Alsezh went in a daze after reading the about the changes in his body no doubt he was feeling much more active and energized than before.

But that aside he still couldn't fathom the changes in his body whether it was good or bad

Alsezh had too many things going on in his mind right now making him loose focus .He started doing some yoga so as to exit his excited state of mind,

After becoming steady he started contemplating one thing at a time.

"it seems like my potential and foundation are too good now but that also makes it slower to increase my strength. "

"but hehehe this cultivate skill is excellent and I still haven't used the third one, god knows what change will this bring maybe I should try it now"

Alsezh tried using his 'plantation' skill but nothing happened.

But just as he was starting to get impatient he noticed something moving at the corner of his eye,

Shiva had arduously climbed the building in a rush so as to catch up with the dreadful bastard.

And after slipping inside the room where Alsezh was, he was amused to see Alsezh deep in thought.

Shiv took out his most deadly weapon, the plasma knife, basically a dagger who's edge was surrounded by a constant electrifying plasma energy running on some batteries.

He was good with guns but he knew experts at their level could dodge normal bullets with ease unless and until the guns were something special.

But shock was written all over his face right now, he had attempted many assassination like these but had never failed especially if he had gotten so close to his target but being a trained assassin he didn't falter he flipped the dagger around his wrist and continued the flow of backstab circularly.

Alsezh was now hating his abrupt release of Cultivate skill as he was now at level 1 though his attributes were still around the same due to the increase of 30 points from Nerves of steel skill, the level suppression was not something to be underestimated

According to his guess the opponent was at least level 5 or above and for sure possessing mid D ranked or so battle power so immediately gave up on fighting and decided to negotiate first.

"hey buddy its not like we have any mortal feud and due to some recent happenings I am not even interested in the codex anymore you can have it"

Shiva hesitated but still continued his attack thinking it was a trap. He could'nt think of anything that could make the bastard in front him loose interest in the codex when it was right in front of his eyes.

Alsezh gritted his teeth and started dodging "if the other assassins joined this brat too then I am dead"

He was running out of time even if he was dodging the difference in attributes was glaring and the level suppression was making matters worse, as time passed by he suffered countless cuts but thankfully all of them were healing at visible rate due to the passive skill of Alis life force.

Shiv was surprised by Alsezh's regeneration capabilities and decided to speed up things, "lets see if you can take this"

Shiv then removed another dagger from his space storage and laughed at Alsezh menacingly, "even if you give up on the codex now, I don't want any sudden disruptions later.....so you have to die"
