Spoken Lies And Broken Ties

Here I am pacing back and forth in my room for almost half an hour, weighing my options to escape this dinner party. An hour later after considering almost all possible options, I came to the conclusion that I am screwed. Ughh..!! Why did dad have to invite them for dinner? I was nearly pulling my hair out due to frustration. This is so not nice, I don't want this, but I have no other option left with me but to attend the dinner. It's not like I don't want uncle and aunt to come home. I love them, they both are really sweet and treat me like their own child. Aunt Rachel always wanted a daughter, so she treats me like her own daughter and I consider her as a mother figure. But their son is the reason for me to avoid this dinner party. I am in no mood to tolerate him today, not after the hectic week. This is my time, my family time and I don't want him anywhere near me or my family. Our parents don't know what sort of a human he really is, they can't see through his facade. I used to believe him just like them in the past and that was the biggest mistake of my life but I'm never gonna repeat that mistake again.
