Stargate: El Dorado

Dr Carter stood in the control room staring at the cities long range sensor screen. Following approximately a day's travel behind eldorado were a fleet of 15 sh.i.p.s. The cities sensors identified them as Zaruphane mother sh.i.p.s. " Well I suppose that settles wondering wether we would be followed." Said Sheppard. "According to our readings we are halfway between the Pegasus Galaxy and the Galaxy where destiny currently is." Zalinka said. "Apparently the cities engines are much faster than we had ever anticipated. I expect us to rendezvous with Destiny within 72 hours ." He added.

Carter's mind whirled. She knew that they couldn't lead the Zaruphane fleet to destiny. Not only would they make short work of the ancient damaged ship, but they would risk losing all of the survivors aboard it. " Zalinka consult the ancient database and see what the best way to deal with these Zaruphane is. Ordinarily I would try to talk to them, however I think that if they believe we are ancients they may take us more seriously. " She said. " So I need to know how they would handle this situation." She added.
