Chapter 24: enthusiastic house elf

  Chapter 24 The Passionate House-Elf

Near the foyer on the first floor of the castle, there is a door leading to the Hufflepuff common room and kitchen.

It took Albert a while to wander around the foyer, finding two doors next to the marble staircase and Filch's office. Filch's cat was staring up at him.

   "What's its name?" Albert asked.

Filch didn't answer, picked up his cat and went into the office.

"It should be jealousy!" Albert murmured, if he remembered correctly, Filch was a Squib. He thought that since the other party was a Squib, he should abandon the wizarding world and blend into the Muggle world obediently. Why stay here to seek trouble and unhappiness.

Okay, the annoying guy is gone, which door should I choose?

"Where will the kitchen be?" Albert took out a coin from his pocket and tossed it on the ground. It was heads, so he chose to walk to the left of the stairs.

Behind the door is the next stone step. This is a wide stone corridor. When Albert walked by, the torches on the walls were automatically lit to illuminate the surrounding environment. Albert found that the surrounding walls were decorated with pictures of various foods .

"Good luck." Albert found a large portrait, which was a huge silver bowl full of fruit, and it was said that the kitchen was hidden behind that painting.

Enter the secret of the kitchen, on pears.

Albert touched the big green pear lightly, and the pear squirmed, giggling, and suddenly turned into a big green doorknob.

"Sure enough, I'm here. It seems that my luck is not bad." Albert was in a very happy mood. After finding the Room of Requirement, he successfully found the kitchen.

Reach out and grab the door and pull it. The size of the kitchen is the same as the auditorium above. There are many tableware on the surrounding cabinets. There are also four long wooden tables in the auditorium. The positions of these tables are the same as those of the four colleges in the auditorium above. The tables are exactly the same.

Some food has been placed on the table, which should be the students' breakfast. When it's time for the meal, the house elves will use magic to transfer the food to the corresponding table above.

"Sir, what's the matter?" An elf spotted Albert and trotted towards him.

"The restaurant hasn't opened yet, so I'll come to the kitchen to have a look." Albert smiled politely at them.

"Come with me, sir." The house-elf grabbed Albert's hand and pulled him to sit at the table. Six house-elves rushed up, carrying a large silver tray, On it was a jug of milk, ham, fried eggs, toast and salad, and pumpkin porridge.

"Thank you, little guy." Albert poured himself half a glass of milk. Although he didn't have the habit of drinking milk in his previous life, he had developed this habit over the years. Thanks to this, he became much stronger than in his previous life.

"This is our honor, sir." Someone probably said thank you to himself, and the house elves all smiled and bowed to him.

Albert ate a portion of ham, fried eggs, and two slices of toast, and drank a small bowl of pumpkin porridge, and his stomach was filled with food all at once.

As he wiped out the last morsel of fruit salad, he surveyed the house-elves, who were all, should not be said to be, wrapped in a tea towel with the Hogwarts crest on it.

"I think I should go, thank you for your breakfast." Albert noticed that the exploration progress had reached 7.3%.

"That's what we ought to do, sir," said the house-elf in a high-pitched voice. Before Albert left, many elves surrounded him and handed him many snacks for Albert to take back to eat.

"That's enough, goodbye little ones." Albert put four pies in a brown paper bag and stuffed them into his robe, which was prepared for the three of George.

The house elves all flocked to the door and watched Albert leave. They liked that thank you, which made the house elves feel Albert's respect and affirmation for them.

Following the path he walked yesterday, it took Albert a few minutes to return to the lounge.

However, there is still no one inside, and the ghost lady has already left.

When Albert returned to the room, the twins were still sleeping, and Li Qiaodan had already woken up. He looked at Albert who appeared outside the door in surprise, and couldn't help asking: "Where are you going?

"Take a walk and have breakfast by the way!" Albert grinned, "Did I bring you back gifts?"

"What gift?" Weasley on the right got up from the bed, scratched his head with his right hand, and looked like he was still asleep.

"I thought you were sleeping." Li Qiaodan got off the bed, stretched lazily and asked, "What gift?"

"Pies." Albert took out a brown paper bag from his pocket, took out a pie and took a bite, handed the paper bag to Lee Jordan and said, "One for each person."

"Where did you get that?" Fred asked curiously.

"kitchen."

   "Wow, you found the kitchen."

"By the way, you sneaked out by yourself, and you didn't even ask us to come with you." Fred also came to his senses. If it wasn't for the bed, Albert wouldn't be able to tell who the twins were.

   "Without brushing your teeth first."

"Oh, I almost forgot about it." George put down the pie in his hand, and asked curiously, "How did you find the kitchen?"

"Walking around, I happened to find it." Albert continued to talk about his encounter with Filch, "His cat is very smart and will notify his owner, but I think Filch is probably Come trouble me."

"I dare say, he must be aggrieved!" Fred also couldn't help laughing, and got up to go out for a stroll. Hogwarts Castle is really interesting.

The three of them got dressed, washed and came to the Gryffindor lounge. There was no one here yet. Albert lit the fire and sat on the sofa next to him. The rain outside had stopped.

"Bill and Charlie said there are many secret passages in the castle." Fred said to the others while eating the pie.

"But they don't tell us where the secret passage is." George complained a little to his brothers.

"Maybe, they want you to explore the secrets of the castle by yourself, that would be interesting." Albert recalled what Nick had said, and casually comforted the two.

"I think so." Lee Jordan echoed.

"By the way, I almost forgot about it." Albert walked to the entrance, took advantage of the fact that there was no one in the lounge, and took a few photos, including one for the fat lady.

   "Are you taking pictures again?"

"I'm going to send a letter to my family. For Muggles, everything in the wizarding world is very strange." Albert looked at the photos. He had discovered that he had an additional photography-related skill.

"I heard from Charlie that Filch likes to make trouble for students, and wants to hang up and whip students who make mistakes all day long." George continued after eating the pie, "Filch also knows a lot of school secrets. Dao, it will always come out quietly."

"Most of the night tour students will be caught by Filch." Fred added, "then they will be severely deducted points and placed in confinement."
