Logan was trying to decide whether he should respond to the email he had received the other day. It had been a while now since he had uploaded 'Right beside you' and his subscriber count had reached 15,000 subscribers. The video had around 500,000 views. That was almost more than double the views he had for his last video. On the other hand, what Logan didn't know was that the video 'Robbery thwarted by a school boy' had reached 2nd spot on the trending list. Everyone was curious to know who the hero was. And finally someone had found who he was.

Jared and Layla were already on their 2nd date. They liked each other already after their first date. It was quite a love story they had about how they had practically seen each other everyday on the same bus. Layla was a business management major at Stanford in her junior year. While Jared was already working in a tech company. He had passed out of his college one year back.

"So why did you finally ask me out? How did you find the courage?"

" It's a secret." said Jared teasing her.

"Tell me. Common don't be such a spoilsport", said Layla pouting.

"It was because of this song" he said showing her the YouTube video.

She saw a really gorgeous guy playing a guitar while singing. She found the song really soothing and relating to her too. But more than that she felt as though she had seen the singer somewhere. She tried hard to remember where she had seen him. And it clicked to her that this was the same guy from the Robbery video. She was stunned. How can the ferocious and ruthless boy be someone who sang such a sweet song?

She took the phone from him and played the Robbery video on it.

"Do you think that the singer and this boy in the video are the same?"

Jared watched the video and was left surprised. So ruthless and quick.

"Yes it's the same guy"

Layla quickly took out her phone and spammed in the comments saying,

{Found the hero. He is a YouTuber by the name 'Theknight285'. Check out his videos. They are amazing.}

She spammed the same comment over and over again. After a few she kept her phone away and returned to enjoying the bliss of dating the she liked.

These comments started getting noticed by people and this started trending.

{[email protected] if u think it's not an original then show where it has been copied from or else shut up. I couldn't find it anywhere. Must be an original. Knight must be very talented.}

The new information started a storm on Logan's channel. His videos started gaining views at a breakneck speed. His views broke a million on both the videos. People liked his songs. They felt refreshed listening to his songs. Both of song appeared on trending list one after another. 'Apologise' stood at 16th rank and 'Right beside you' at 18th.

Logan had just returned from his workout. He logged in into his YouTube account.

"Woaaaaah"

"1.4million views?. Wtf happened?"

He started surfing the comments. As he skimmed through he comments he found out about the Robbery thwarted by a school boy' video. He quickly opened the trending videos page and found it on 2nd place. He played the video and was dumbstruck. The store owner had a hidden camera. He looked really cool dispatching the thieves he thought narcissistically. He also found out that both his videos had reached the trending list.

His twitter account started exploding too and had reached 20,000 followers. He felt giddy with happiness.

He felt ecstatic. He needed faster skill assimilation because there were so many skills he wanted to master. He felt atleast something good came out of that incident. He accessed his status menu.

Logan counted the 'far'. There was one less 'far' now. Nothing made him happier than feeling that he was getting closer to his goal. His 'Stardom'. The motivation he got from this was huge. Now that his song videos were on the trending list he would be noticed by some entertainment agents. He also thought about the email from the fashion company. He thought it wouldn't harm him to just talk to them. After all if he got into some advertis.e.m.e.nts or had to model for something, his reputation would definitely increase.

He checked the perks menu. He selected the skill, 'Modelling' and bought it.Since his videos had gotten 1 million views he had star points to spend.

He also surfed for some tutorials on modelling. He got the general idea and instantly he got the notification.

So this was the result and effect of increased skill assimilation speed.

He sent back his phone number via email to Starlight fashion agency. He just had to wait and watch now. He was sure that he would definitely get some calls from entertainment brokers too. He had momentum right now. So he thought of uploading his third song so that he would get a lot of views in this frenzied trending. Make hay while the sun shines. He was sure that his third song would be received well too.

Somewhere in Los Angeles.

A woman was surfing the YouTube's trending videos. Whenever she was stressed, she would surf YouTube. She found the songs uploaded by upload channel named 'Theknight285'

"Wow. This guy looks gorgeous. He can sing well too. If could act well then may be...."

She sank into contemplation. She might have just found out a rough gem.
