone and I am new here."

Mu Lingxi decided to ask around since she basically knew nothing about this place.

With an earnest look, she waited for the lady across her to answer. Yet, instead of answering her question the lady creased his eyebrows together and shoved her away.

"I don't have time to spare for the likes of you. You better stop messing around with me."

The lady waves her hand impatiently. She was a true beauty and the frown on her face did not make her look any less beautiful.

Possessing both brain and beauty partnered with prestigious upbringing, this comely lady was very familiar with this kind of propaganda.

Countless hot-blooded youth has been pursuing her all this time and they already come up to every possible way to get close to her. She was sure that this guy is no different from the others--- they were all head over hills and infatuated to her beauty!

Besides, it is one thing if she didn't saw this same man making a scene for himself just a while ago screaming like a lunatic. Then after looking around and spotting her, it made a sudden change in character and headed straight to her.

'Shameless! Is he intending to drag me on this farce that he created?! What the heck! What if the crowd associate me with this lunatic?? No way!'

"Su Yan! Su Yan, there you are. Hey?!!!"

Upon noticing someone waving and calling out for the attention of the 'shameless lad' her face darkens further.

'See? The script is going as it is. Can't you guys get anything more creative than that'

The comely lady continued her speculation as she spotted the 'accomplice' of the 'shameless lad'.

"Oh, it's certainly not me."

"I don't even know who is that Su Yan" , she thought

Without her knowing, the comely lady already misunderstood her intention.

The lady stared at the lanky lad with deep frustration burning in her eyes.

'Are you blatantly denying your relationship to that man?? Can't you see how happy he was waving at you right now???'

And as if to prove her claim, the 'accomplice' walk straight to their direction.

The comely lady watches everything to unfold before her with cold eyes.

Soon, the 'accomplice arrived at their side and it patted the shoulder of the 'shameless lad' in a brotherly manner.

"Hey Su Yan, I have been calling out your name for quite some time now. I thought that I got the wrong person because you keep on snubbing me. Good thing that I decided to personally head and verify it myself, or I might miss finding you in this large crowd."

The 'accomplice' pouted his lips like a spoiled brat and his voice carried a hint of disappointment as if he was hurt that the 'shameless lad' fail to recognized him.

The comely lady lifted her chin like a proud crane as she waited to see how the 'shameless lad' will react now that his facade has been exposed by his pig-like teammate.

'Hmm...not bad,.. at the very least, this lad has a decent talent for acting'

She can't help but commend the other party's acting as she saw how candid his 'confused reaction' looks.

'If it is other, they would definitely fall for this cheap ploy and acting. But sad to say, you are dealing with me. Hmph! Hoping to fool me? Dream on!'

She sneered internally and her eyes narrowed as she observed the two young men across her with menacing eyes.

But after confirming each other's identities, the 'shameless lad' just scratch his head in an awkward manner.

The 'shameless lad' who actively approached her a moment ago was now engaged to the conversation with his 'accomplice' and from the looks of it, it seems that they already forget her presence entirely.

After a few breaths, they were already heading to the end of the line and seems that they had decided to fall in line as well. Thus, leaving her just like that as if she really did not exist in their world in the first place.

Seething with anger she gnashed her teeth and she almost erupted on the spot from sheer frustration!

She did not expect in a least that she will be snub like that all of a sudden.

To even dare think that Mu Lingxi was trying hard just to get her attention because she was infatuated to her, she might as well have a donkey kick her inflated head instead.

If she only knew that the 'shameless lad' that she was referring to was even more beautiful than her, she would probably slap that thick-skinned face of hers.

Where did she get her guts from? She was not even qualified to hold a candle for our main character! Like duh???
