Strangers In Love

"What's wrong, May?" Daniel asked in a low voice. When he stepped towards the house to investigate, Marina suddenly pulled him by his arm. She quickly took him to a corner as if she saw something dangerous.

Daniel saw sweat breaking out at her hairline and tension building up in her body. Her eyes were fixed on something outside but, he could not see as Marina was blocking his view and the nook was too narrow to move or stretch himself to see past her.

"What's wrong, Marina?" he asked her again. This time, she looked up and he saw her moist eyes.

"Who is it?" Daniel pushed Marina little aside to see what made her tense like that. He peeked lightly out to see, there was a black Mercedes Benz standing exactly at the opposite side of the house they were about to enter.

He saw an old man standing in the middle of the road as if he was debating something there. His back was facing him. He was wearing an expensive suit but, Daniel couldn't figure out who he was exactly. Suddenly, another man wearing a black suit, who was a bit shorter than him approached and told something. The man turned around so that only his side profile was visible to him and that made Dan flinch a bit.

He knew him. Marina hated him the most. He turned and saw Marina looking down towards her feet. He knew what was she feeling but he didn't budge her.

"Why is here?" "Is he probably trying to find her too?" "That means he is trying to find both of us?" "What should I do now?" "Should I find her? If I approach maybe I'll just lead her towards him? And maybe myself too?" All of these thoughts were running in Marina's mind when, she saw Paul Collin outside the house. In a split second she remembered everything. Everything. Everything that crumbled her world. When she saw him, her whole body went rigid and her mind was spinning with all those memories. Which she cherished and heted the most.

She somehow managed to get herself and Daniel out of there before any of his men noticed them. She was terrified and was concerned about their safety. How in the world was she supposed to find Murphy and keep her safe while doing it? Now that Paul Collin can probably do anything and he is almost close on finding Murphy, she has to be extra careful while searching.

"Brother, now that they also involved, you have to carry this out." "Help me, brother" she said while looking at him.

"I'm your brother. There isn't a need for please. Anyways, I love doing my job." Marina smiled a bit.

"That's it? You can only do that?" He looked at her frowning his face. Marina was confused on what was he talking. Just than he grinned big "See, I'm better than you" Marina burst into laughter seeing him like that.

"Its good to see you smiling like that. Don't be too harsh on yourself. Just relax yourself a bit from time to time." Daniel advised trying to ease her atleast a little bit.

" Until this all sorts out, I can't relax.." Marina said with a measured voice. He knew, this would be her answer.

Paul seated in his car and glancing at the beautiful countryside of Silbon.

"Its still the same." he talked to himself. Hearing his voice, his companion Stefan, who was seated beside him glanced at him. He immediately understood what Paul was thinking about and gave him his privacy to think.

"Their worlds just crumbled in a day" Butler Wu said in a low tone. Paul glanced at him and clearly understood what was he trying to say. Even he was in his place back then.

"Adam and Alex grew up well." Butler wu looked at Paul. Though the statement seemed to have a question at the end.

"Well, you know them." Paul said with unsure voice. "Now everybody knows them well." Butler wu said with a smile on his face. "Yeah. They were innocently caught up in between all this. It was unfair for their life." Paul's thoughts went back to 15 years. "I just don't want them to hurt anymore." He continued,

"They took their decision already. Let them do what is right. A lie maybe powerful but, it can't hide the truth for long. At the end, truth always wins." Butler wu's words were a little comforting towards Paul's guilty heart.

"Sir" Stefan called out. "We reached." He said and stood to the side of the car. Paul slowly got out from car and saw the huge building with 'envision' logo on it. He was proud but, also guilty seeing that. "Tell them" Paul said with a clipped tone to Stefan. Stefan nodded and followed Paul into the Envision.
