Chapter 84 – A Family of Three

Darkness is coming earlier and earlier.

Shen Yu has retrofitted Xiaomeng I with on/off sensors for many of the appliances in the house, so that the lights in the house come on automatically as it gets dark.

“Add a few more, we can’t eat them all.”

Shen Yu watched her actions and suddenly felt a little bit of a sense of connection. He was about to remind Rika to pack one out, after all, Auntie Wang’s family had been sending him a lot of things during the New Year and festivals, and they would often ask Puffs to bring him some of their own dumplings, patties and snacks.

After all, many of the neighbours no longer live in the old alleyway and have bought new houses, while the old houses are rented out to young people who come to Sunan to work, so the faces change from time to time.

The alleyways are much livelier at night than they are during the day, with young people returning from work and grabbing a quick meal at various fast food outlets.

” Brother Shen Yu, will you marry Sister Rika in the future?”
