Chapter 185

Director Choi Dae-man, Assistant Director Park Jae-min, and Lee Han-sol, the head of the production company, were speechless.

They had only thought of foreign actors in Korea, but these were people they had never imagined.

“They both said they wanted to appear in Korean works when they came to Korea last time.”

Seo-jun, who seemed to enjoy the idea of having fun, eagerly promoted the two Hollywood actors.

Ahn Da-ho had a detached expression since Evan Block’s name was mentioned.

‘Hollywood actors in my movie? All of a sudden?’

It was something he had never thought of until 30 minutes ago. Director Choi Dae-man’s hand holding the script was shaking visibly.

‘No, that can’t be. They’re Hollywood actors. Aren’t they very busy?’

Seo-jun had a lot of free time because he had to go to school, but the two actors could be different.

Director Choi Dae-man tried to think realistically and opened his mouth with difficulty.

“Um… aren’t Evan Block and Rachel Hill busy?”

“I sent them a message yesterday and they said they’re on vacation. They’re planning to shoot Shadowman 3 next year, so they don’t have any filming schedules for this year. They have some minor things to do, though.”

Seo-jun answered perfectly with a bright smile.

‘There’s no way out for you, director’ Seo-jun’s smile seemed to say. Director Choi Dae-man swallowed his saliva. Really? Is this happening? His eyes were shaking wildly. Unlike Director Choi Dae-man, who was lost in shock, Assistant Director Park Jae-min regained his senses and was calm.

No,

‘I did well following Hyung!’

He was dancing inwardly.

My goodness.

A Korean movie with three Hollywood actors, even if he participated as an assistant director, his name value would skyrocket for sure.

Lee Han-sol, the head of the production company Dream Film, also slowly connected his thoughts.

‘Seo-jun alone would be a huge hit, but Evan Block and Rachel Hill’s appearance… Is this movie crazy?’

Lee Han-sol clenched his mouth.

He felt like screaming at the huge profit he could imagine.

If he told this news to the branch manager of Plus+Korea, he would also scream like a banshee.

Hehehe.

He had always been amazed by the branch manager’s scale, but he never thought he would pay him back like this…

He felt relieved.

Seeing the faces of the three people who failed to control their expressions, Seo-jun guessed their thoughts.

Ahn Da-ho was always letting Seo-jun do whatever he wanted.

Seo-jun smiled and continued.

“Director, what do you think? If you’re okay with it, I’ll send the script to Evan and Rachel right away. Oh, of course, Evan and Rachel might refuse.”

“!”

At Seo-jun’s last words, Director Choi Dae-man’s shaking hand stopped.

Assistant Director Park Jae-min, who was dancing inwardly at the prospect of a rosy future, and Lee Han-sol, who was imagining the huge profit and the branch manager’s surprised face, also stopped moving.

‘That’s right?’

Why didn’t they think that they might refuse?

Assistant Director Park Jae-min and Lee Han-sol’s faces were filled with immense disappointment.

Director Choi Dae-man sighed unconsciously.

It was a sigh mixed with relief and disappointment.

‘Why do I feel so sorry after dropping it so much?’

He must have unknowingly expected it while being afraid of Hollywood actors’ appearance.

Director Choi Dae-man looked at the script in his hand.

It was crumpled because he gripped it too hard when Evan Block and Rachel Hill appeared.

[Escape]

It was a script that he had worked hard on and written diligently.

Director Choi Dae-man felt a doubt about his work.

‘Will this appeal to Hollywood actors?’

He felt like he was on trial.

He felt sweaty in his hand as if he was showing the script to Seo-jun.

Seeing Director Choi Dae-man’s troubled look, Seo-jun quietly waited for his answer.

Seo-jun liked ‘Escape’. He wanted to recommend it to Evan and Rachel.

It was a good work.

It would be a good movie if good actors participated.

Director Choi Dae-man carefully unfolded the crumpled script.

He looked at Seo-jun as if he knew he had been looking at him all along.

Their eyes met.

‘Ah.’

Director Choi Dae-man realized who the actor in front of him was.

There was already a Hollywood actor who chose his work.

His work was not that bad. He felt relieved at that thought.

“Then can you contact them?”

Seo-jun smiled brightly at Director Choi Dae-man’s answer.

“Yes.”

Now it was fifty-fifty. Hoping for a good answer, Lee Han-sol said.

“We need to translate the script into English…”

“I’ll do it. I’m good at English.”

Everyone nodded at Seo-jun’s words.

After the storm of Evan Block and Rachel Hill passed, the dishes they ordered for dinner arrived a while later.

They finished preparing for dinner and sat down.

The adults, who looked tired, started to eat the delicious food.

“I don’t feel like I did much, but I’m exhausted.”

“It’s probably because you were so nervous.”

Everyone nodded at Ahn Da-ho’s words.

Unlike the adults who were physically and mentally exhausted, Seo-jun was in a happy state, thinking that he might be able to act with Evan Block and Rachel Hill after receiving the completed script.

‘This salad is delicious!’

Crunch crunch.

He would have eaten steak or meat dishes normally, but… he strangely craved vegetables lately.

‘Am I becoming more elf-like?’

His ears didn’t grow long like elves, and he didn’t feel his body changing, but it seemed like something inside him had changed.

There were elves who ate meat, but the elves in [The Archery of the (Good) Elf Archer] only ate vegetables.

‘But I don’t completely stop eating meat.’

The chicken in the chicken salad was still delicious.

The crispy fried chicken with sweet and sour dressing.

Seo-jun happily sucked in the chicken salad.

The adults saw Seo-jun eating deliciously.

They all reached for the chicken salad without knowing it.

Lee Han-sol took a bite and exclaimed.

“This is delicious.”

“I know, right? I ate it yesterday too, but why is it so good?”

Director Choi Dae-man and Park Jae-min, who had been staying at the hotel all along and eating all kinds of hotel food, shook their heads and didn’t stop their hands.

The chicken salad kept decreasing in the adults’ hands.

‘Hmm. Eat something else.’

Seeing the chicken salad plate empty, Seo-jun turned his eyes and reached for the salmon salad.

Seo-jun had been eating vegetables well lately, and Ahn Da-ho ordered various vegetable dishes when he ordered dinner.

The soft salmon, dressing, crispy lettuce and vegetables made Seo-jun smile happily.

Then the adults who emptied the chicken salad plate targeted the salmon salad next.

They did that several times.

Seo-jun and the adults who ate all the generous food looked satisfied.

“Is this hotel food always this good? I want to pack some if possible…”

“It seemed especially good today. It was a bit bland until yesterday. That’s why we bought some cup noodles.”

Lee Han-sol pointed to a corner of the living room.

All kinds of cup noodles were piled up there.

“If you contact them in advance, they will pack it for you.”

“Then I’ll order one.”

“Me too. I’ll take some to my mom and dad.”

The adults smiled warmly at Seo-jun’s words.

After a while, they spent some time resting and digesting with some trivial stories (there were many stories about Evan Block and Rachel Hill). Lee Han-sol opened his mouth.

“I looked for a special makeup team in Korea.”

They could change anything else, but the ‘zombie’ theme would not change, so they could look for it before the script was completed.

“I looked for a special makeup team in Korea, but I think we need to hire a lot of them because there are a lot of zombies and the makeup time takes long. And I think we also need a special makeup team to oversee the other teams.”

The people who were drinking their preferred tea nodded.

Seo-jun, who chose orange juice, also agreed.

Lee Han-sol handed out the list he had prepared in advance.

From the number of staff to the dramas, movies, and other works they had done.

There were also pictures of the makeup they had done to show their skills.

“Director Choi, which team do you like the most? I think we can choose that team as the main team.”

At Lee Han-sol’s question, Director Choi Dae-man, who was looking at the pictures, scratched his cheek.

They all looked good and did well.

“Hmm. What I had in mind was something like Death Wall…”

Death Wall.

At that word, Seo-jun and the three people looked up at Director Choi Dae-man.

Assistant Director Park Jae-min felt a strange sense of betrayal as he realized what kind of ‘zombie’ Director Choi Dae-man wanted.

“You’re afraid of Hollywood actors, but you’re okay with Hollywood makeup teams?”

“No. I wasn’t at first, but since the branch manager of Plus said he would help…”

Director Choi Dae-man avoided Park Jae-min’s eyes.

He thought it would be enough with the skills of the domestic makeup teams until he wrote the synopsis, but he became a little greedy while working on the script.

“Death Wall… Death Wall…”

Ahn Da-ho and Seo-jun recalled the zombies of Death Wall.

Death Wall.

It was a Hollywood zombie movie that barely escaped the R rating.

It showed vividly how people turned into zombies slowly, like a ‘zombie’ documentary.

Seo-jun didn’t care much about how disgusting the zombies were, as he was a former zombie who had been born several times as a low-level undead by mixing in graves and by the magic of a black mage.

He had even put back his popped-out eyeballs and sewed his torn belly by himself. He didn’t think it was disgusting because everyone around him was similar zombies.

‘Death Wall is not that bad.’

There were worse ones.

He remembered his zombie friends who played with their own heads in the Library of Evil.

Unlike Seo-jun, who was calm, the internet was buzzing at that time. Death Wall was a movie that showed how people turned into zombies slowly, like a ‘zombie’ documentary.

Lee Han-sol, who remembered the zombies of Death Wall, exclaimed in shock.

“It can’t be R-rated. Director!”

“No. Just the vibe. Just similar vibe. The background is a hospital, so if the makeup is too light, it doesn’t feel like a zombie movie. Just moderately heavy.”

At Director Choi Dae-man’s words, Lee Han-sol calmed down. But he didn’t forget to repeat it again.

“It can’t be R-rated. Director!”

Anything else was fine, but R-rated was absolutely not allowed.

It would drastically reduce the number of viewers.

“I know.”

Director Choi Dae-man nodded, and Lee Han-sol sighed with relief.

Assistant Director Park Jae-min, who was looking at various pictures, said.

“So there’s no team that suits your taste here?”

“It’s hard to compare because they’re not zombie makeup pictures… but I’m a bit disappointed.”

The three people fell into thought.

Then Seo-jun opened his mouth.

There was a very easy and certain way.

“How about hiring a Hollywood special makeup team as the main team?”

“…Hollywood?”

Hollywood here?

The branch manager of Plus+Korea had mentioned it before, but he had never thought about it since then. Lee Han-sol looked surprised.

Director Choi Dae-man brightened up at the words he had been waiting for.

Park Jae-min looked at him coldly with icy eyes.

He was afraid of Hollywood actors, but he was okay with Hollywood makeup teams… He was such a weird brother.

“Plus will help us too. We can make a better movie with their help. Isn’t Hollywood special makeup team okay?”

Seo-jun smiled brightly and created a second ‘Hollywood special makeup team storm’ after the first ‘Hollywood actor storm’.
