Spy At An All-Girls School!!

Chapter 50 - 50: Prelude to an operation...

We find a particular group of police squad as Police Task Force 202 is finally finished in their 3-day preparations and are currently making their way in the location where a drug operation is going to take place as per Police Intel.

Currently, the squad finds themselves above on a cliff overlooking a suspicious and isolated warehouse surrounded by armed guards patrolling as they are located somewhere in the borders of Underworld that effectively separates the main city from the crime-filled area.

Equipped with their respective guns and other tools of warfare, the squad is also on high alert, their eyes rolling everywhere should something suspicious and unexpected dare to attack them at any moment.

"So this is the Underworld." Brandon eyed his every surrounding, a dark sinister place devoid of any law and order as the said area is filled with Anarchy with all the trash and rubble piling up. "I only heard rumors of the place but damn, the air in this place feels suffocating. The sooner we finish the operation, the better."

"Yes." Henders, the most experienced one of the squad, being the Captain and all of that nodded in agreement with her subordinate. "The last time that I was here is when I was a Junior Lieutenant recently graduated from the Police Academy when I assisted a Colonel in disrupting a smuggling business. It seems that this place never changes and still is the same old lawless area that I come accustomed to."

"Hehe, yup. I was there too you know Captain. Ah, the memories." Charlie chuckled as he recalled also being in the same operation with Henders. Then the Second in command turns his attention to the lowest mammal of the squad, a certain pink-haired police Sergeant with a smirk. "And it seems that our cute recruit here gets the privilege of being introduced early in the Underworld scene. You feeling okay there pinkie?"

The police undercover in disguise, Hannie, Code name: Chameleon of the B.S.S. Dawn Branch, looks at Charlie, a grin merely in response. "Hehe yeah, I'm kind of nervous in all honesty but at the same time, also excited!! Since it's my first time here, I can't wait what kind of criminal baddies that the Underworld has to offer."

Of course, being Hannie's first time here in the Underworld is all but a lie. The Agent Chameleon, being one of the top Agents of the Brotherhood has been sent in the Underworld numerous times, performing missions that could very well spell death in a single mishap. So she knows the inner workings of the place more or less.

"Only the most notorious can only exist in this foul place of a sewer." Henders answered with a frown. "Be on your guard squad, the criminals here will not hesitate to take your life if the opportunity presented itself. After all, they extort and murder for a living as easy as drinking a cup of tea. As much as I detest unnecessary bloodshed, don't also hesitate in doing the same thing to them because what we are entering is not simply a place devoid of any law and order but also a Warzone."

The squad turned serious at their Captain's speech, all signs of sarcasm and wackiness immediately disappearing into thin air as the matter at hand could very well be their last if they are not careful in this.

"Alright, listen up squad." Henders brief them about the operation. "Our mission is to disrupt a drug operation currently happening inside that warehouse and to capture their ringleader for information. I'm sure that all of you took your time in memorizing the layout of the entire place as per the building map schematics that our anonymous Intel has provided for us I presume?"

"Like a sponge in a water Captain." Oliver replied with a grin as the rest of the squad nodded in compliance.

"Good, the map tells us that there's a sewer located not far from here that connects inside and serves as a hidden entrance to the Warehouse." Henders said. "So here's what we are going to do."

"Charlie, Brandon." Henders eyed the two men. "There are guards patrolling outside the premises, so be vigilant. I want both of you to be on standby outside and if possible, reduce their numbers as quietly as possible if the opportunity arises. If something happens on the inside, like a shot of gunfire for example, the two of you are to cause as much havoc as possible from the outside in order to confuse the enemy ranks even further."

"Got it." The two men mentioned nodded without question.

"Oliver, you are to remain here and act as our safety insurance in case things go shit haywire. This cliff also serves as a good vantage point and you are to request for backup and provide sniper support to all of us if we are compromised."

"Roger." Oliver saluted as he put out and prepared his trusty Barrett M82.

"Recruit, you're with me." Henders turned her head to Chameleon. "Basically, we are the Shadows of the operation as the two of us will be using the sewer entrance and make our way into the Warehouse stealthily. Then we are to observe the drug operation in an inconspicuous manner until I deem worthy that it is the time to act. Do you copy?"

"Okie Dokie Captain." The pink-haired girl answered in enthusiasm.

"And for Mother Twilight's sake recruit." Henders eyed at her sternly. "Please don't disappear on me again like the last time you did in the mall."

"You can count on me ma'am." Chameleon smiled cheerfully.

"Good." Henders nodded and she once more faced the squad. "Are all your earpieces in good condition?"

"Yes ma'am." They all answered in unison.

"Alright." Henders replied. "If a situation has turned in a 360, then don't even think for a moment and immediately contact each other."

After their confirmation in regards to their crucial roles as they also gave a final check on their respective weapons and tools, The squad of five parted ways, commencing the operation at hand.

"So Captain." Chameleon inquired her Captain as they made their way to the sewer entrance. "It seems that this Intel is rather dependable. Wonder who he or she is?"

"I'm not one to question the higher-ups in regards to the matter." Henders merely answered with a sigh. "All I know is that this Intel has been providing us with so much information that proves to be beneficial to all of us in bringing criminals to justice. As long as he or she does the job, then perhaps their identity does not entirely matter."

"I suppose." Chameleon smiled as she ended the talk because from this point on, they now cease any conversation with one another, focusing the mission at hand.

'Intel huh?' Chameleon with intrigue, her thoughts now laying on focus on a certain black-haired Dragon being very busy.
