Chan Gu and Feng Lei came not long after Su Yan and Long Yuehad arrived. Followed by Long Fuzi and from the looks of how his shoulders were slumped, it seems that he was not able to get substantial news about Mu Lingxi's whereabouts.

Upon learning what happened while they were away, the group also came up with the same conclusion, this is nothing but a sick joke.

It is just that, they can't help but wonder who Yun Xue had offended on his first day at Magus Academia? And what the heck is with this kind of prank?! Isn't it too childish???

Casting aside the dilemmas in their minds, they did not hesitate to help Yun Xue to look for his missing shoes. Thinking that this might be a good opportunity for them to get to know each other more.

Since the group agreed that this could be some sort of prank, they believe that the culprit will just hide or put the stolen item somewhere withinthe vicinity.

To avoid being suspected, Mu Lingxi played along and pretended that she was also was searching in the shrubs and bushes.

It was Feng Lei who managed to locate the dangling pair of shoes suspended on one of the branches on the orchard near their dorm.

The culprit sure was cunning, placing it somewhere they would not anticipate. Normally, if someone was going to hide a shoe, they will try to conceal its location by putting it somewhere inconspicuous.

Yet, the shoe was left dangling in a tree branch as if waving to them. Afterretrieving the shoe, a casual blow of the wind just a little bit stronger than the previous one reveals another existence.

The group looks down all at the same time to see what could have fallen from the tree, and their face flushed red upon learning what it was.

There they saw tattered boxer shorts which seem to undergo a long duration of torture before it's assailant curbs its resentment and finally let go of it.

Dead silent. Only the sound of the crickets can be heard in the background.

"Err... Yun Xue, is that yours as well?"

It was Long Yue who decided to break the silence. As all the other heads turn to Yun Xue waiting to see his reaction.

"NO! Of course not. It's not mine, I told you I only lost a shoe. M-ma-maybe... It was from another victim of the prank."

"Yeah, that should be it"

"I think so, there is no way that one could be Yun Xue's. The size is far too small. It looks like it belongs to a preschooler. "

"Exactly, I bet the owner of that boxer shorts only has a mediocre size..."

The group voiced out their opinion one by one. Only Su Yan/ Mu Lingxi remains silent. Of course, how could she follow their line of thought?

"Preschooler?! Preschooler your head! It's not that small you know! Mine is not a mediocre size! It's not! I swear!"  

Yun Xue badly wanted to defend himself. But he knows that it would only be more embarrassing so he could only lash at them in his mind.

He was all red and he seems to be trembling for some reason. Maybe it could be out of shame or frustration, who knows?

Good thing it was dark enough so no one noticed his peculiarities.

"Come on everyone, it's getting late now. We should rest for the night, it won't be any good if we would be late for the orientation tomorrow. Thank you for helping me by the way."

Suppressing his stifled feeling inside, Yun Xue beckoned others and this time his attitude was devoid of his usual arrogance.

Grabbing his wand he whispered,
