Planet of Hoth 50 kilometers Southwest of Mining Base Alpha

"Why of all people were we sent here!" Lantern looked over to his long time partner Jack.

"They wanted some professional scouting the regions near our Mining camp. Just in case we meet some unexpected vistors." Jack could only frown under his helmet. He understood the frustration if Lantern. They were met to be elites selected from the 300th to help support there clone brothers who were still in danger of falling under the Sith.

"I know! But the agreement we had for joining the Ghost were that we would like to support the 300th and our fellow clones from the shadows! Not coming to some dump of a wasteland in search of nothing!." Lantern was clearly showing he was dissatisfied. Jack knew their was slightly more to that then just not being allowed to help his brothers. Of the two Lantern was the most excited to join the Ghost even before them explaining the agreement. Diesel was like an idol to Lantern and he wanted to fight beside his idol.

"Man lets just move towards our next scouting point. Delta Zero Four, should be roughly 10 kilometers to the north of here." Lantern could only sigh while looking at the map. He turned back towards the two speeders they used for scouting before a hand landed on his shoulder indicated to keep silence. Both clones quickly went into kneeling. While Lantern followed Jack other hand pointing out into the wasteland.

A large group of roughly 25 bipedal creatures appeared running across the empty wasteland roughly about a half of kilometer out. They were moving roughly 90 kph and a little behind that were two pedal creatures that were standing 3 meters tall.

"What are those things?" Jack kept to a low whisper.

"The one in the herd is called Tauntaun. As for those larger brėȧst I'm not sure they don't seem to be in our current database." Lantern kept scanning the intel in order to find any sort of information on the tall furred beast. "My guess would be they are on top of the food chain in this area considering how quickly the Tauntaun are running. We should avoid them for now and see if we can retrieve any intel about them."

"We need to follow them and find their dwellings, if they are indeed on top of the food chain its very possible they will show up at our mining base at some point." Jack attempted to be as logical as possible. They did have to little info on this beast however the safety of there fellow soldiers back at the base should be first.

"Jack...Our orders are just suppose to scout and keep out of danger. Its very possible if we follow those beast we could end up in trouble." Lantern although he was very upset about this ȧssignment tried to keep it to the book as possible without disobeying his orders directly.

Sighing, Jack knew Lantern was correct but he felt the need to know the location of there dwellings would be very important in the future in case anything happens. "We should at least find there home and leave as quickly as possible preventing any dangers."

Planet of Hoth 55 kilometers Southwest of Mining Base Alpha Near Wampa Mountain Dwellings

Lantern wasn't very happy being convince into following the creature into the mountains. He felt it left them very exposed. As they didn't know how the terrain as well as the beast would. Not to mention he wasn't even sure if they wasn't going to be more of them.

"Jack we should turn around now. If we head any deeper its very possible to be surrounded." Jack stopped to consider the option before moving forward. A hand grabbed onto his shoulder and yanked him into the show. "What did I just tell you! Look at your motion tracker!"

Lantern quickly check his motion tracker and noticed three red dots that appeared what could only be above them. He quickly glanced up and seen one of the three dots walking down towards them. "Shit we need to get out of here now. I messed up. activate our beacons just in case." In case of emergency each member of the ghost were equipped beacons and motion trackers that were supplied by Sophia.

Both Jack and Lantern moved out back towards the bottom of the mountain. Hoping they wouldnt catch the sight there sight. What they didn't know was they just outside of there motion trackers another five of those creatures watched them.

"Fuck! Jack! I told you this was a bad idea! We need to report this immediately." Lantern was furious. He could only hope nothing bad would come out of this.
