Chapter 60: Potions class

  Chapter 60 Potions class

Friday is a very critical day for Albert.

The trajectory of moving stairs and some passages in the castle will change today. In order to avoid getting lost on their way to the restaurant, they decided to go to the restaurant with other senior students.

"What classes do we have in the morning?" Li Qiaodan put two sugar cubes into the milk cereal, asking George beside him.

"Two potions classes in the morning," Albert said after wiping out the sausage on the dinner plate, "with the Slytherin students."

"I remember the Potions Professor is Snape." George said suddenly.

"Snape...oh, the one Albert wanted to take a picture of him last time?" Li Jordan remembered something, "By the way, you're okay with that?"

"Which thing?" Albert looked at Li Jordan suspiciously.

"Didn't Snape say he wanted to question you?" Fred reminded.

"Oh, you said that, there should be no problem." Albert even flipped through the book last night, and he can remember most of the content in the book, as long as it is not very tricky, there is no need to worry.

"I remember Snape seemed to be the Head of Slytherin House."

"Yes!" George leaned his head over and whispered, "Everyone says that he only favors his own students, and never gives extra points to students from houses other than Slytherin."

"Be careful, he's staring at you!" Albert said softly.

George was taken aback by these words, he quickly retracted his head, looked around carefully, but couldn't find Snape's body, so he knew he had been cheated, and stared at Albert dissatisfiedly, "You **** ..."

"Why can you make such a serious joke?" Angelina walked wearily and sat down next to them, looked at the laughing people and couldn't help shaking her head, "Today is really terrible, I lost my way and almost found Not to the location of the restaurant.”

Albert turned his head and said to Angelina: "I heard that you have become a backup player for Quidditch, congratulations."

"Thank you." Angelina looked at Albert suspiciously. She also learned about Albert from Li Jordan, and also knew that Charlie intended to draw Albert into the Quidditch team.

However, the opponent doesn't seem to care about his position, and he may be snatched away by him.

"Don't forget to bring the things you need for Potions class later, and we'd better not be late, and don't give Snape a chance to trouble us." After finishing his breakfast, Albert took out of his backpack Pull out another copy of "A Thousand Miraculous Herbs and Mushrooms" and start reading.

The potions classroom is located in a basement below the castle. They entered through another door in the foyer, and walked down the stairs to the bottom of the castle, where it looked colder than the main castle building above.

They entered the classroom and found that the Slytherin students had already arrived first.

The Potions classroom is not too big, but it can accommodate at least 20 students. Glass jars filled with stuffed animals line the walls around the classrooms, and it's creepy for the faint of heart.

"It feels a bit like a corpse soaked in formalin in a biology class." Sitting next to Li Jordan, Albert couldn't help complaining as he looked at the glass jars around him.

When Albert looked around the classroom, he noticed a storage cabinet in the corner, which might store various raw materials that students might use when making potions, or the book "Advanced Potion Making" that belonged to the Half-Blood Prince .

On the podium, Snape looked down at the students entering the classroom. Behind him was a blackboard, which was filled with the ingredients and preparation methods needed for the scabies potion.

Albert raised his head to meet Snape's gaze, smiled politely and then looked away. Those were a pair of indifferent, empty black eyes, which made Albert feel very uncomfortable.

Not long after, the bell for class rang.

Snape picked up the roster, and when he saw Albert's name, he paused for a moment, then looked away and continued to roll the roll.

"The preparation of potions is a precise and rigorous process. Many people will not believe that it is actually magic." Snape's voice was very cold, like the cold wind blowing in winter. The voice of emotion makes the students in the classroom afraid to be mischievous in class.

"Every year, I always meet a few idiots who burn the cauldron through." Snape said coldly, looking around at the students in the classroom, "I don't expect you to really understand the beauty of potions, I just Hope those idiots aren't among you."

After Snape finished his opening remarks, the class fell silent.

"Anderson!" Snape said suddenly, "What would I get if I added daffodil root powder to a wormwood infusion?"

Albert exchanged glances with Lee Jordan, shrugged and stood up, he could feel the whole class looking at him, but he wasn't nervous at all, and answered Snape's question neatly:

"Get a very powerful sleeping pill, its name is the water of life and death."

"If I asked you to find me a piece of bezoar, where would you find it?" Snape strode up to Albert's side, exerting invisible pressure on him.

"Bezoar is a stone taken from the stomach of a cow, which has a strong detoxification effect." Albert said expressionlessly.

"Then tell me, what is the difference between the boat-shaped aconitum and the chamaejasma aconitum?"

"Aconitum acanthus and Aconitum chamaejasma are the same plant, and they are collectively called aconitum."

"Copied literally from a book," Snape said contemptuously, "but basically correct."

Albert sat down again, and it seemed that he had successfully passed Snape's question.

Li Jordan next to him gave a thumbs up quietly, and Fred and George behind him tried not to let themselves laugh.

Actually, they all guessed Snape's question, and they couldn't help Albert at all.

"What are you waiting for, why don't you write it all down?" Snape returned to the podium, turned around and said to everyone.

In the classroom, there was a rustling sound of fumbling for quills and parchment.

"Have you read the whole book?" Shanna whispered, she admired Albert for being able to answer Snape's question.

Anyone with a discerning eye could actually see that Snape was looking for trouble for Albert.

Albert didn't answer, just raised his index finger to his mouth and made a quiet gesture, then raised his finger to point at Snape.

Snape stared at Shanna unhappily, and said indifferently: "Don't talk in class, one point will be deducted from Gryffindor."

In fact, Shanna was definitely not the only one who spoke. All Gryffindor students have realized that the Potions professor is targeting their own college.

Just now is the best example, Albert's answer is perfect, at least in other classes, other professors will at least give Gryffindor five points, but Snape doesn't.

It was said that Snape only favored his own students, and now it seems that this statement is not false.

Adding points or not, Albert doesn't care, he is secretly looking at the potions professor in front of him, matching him with Severus Snape in his memory:

Thin, hooked nose, sullen enough, and greasy hair?

Well, the hair may have just been washed!

To sum it up in Tom's words: Snape certainly doesn't look like a nice guy.
