Chapter 231

The filming of Shadowman 3 continued even after the new year.

It was exhausting to keep filming, but fortunately, both the staff and the actors were putting more effort as the end of the filming approached.

“It’s strange that we didn’t get hurt at all during this filming, right?”

“There was no accident either.”

“There were some minor mistakes, but definitely less than other shootings.”

The staff and stuntmen who were preparing for the shooting chatted in wonder.

It was very smooth, even for a smooth shooting.

“Is it because of that?”

“Because of what?”

“The ritual… the ritual we did on the first day of crank-in?”

“Did you go see it?”

“Yeah. I was curious.”

The staff who attended the ritual blabbered, and the stuntmen who were a little away nodded their heads.

“Right. Reenactment. Is it really because of that?”

“Hmm.”

Kim Jae Yeon, who was watching today’s action scene on video, scratched his cheek at Kevin’s question, Evan Block’s stuntman.

“Maybe it’s just a coincidence? In Korea, there are often accidents even after doing rituals.”

“Really? I was going to suggest doing it again before the next film shooting. Oh, Jun. You’re here?”

“Hello!”

Seo-jun greeted the staff and stuntmen and smiled softly at Kim Jae Yeon’s words. [(Good)Oak Priest’s Prayer] was working well enough.

“Jae Yeon hyung. Hello.”

“You’re here, Seo-jun?”

“What are you doing?”

“I was watching the scene we’re going to do today.”

Seo-jun sat next to Kim Jae Yeon. Kim Jae Yeon showed him his phone. On the phone screen, Kim Jae Yeon and Evan Block were practicing the scene.

“Jae Yeon hyung. Are you nervous?”

“…Yeah. I made six NGs at Gyeongbokgung Palace scene.”

After finishing the shooting in Korea, the Shadowman team filmed action scenes freely at the Gyeongbokgung Palace set made by Marine Sa.

The scene that Kim Jae Yeon had to do there was jumping over the wormhole generator with a wire and stabbing a spear on top of Shadowman and being attacked by Shadowman’s shadow and crashing into the wall.

There, Kim Jae Yeon made six NGs. There was an NG where the wire got tangled, so it wasn’t entirely Kim Jae Yeon’s fault. It wasn’t a big mistake, so Ryan director shot it again without much fuss.

But each of those NGs made Kim Jae Yeon feel discouraged.

Seo-jun’s eyes moved to Kim Jae Yeon’s head, which was nervously shaking his legs.

The spring zelkova tree planted on Kim Jae Yeon’s head was very lush, unlike Kim Jae Yeon’s mind.

[Goal: Jin Natra / Fairy Tale Rate: 89%]

‘It went up quite a bit.’

Maybe today’s shooting would exceed 90%. The 90% area was something else, so Seo-jun smiled contentedly and said.

“You’ll do well.”

“…Thank you.”

Kim Jae Yeon was grateful even for empty words.

Seo-jun, who had a little conversation with Kim Jae Yeon, found Swallen Anem who had just appeared.

Seo-jun smiled brightly.

His smile seemed to shine, and Kim Jae Yeon and the stuntmen squinted their eyes.

‘He’s a superstar after all.’

Seo-jun quickly ran to Swallen Anem.

“Hello!”

“Hi, Jun. We’re shooting together from today, right?”

“Yes!”

Seo-jun smiled broadly at Swallen Anem’s words.

He had been looking forward to shooting with Swallen Anem for so long.

It was sad that it wasn’t that long.

“I’m really looking forward to it! I’ll do my best!”

At Seo-jun’s sparkling appearance, Swallen Anem burst into laughter.

“Yeah. Let’s do our best.”

“Yes!”

“Ready,”

[(Evil)Mashed Shadow Art-Low Level] is activated.]

Seo-jun’s appearance on the green chroma key was ominous.

No, it was no longer Seo-jun Lee standing there, but Jin Natra.

He was more immersed than expected.

Evan Block and Rachel Hill, who were standing in front of him, and Swallen Anem, who had just appeared, tensed up without knowing.

“…What happened?”

Swallen Anem answered Evan Block’s question.

“He said he would do his best.”

“…It’s terrifying.”

Seo-jun, who had been waiting and waiting for shooting with Swallen Anem, was amazing.

How happy he must be inside, he smiled so satisfyingly that Evan Block and Rachel Hill, who were startled by Seo-jun’s immersion, relaxed their breaths and looked at Jin Natra.

“We can’t lose either.”

Seeing the three actors immersed, Ryan director shouted loudly without any delay.

“Action!”

“I told you.”

Jin Natra, who was standing on the wormhole generator installed in New York Central Park, smiled.

Half of Jin Natra’s face was covered with black branches. And the branch on his chin was cracked and a white light was leaking out.

“I’ll take away ‘everything’ that is precious to you.”

At Jin Natra’s words, Tul Natra’s eyes slowly widened. His heart beat so hard that it hurt with anxiety. His whole body trembled.

Ah…!

Why did he realize it now?

Tul Natra finally realized that the boy in front of him was also included in the ‘precious things’ that Jin Natra was talking about.

Tul Natra’s pupils shook as he looked at Jin Natra.

Tul Natra, who had been relieved in one corner of his mind that Jin Natra would live well after finishing his revenge on himself, gasped at the words of his precious son who used his life for revenge.

How could… He didn’t know that Jin Natra would try to ruin him too.

“Father.”

At the call of father that he heard for the first time in a long time, Tul Natra shed tears without knowing.

“Bell.”

Bell Natra screamed silently.

“Shadowman.”

Shadowman looked at Jin Natra with trembling eyes.

“Choose.”

Jin Natra smiled broadly.

“Will you surrender? Earth and Natra?”

This was Jin Natra’s revenge.

If he didn’t kill Jin Natra, Earth and Natra would collide in the wormhole.

To save Earth and Natra from the wormhole, he had to kill Jin Natra, the source of energy.

The answer was obvious.

That’s why it was a cruel choice.

“Jin Natra!”

Bell Natra sobbed and shouted.

“Your father who is still alive after being forcibly inherited.”

He thought it was Jin Natra’s lingering attachment that Tul Natra, who should have died from the forced inheritance, could recover enough to fight.

“When I gave up chasing you when I was saving my father.”

He thought it was not enough resentment to kill his father when he bit the soldiers at the time when he was about to be caught.

“Why didn’t you attack New York where we are right away?”

He thought it was hesitating not to attack New York where Tul Natra and Shadowman, whom he hated the most, were.

“You lured us here!”

He thought he still considered us as family.

But it wasn’t.

He finally understood Jin Natra’s actions and Bell Natra burst into tears.

“Was it for this? Jin?”

“…Jin.”

Tul Natra, who was staggering in shock, leaned on Shadowman and barely spat out a word.

Jin Natra spread his arms wide.

He smiled brightly and innocently like the young and naive Jin Natra of that time.

“Father. Will you make me unhappy again?”

“Shadowman. Will you not save me again?”

“Bell. Will you abandon me again?”

Each word of Jin Natra stabbed the hearts of the three people.

A heavy guilt overwhelmed them.

“Now. Choose.”

Woo woo woo!

Jin Natra, who was smiling brightly, raised his hands to the wormhole generator. Black shadows swayed behind Jin Natra’s back like dancing.

The wormhole generator, which received Jin Natra’s energy, shot blue flames into the air. And the last wormhole opened.

It was Natra Kingdom, where precious memories and painful wounds were mixed.

“Cut, OK!”

***

The next shooting was a scene where the three people fought with Jin Natra who went berserk.

As there were many scenes where Jin Natra ran wild, Kim Jae Yeon’s role as a stuntman was important.

Seo-jun acted until just before the action scene, and Kim Jae Yeon continued the action as he was.

When Kim Jae Yeon’s action ended, Seo-jun immediately followed up with acting.

[Goal: Jin Natra / Fairy Tale Rate: 90%]

A thick fake magic flowed from Kim Jae Yeon’s Jin Natra, who achieved a fairy tale rate of 90%.

He wasn’t as good as Seo-jun, but it was enough to impress Evan Block and Rachel Hill, who had been watching Seo-jun’s Jin Natra for a long time, and Ryan director.

The other staff also paid attention to Seo-jun’s stuntman, Kim Jae Yeon.

He was good at action as a stuntman, but they didn’t know he could capture the atmosphere as well.

Kim Jae Yeon’s body and mind, which had been shrunk by the eyes of surprise, slowly relaxed. As he relaxed, Kim Jae Yeon’s action became more lively.

“Cut, OK!”

Seo-jun also smiled with satisfaction at Ryan director’s OK sound that seemed satisfied.

****

“Ready, action!”

Jin Natra’s shadow grew bigger.

The shadow that looked like an illusion without form only showed its presence in the hands of the Natrians.

The shadow that became like a wave turned Central Park upside down.

The three people dodged the shadow that swept over like a tsunami, overturning trees and land.

And the battle began.

As Tul Natra revealed himself, the substitutes who had no choice but to bow their heads to Jin Natra began to waver.

Already a third of the spaceship was destroyed in Korea and half of it went to Bell Natra.

Tul Natra’s appearance took away more spaceships from Jin Natra. There were only a few spaceships left for Jin Natra.

The power difference was clear, but Jin Natra’s shadow was better than that.

The shadow that dyed the ground black rose like a needle and pierced through the spaceships.

The spaceships flying in the air were fixed as they were. Some of the spaceships exploded because their engines were penetrated.

Shadowman and Bell Natra tried to stop Jin Natra by jumping around on the overturned trees and spaceships, but the power difference was clearly visible.

Kwoong!

A loud vibration rang out.

The scientist who was left on the spaceship shouted.

-It’s a sign of collision!

There wasn’t much time left.

Tul Natra, who had been hesitating to see Shadowman and Bell Natra, moved first.

He had tried to persuade him until now, but he only realized that it was useless.

Then he wanted to finish it with his sinful hands.

He didn’t want Bell or Muel to feel guilty.

Tul Natra, who bit his lips, attacked first, aiming for Jin Natra’s heart, who couldn’t control the power of the Time Stone he absorbed.

***

Bell Natra’s spear pierced Jin Natra’s right shoulder-

Shadowman’s shadow pierced Jin Natra’s right thigh-

And Tul Natra’s sword pierced Jin Natra’s left chest-

Bell Natra’s hand holding the spear trembled.

Bell Natra couldn’t bear to look at Jin Natra in front of him.

His jaw clenched with pain trembled.

Tears blurred his vision.

Shadowman, who was holding Jin Natra to help Tul Natra’s attack, gently laid down Jin Natra, who seemed to lose strength, with trembling hands.

While Tul Natra ordered the Natrians, Bell Natra quickly treated him.

Jin Natra, who was looking at them with a blank stare, slowly closed his eyes.

He looked like he fell asleep, like he was in his mother’s arms, with a comfortable face.
