Strongest Overlord

Chapter 15 - 1 - Part 14 - The Arrival of The Overlord

Vlad has been standing in silent for a while as he pondered why and how he casted a wrong magic skill.

Although he was not proficient yet at using Mana, he was confident enough to mold and change it's property into something that he d.e.s.i.r.ed. After all, it used his imagination as a catalyst to form and mold that Mana.

It was not easy, but it was not hard either. For an avid reader and anime lover like himself, something like imagination was easy for him.

"T-that was most impressive, master. Albeit it was an overkill..." Said Tiriel pausing to release the breath that she was unconsciously held back.

Vlad could hear the nervous tone from her as she stared at the same spot Vlad's was staring.

The spot where they were staring were not filled dust like powder, it was what remained of the monster Vlad just killed. The once tiny ice blocks were still breaking apart again and again until it became what it was now.

Even right now, the dust seems to be disappearing unknown if it was blown away by the winds or it was still breaking apart.

The magic [Frozen Break] was indeed worthy of being called the most overpowered magic in the game.

As surprised and stunned as he is, Vlad was still able to stay calm. So with just a shake of his head, his mind then focused again.

"Anyway Tiriel, let's go and find that hut? cottage? whatever it was. It looks like I'm rather rusty now... i need to be careful from now on."

Said Vlad in the most natural way and as aloof as he could. For a reason that he wanted to keep to himself, Vlad was not willing to look pathetic.

Seeing Vlad was behaving like that, Tiriel for once made a fearful expression. Although it was for a moment, Vlad was fortunate enough to see it.

With her expression become normal again, Tiriel then opened her s.e.xy lips.

"A-ah... Y-yes, of course... We should be there if we walk in this direction for a few more minutes."

Even though she tried to be calm, her trembling and nervous tone still couldn't hide just how shocked she was.

She clearly know just how dangerous that magic Vlad just used. And if he were to use that magic on her, It would definitely be a one hit kill...

Acting as if nothing had happened, Vlad then made Tiriel to walk in front of him again this time.

Not because he was in a hurry or anything, but to him this little accident could cause him to lose something in the future.

So with another silent journey, Vlad frowned his brows and made a thinking gesture. He put his right hand on his chin as he stared at Tiriel's back trying not to lose sight of her.

'What went wrong?'

Vlad asked himself inside his mind. He was remembering what had happened when he was casting the spell.

'If that spell came out because i was surprised then that was not possible. After all, i was calm... And if the problem came from pumping too much mana, then that's the most likely thing that happened at that time.'

Vlad was indeed calm when he casted that spell, but he was still unfamiliar with how magic worked. So it could be said that he put to much force to flick a fly causing it to burst apart like a smashed water melon.

Nodding his head in satisfaction, Vlad then tried to move the mana inside his body again.

This time, he was more careful and made sure that he moved just a... a very small amount of it. He then moved it toward his right hand and casted the fireball he experimented a while back. The fireball was as big as a ping pong ball, but Vlad still could feel the hot temperature from that fireball.

Satisfied with the results, he then threw the fireball to his right side with a force similar to a flying bullet.

Not even a second passed, a loud explosion similar to that of an eruption from a volcano could be heard, blasting a hot air and a giant cloud of smoke into their direction.

With a speed like that of a lightning, Vlad then used his body to shield Tiriel from the blast.

Needless to say that he was shocked yet again at how ridiculous his power were.

"Chough"

"Chough"

Bot Tiriel and Vlad let out several choughs as they raised their body from the ground.

This time, there's no damages to Tiriel's rag like clothes as Vlad shielded her from the blast. However, when Vlad looked at her face, he could not help but to twitch his right eyebrow.

Tiriel was eyeing him with an expression similar to that of a wounded dog. That made him take a huge hit to his conscience.

"Well, it seems that my experiment failed... Ha.. ha.. ha-hahaha..."

An awkward laugh escaped his mouth as Vlad rubbed the back of his head with his left hand. His expression showed a smiling and gentle looking neighbor from next door kind of vibe.

Putting that aside, the surrounding area were now filled with a toppled trees and a massive amount of smoke flying in the air.

Vlad could feel the heat from his surroundings, and he was sure that he caused another needless destruction and possibly a forest fire...

Looking at the awkward Vlad, Tiriel then raised her left hand to the sky.

"[Rain]"

She said with a somewhat tired tone. And with it, came a heavy downpour that made both of them wet immediately.

Looking at the sky, Vlad was surprised to see the once blue sky and a white cloud not filled with a grey colour that hide the blue sky.

When he was admiring the rain that came so suddenly, Vlad could hear a tired sigh before a strong gust of winds came and blew away all of the smoke.

'Impressive, so magic could do that too.'

Just when he was about to contemplate and made some conjecture. Vlad then could feel his shoulder was grabbed by someone.

"Master, pardon my rudeness. But this time, i really need to make sure that you won't cause another trouble again."

That was the last thing he heard before his vision got dark as he lose his consciousness. His body slumped down like a string has been cut from him.

"Forgive me, my beloved master..."
