Teacher Shen started her ELIXIR MAKING class as soon as she arrived.

"Ok class, get your book on "Elementary  guides on how you can concoct your first Elixir" then turn it to page 5."

Without further ado, the students took their book out from their storage ring and a hardbound book with a cover that seems to be made from a tree bark materialized on their table.

Following Teacher Shen's instruction, they all look for page five and there they saw the formula for concocting the SLEEP DRAUGHT.

"Concocting a Sleeping Draught will require you various mystical plants and even a magical insect, but there is nothing you have to worry about because the school will be providing it to you."

"Woah! That's a relief. 'Coz I won't be able to afford to buy it by myself."

Mu Lingxi drew a long sigh of relief upon hearing that all expenses will be shouldered by the school. She feels more excited than ever.

Compared to her previous life where they will have to produce everything out fro their pocket whenever there is a school activity, Magus Academia appears to be more considerate and generous.

They must be burning a lot of resources just to provide all the expenses of its entire student populace.

Thinking the same thing, the other new students can't help but praise their alma mater's generosity as their eyes lit up in excitement.

"This is what an ideal education is. Providing not just theories and abstract concepts, but also funding for conducive learning. This is what real dedication is! Learning is more fun like this!"

"Before you get your high hopes, let me clarify to you everything. The school will be providing you the expenses only for your first concoction, and that is just for a single set of ingredients."

"But Teacher Shen, does it mean we have to do it right the first time? How could we guarantee success at first try????"

"It will be best if you can successfully concoct your first elixir at first try. But of course, it is also inevitable for elixir making to have an occasional mistake here and there. Affecting the efficacy of your concocted elixir or even turning it to a fail product. If you wish to try again, you can always purchase another set of ingredients but the expenses will be all yours."

Teacher Shen explains everything with patience.

"Well, it does make sense for the school to have that kind of arrangement. Because if the students will just keep on making mistakes on their concoction and if the school will keep on providing them for free, it won't take long for the school itself to shut down due to bankruptcy, I suppose."

Mu Lingxi nodded in agreement. Well, it seems that she still needs to think of an idea to earn more magic stones in the future. She really does not want to fail just because she can't afford the expenses.

"No matter what, I will find a way."

The class did not dawdle much on this topic, or more like Teacher Shen did not allow them to think more about it. With a casual wave of her wand, the classroom interior was altered.

The rooms seem to be replaced by a cooking contest room based on Mu Lingxi's observation. This is how their classroom looks like whenever they were conducting a cooking contest during nutrition month 1 on her previous life.   

Cauldron, mortar and pestle, bowls of different sizes and various weird looking plants were placed neatly before their eyes.

There is a red-colored root crop plant at the center, and there are four of them. It looks like a bulb of garlic but it's way much bigger. Its size is as big as a child's fist.

From its blood-red color, it seems to be the VALERIAN HEART BUB mentioned in the book. As per the golden flower at the side, it must be the GOLDEN JASMINE base from the name itself.

The other one should be the 7-PETAL CHAMOMILE, while the plant beside it should be the STINGING NEETLE.

The STINGING NEETLE has pretty, heart-shaped leaves but its stem is covered with tiny, stiff hairs that were said to release stinging chemicals when touched.

On the corner, there is a container with a wiggling creature inside it. There is only one ingredient that matches it, and that is the CHRYSANTHEMUM WORMS.

There is also a small gourd place next to it. That should contain the CLEANSING WATER which is specifically fetched from the YIN-YANG Lake located at the Cloud mist Ridge. It is held during the month of July where school administration will think of a theme that promotes healthy living encouraging students to participate in its advocate and conduct events like a cooking contest where healthy foods like vegetables are the main ingredients
