"Hush! Be careful to be heard by his grace!" Another maid slapped the maid hand from earlier and immediately bowed her body. The maid earlier quickly bowed toward James group that approached while showed fear on her face.

James followed Zhou Huang and Joseph footstep into the inner palace where the King lived. While on the way, his and Madison eyes opened by how luxurious the whole palace was. Classical Chinese and European Baroque style mixed, which showed an utmost luxurious aesthetic.

James even caught a glimpse of the throne room where a majestic throne placed on the middle. A pity he couldn't carefully observed it as the two old men urged him to meet his grandfather first.

As the palace was too big, the group walked for 5 minutes before they reach their destination. Located in the middle of the palace, the King residence was surrounded by an inner garden which looked serene.

Zhou Huang and Joseph stood before a giant door and looked toward James.

"He is already waiting for you and your sister inside." Joseph said.

James hesitated for a moment before he pushed the door open and followed by Madison. Contrary to his expectation, the whole room was not luxuriously decorated, but it was huge and simple, which made people comfortable.

In the middle of the room, a bed was placed with an old man lying down on it with an IV Drip connected to his hand. Beside the bed, a woman was holding a book and read it with her beautiful voice. The old men occasionally laughed when the woman said something funny.

James stunned as his heart started to beat violently. Even compared to all the women in his Emperor memory, all of them was pale compared to her. He never believed in first love because he always thought it was imagination. But now, he couldn't explain what else happened beside it.

The sound of the door opened immediately caused the old man, and the woman turned their head and looked toward it. The old men eyes quickly rounded out when he saw James and Madison.

"I...Is that you, my grandson ?" The old man said as he struggled to get up.

"Grandpa, don't move around so much. Looks, your medicine is fallen." The woman said worriedly as the IV Drip detached from the old men hand.

James awkwardly stood there as his eyes fixed on the woman. Only when Madison pinched his hand that he quickly woke up and slowly approached the old men. He sat on the bed, which was beside the old men while Madison stood behind James.

"Yes, it was me, Grandpa." James didn't know what else to said.

Zhang Kui c.a.r.e.s.sed James face with his trembling hand, and a tear started to fall from his eyes.

"How long it is? It's already more than 30 years, and only now I can find you. If only I approved his decision, all of this wouldn't happen." Zhang Kui said with his hoarse voice.

The woman quickly took a handkerchief and wiped down Zhang Kui tears. She then stared at James wickedly.

James didn't know what else to do as he let his grandfather do what he wanted.

"Madison it is? Come here to grandpa." Zhang Kui said as he looked toward Madison.

Madison quickly sat beside James, and meekly said, "Grandpa."

Zhang Kui immediately laughed as he patted Madison's head tenderly. At this moment, the atmosphere of the whole room turned warm from the meeting between a grandfather and his grandchild, which separated by nearly 30 years.
