The next day, just before noon on April 30th. I met up with Miyu at Tsukunami station, and we decided to take TEX together. To get to Skytree, we took TEX to Akihabara, transferred to Sōbu Line for three stops, and then transferred to the Hanzomon Line for one stop.

“It’s been a long time since we’ve been out together like this, hasn’t it?”

Miyu said nostalgically as we rode the TEX.

“Yeah, you’re right. It’s been a long time ever since that incident.”

After that incident, Miyu rarely hung out with anyone but me anymore, even with me, we mostly hung out in the neighborhood or lounged around at home.

“Yes. That’s why, I’m looking forward to today.”

Miyu said that as she leaned against me. There were a lot of empty seats, but she sat down next to me, and leaned her head against my shoulders. I didn’t say anything, because I know that she’s spoiling me in her own way.

After two stations, we arrived at Oshiage Station, where the Skytree is located.

“It’s a little far from Tsukunami.”

“Maybe it’s too late for lunch.”

We entered Solamachi from the basement of Oshiage Station.

“Wow! The escalators are huge…!”

The elevators entering Solamachi from the basement of Oshiage Station were completely floored and heavily decorated.

It was truly a sight to behold, and both of us were gazing at the scenery around the elevator.

It’s no secret that I enjoyed watching Miyu’s eyes sparkle as she looked at the scenery.

After we arrived at the Skytree floor, I walked while holding hands with Miyu. It’s easy for her to get lost when she goes out to places like this. [EDN: Mf gets to hold hands with a girl, this is too much, can I point my pitchforks at him now?]

We walked for a few minutes. Then, We arrived at the bottom of the Skytree.

“It’s the first time I’ve seen them up close! It’s so sparkly and beautiful…!”

“Yeah, you’re right…”

For a while, the two of us gazed upward from the base of the Sky Tree.

I pulled myself together, handed in my ticket at the entrance, and went inside. Because it was Golden Week the place was quite crowded. It was a good thing I had made a reservation.

After walking for a while, I noticed a gate labeled “Baggage Inspection”.

“It’s like an airport.”

“I guess it’s for security.”

After a quick baggage check, we headed to the elevators leading to the observation deck.

“Oh, by the way. I heard that the elevators have a spring, summer, fall, and winter design, and you never know which one you are going to take.”

“Oh~ It’s my first time hearing that.”

Well, she’s the type of person who enjoys going with her intuition and doesn’t do too much research.

The elevator we were taken to was the “Spring” elevator. The walls of the elevator were covered with cherry blossoms, perhaps inspired by spring. (TLN: an example I could find >click< )

“The Cherry Blossoms are beautiful.”

“But, The real cherry blossoms have already fallen.”

“Come on, Don’t say that!”

As we whispered to each other, the elevator went up with great speed. The speed and current altitude were written on the wall, and the numbers changed at a dizzying pace.

“…”

“…”

We watched the scene in silence.

When the elevator arrived at the observatory deck, it was packed with people. It was Golden Week, as expected. Hand in hand, we walked down the route.

“It’s a nice view. Thanks.”

“We’re still on our way, though.”

I chuckled at the premature thanks and continued walking on the route.

“Oh, okay.”

I took out two tickets from my bag and handed one to Miyu.

“Eh? What’s this?

“It’s a ticket to the Skytree Observatory Corridor. I thought we could climb higher.” (TLN:  the corridor looks like this > click here < )

When I researched about the Skytree, I found out that there was an observation corridor on top of the observatory deck, so I had been secretly preparing for it.

“But, I’ll pay for the extra fee too.”

“I’ll pay for it.”

I said in a rather strong tone. She’s a bit spoiled, but Miyu’s a well disciplined girl, so if I don’t talk to her a little strongly, she might say that she would pay too.

“You’re so stubborn, Ryu-kun.”

“You don’t mind, do you?”

“Yes, Thank you.”

When I got on the elevator that led to the Observatory Corridor, I was illuminated by blue-white lights. The structure is so mysterious that you can see the inside of the building through the atrium.

“It’s kind of cyberpunk, isn’t it?”

I chuckled at her typical expression. However, I also feel a bit strange about it.

The Observation Corridor is quieter and less crowded than the Observatory deck.

“Wait, isn’t that Mount Tsukuha?”

“That’s what I thought, you really have good eyesights.”

My eyesight is about 1.0, but she has 2.0 eyesight. After that, we walked down the spiral corridor, enjoying the view. The view from the observation corridor was exceptional, and I could see very far.

“This is a nice view. Thank you.”

“That’s weird. It was you who asked me out.”

Even so, I think it was because she was with me that I was able to enjoy this view.

(Above all, I had fun because we were together.)

I decided to keep those words to myself and not say anything about it.
