Chapter 324

[Actor Lee Seo-jun, Actor Kim Jong-ho Depart!]

[Actor Kim Jong-ho Takes His First Step in Hollywood!]

[Shooting for ‘Survivors’ Begins?]

-Just looking at the articles makes me nervous haha

=22 Good luck with the shooting!

=333 I wish more Korean actors would go to Hollywood!

-Now we have one more Hollywood actor who will ‘return’!

=Well, we’ll have to wait and see if he gets any other Hollywood movies.

=There’s always a jerk like this.

After a long flight, Seo-jun and Jong-ho, the two actors, and their managers got into the car of the Kings Agency staff who came to pick them up.

Anh Da Ho and Jong-ho’s manager Im Sang-woo checked the articles on the Korean portal site and the contact from their agency.

“Uncle Jong-ho. Hyung received a message from Ji-seok.”

Jong-ho also turned on his phone after hearing Seo-jun’s words, who was checking his phone.

Lee Ji-seok: Have you arrived?

Park Do-hoon: It’s still crazy here haha

<We’ve arrived! I’m checking the articles now!

Lee Da-jin: Where are you staying? A hotel?

Jong-ho felt a bit of regret after seeing Da-jin’s message and asked Seo-jun.

“Come to think of it, I didn’t ask about the accommodation. Seo-jun, what hotel are you staying at? Is it close to the set?”

Jong-ho liked the hotel (recommended by Kings Agency) where he stayed during the audition and nodded his head, thinking that ‘Kings Agency would know best’, when Seo-jun suggested that they stay in the same place.

“Oh, it’s not a hotel. I rented a house.”

“…You rented a house?”

Jong-ho widened his eyes after hearing about the identity of the accommodation that he only learned after arriving in LA.

“Yes. It’s cheaper and more comfortable to rent a house than to stay in a hotel for a long time.”

Jong-ho was momentarily surprised by Seo-jun’s words and stroked his chin.

“A house would be comfortable, but wouldn’t it be small?”

“It’s a two-story house, so it should be fine. Do you want to see the pictures?”

Seo-jun showed Jong-ho the pictures of the accommodation he received from Kings Agency.

Jong-ho and Im Sang-woo were amazed by the two-story mansion with a garden that looked like it came out of a movie.

“The security is also thorough and there’s a car. Uncle Sang-woo, you have an international driver’s license, right?”

“I got one last time for the audition.”

Im Sang-woo smiled and said.

“I didn’t get to use it because the Kings Agency staff drove us around.”

“Then you can drive around and sightsee on days when there’s no shooting.”

“I was thinking the same thing. I saw the schedule that Kings Agency sent me and it seemed like we had plenty of time. That’s why I brought this book with me.”

Im Sang-woo took out a travel book (California edition) that he had prepared with a smile.

There were fluorescent pens and stickers all over it, showing how much he was looking forward to it.

“They say Hollywood usually sticks to the schedule, right?”

Im Sang-woo’s words made Anh Da Ho nod his head.

“Yes. Unless there’s a big problem with the weather, they usually follow the schedule strictly. They’re very meticulous about that kind of thing.”

“That’s good. In Korea… It’s less common these days, but back then they really shot according to the director’s whim.”

As Im Sang-woo spoke with a shudder, Anh Da Ho became interested.

Maybe it was because Im Sang-woo had been a manager longer than Anh Da Ho, but he naturally listened attentively.

“Uncle Jong-ho. If you want to eat Korean food, just let me know. I know all the good places in LA.”

Jong-ho nodded his head with a smile at Seo-jun’s words.

“The sundubu place we went to last time was good.”

“Right? That place is delicious.”

They arrived at their accommodation in no time as they chatted.

It was exactly the same as the big mansion they saw in the pictures.

Jong-ho and Im Sang-woo were amazed while Seo-jun, Anh Da Ho, and the agency staff got off the car with their luggage as if nothing happened.

It was big, but smaller than Aunt Nara’s mansion.

The Kings Agency staff who had unloaded all their luggage from the car opened the door of the mansion and said.

“There’s a caretaker who lives here, so you don’t have to worry about security. You can use any room except the caretaker’s room on the first floor. There’s also a car in the garage, so feel free to use it.”

The staff moved the luggage inside the mansion with the four people and asked.

“Oh, what about dinner? There’s a Korean restaurant nearby, so if I get it now, you can eat it while it’s hot.”

Jong-ho stroked his chin for a moment and nodded his head at the staff’s words.

“I think I’ll sleep a lot if I sleep now, so why don’t we fill our stomachs and sleep?”

“That sounds good.”

Seo-jun and the two managers also agreed with Jong-ho’s opinion.

They each chose a room and settled their luggage.

In the meantime, the Kings Agency staff came back with a bunch of food.

The menu was diverse and tasty, and all four of them were satisfied with their meal.

After adjusting to the time difference and waiting for the crank-in day, Jong-ho was traveling around LA with his manager Im Sang-woo.

They had been together for a long time, so they seemed to have similar tastes and wanted to go to similar places.

Seo-jun asked him to come along, but LA was a place he had visited often, so he shook his head.

Anh Da Ho approached Seo-jun, who was doing his homework in his room.

“A meeting with the lead actors?”

“Yeah. The director asked me if I wanted to meet with the actors. I guess he wants us to get along before shooting.”

Seo-jun nodded his head.

“Well, I only know Davis anyway.”

Milan Chellen had a brief conversation with him at the awards ceremony, and he had never met Vanessa Olsen and Andrew Walker, who appeared together.

“Then I’ll accept it.”

“Okay.”

Anh Da Ho left and Seo-jun looked at the math problem for a while.

He spun his pen and recalled old memories.

Come to think of it, he also met with Ryan, Evan, and Rachel before shooting Shadowman 2.

He hoped that this meeting would be a good one too and focused on the math problem again.

***

Today was the first meeting of the lead actors and director of ‘Survivors’.

The five actors and Jeffrey, the director, decided to have dinner and chat.

Davis Garrett, who left home leisurely, arrived at the restaurant earlier than the appointment time.

He said his name was ‘Bearound’ and the staff guided him inside.

There were already people in the private room.

Jeffrey, the director, Milan Chellen, and a kid, and a man who looked like the kid’s guardian were sitting there.

“You guys came early.”

“Welcome. Davis.”

“Davis. Long time no see.”

Jeffrey got up from his seat and greeted Davis Garrett. Milan Chellen also shook hands with Davis Garrett.

Davis Garrett and Milan Chellen had worked together on a movie before.

“Hello. I’m Andrew Walker!”

Davis Garrett and Milan Chellen laughed at Andrew Walker’s cheerful greeting.

They had read the disappointment on Andrew Walker’s face when Davis Garrett entered as the door opened.

It seemed that he was still a kid who couldn’t hide his feelings on his face. But seeing that disappointment disappear quickly, Davis Garrett liked him too.

“Hmm. A little hurt to my pride?”Redbone, the most popular hero, whispered to Milan Chellen, who was sitting next to him.

“He was like this when I came in too.”

“Yeah? I have a rough idea of who he’s waiting for.”

Davis Garrett and Milan Chellen looked at Andrew with a smirk.

Andrew Walker’s attention was focused on the door.

He was still as a statue, like a dog who heard ‘wait’.

His dad, who was sitting next to him, seemed used to his son’s behavior and chatted with Jeffrey, the director.

“You don’t need to prepare any clothes. We have costumes ready for you.”

“I see. What do we do if Andy gets sick?”

Andrew Walker only looked at the door and Davis Garrett and Milan Chellen made small talk.

Soon, there was a knock on the door.

Andrew Walker’s shoulders tensed up at the same time.

His chubby cheeks turned red and his eyes didn’t move.

He seemed to stop breathing.

The adults smiled and held their breath.

“Hello.”

The person who entered the door was a woman.

It wasn’t the actor he was waiting for, so Andrew’s shoulders drooped in disappointment.

Davis Garrett and Milan Chellen chuckled.

“I’m Vanessa Olsen. It’s really nice to meet you all.”

Vanessa Olsen greeted the actors she met for the first time through this movie shoot.

“I loved your movie. I look forward to working with you.”

“Thank you!”

She was nervous to shoot with a superstar and an Academy Award nominee.

Vanessa Olsen’s cheeks flushed slightly as she sat down, and Davis Garrett smiled and said.

“Now we just need Jun to come.”

As soon as he heard the name ‘Jun’, Andrew turned his head reflexively.

His dad laughed at his son who had become a successful fanboy.

They say a tiger comes when you talk about it, and there was another knock on the door.

Andrew Walker bounced on his seat at the appearance of the actor he had been waiting for.

“Hello!”

He gasped at the sight of Seo-jun Lee, who smiled brightly.

Andrew, who had been greeting everyone cheerfully, froze.

Even Jeffrey, the director, smiled softly and opened his mouth.

“Welcome. Jun.”

“Hello, director! Davis too. Long time no see. Chellen!”

Jun greeted Jeffrey, the director, and Davis Garrett, then shook hands with Milan Chellen, whom he hadn’t seen in a long time.

Milan Chellen also sincerely welcomed Jun’s hand.

“Nice to meet you. Olsen.”

“Call me Vanessa. Can I call you Jun?”

“Yes. Of course.”

After greeting Vanessa Olsen, whom he met for the first time, Seo-jun looked at the boy who stood stiffly next to his chair.

His face showed excitement and nervousness.

“Nice to meet you. Walker.”

Seo-jun bent one knee to meet Andrew’s eyes and reached out his right hand.

Andrew grabbed Seo-jun’s hand with his trembling hand.

His heart pounded as he saw the actor he had only seen on screen in front of him.

“Hi… Hi! Lee! I’m Andrew Walker! Call me Andy! That’s my nickname! My mom and dad call me that too! And, and…”

He couldn’t remember the greeting he had prepared for today.

What was Jun’s first work that he saw? Which movie did he like best among Jun’s movies?

Seo-jun was good at acting and playing violin, so he was learning violin too.

He had so many things he wanted to say, but none of them came to mind.

“And…”

He was usually cheerful and good at memorizing scripts or his favorite books, but this rarely happened to Andrew.

He panicked and started to pout his lips.

He looked like he was about to cry any moment, and the adults didn’t know whether to laugh or comfort him.

Seo-jun saw Andrew’s teary eyes and gently blew warm air into his heart.

He smiled softly and said.

“Hi, Andy. Do you have something you want to say to me?”

At Jun’s words, Andrew bit his lips and nodded his head, holding back his tears.

“Then think about it slowly and tell me. I’ll wait for you.”

The warm air calmed Andrew’s heart slowly.

The adults were surprised by Jun’s skill. He’s good with kids too.

Davis said and Milan Chellen and Vanessa Olsen agreed.

Andrew said the most important thing he had prepared.

“…Can I call you Jun?”

“Of course. Why not?”

Andrew smiled brightly with tears in his eyes at Seo-jun’s words.

His dad laughed at his son who had become a successful fanboy.

After greeting each other, they all sat down.

Thanks to the invisible hands of the adults, Seo-jun sat next to Andrew.

Everyone laughed at Andrew’s bright smile.
