With that, Long Fuzi waved them goodbye and went out again probably on his way looking for Mu Yanxiao's room.

Long Yue did not give Mu Lingxi time to be guilt-ridden. After Long Fuzi took his leave he also took his, while dragging his new friend Su Yan.

Surprisingly, Janus just stay behind and decided not to tag along for the first time.

The young prince was overzealous and friendly. This attitude eventually makes Mu Lingxi lower her guard as she let Long Yue drags her back at MAJIKA---the commercial center of Magus Academia.

On their way, Long Yue explains a lot of things that she had to know and she takes note of it. One important thing that she learns though is that the currency used within the premises on Magus Academia is magic stones.

It can be earned by accepting the menial jobs for school, more like student assistant jobs in her previous life.

Also, they can participate in school missions since the school is offering generous awards for that too.

Likewise, they can also have their gold coins exchange for magic stones. That is why they were currently heading to a shop where they can have their gold coins exchanged.

One thing she notices is how the words written within the ordinary-looking poster were able to change in its own accord like a powerpoint presentation when technology like that is not a known thing in this world.

The short man named Condor reminded Mu Lingxi about Sir Lutin--- the tavern owner that help her sneak in the ship going here to Magus Academia.

" They were called 'peewees' and they were usually recruited here to work as a receptionist in the shops. They came from the same lineage of pixies the one that works as the gardener and responsible for maintaining the greeneries of our school."

Long Yue whispered as they followed the short man.

The transaction went on smoothly. It did not take them long to return with their magic stones at hand. Yet, Mu Lingxi's heart was bleeding upon learning the exchange rate of gold coins to magic stones.

When Janus 'visited' their clan's treasury, he managed to porked out a total of 500,000 gold coins from there. She thought they really struck it rich at that time.

She even thought that with that amount of money, they would be able to at least live their life in comfort for quite some time.
