Chapter 531

“Hello, this is Moviegoer!”

-Youngha!

-Hayoung!

“Hi, everyone. Nice to see you all. It’s late at night, but there are still many of you watching. It’s 12:55 a.m. In five minutes, the video of violinist Jason Moore’s concert will be released. Why am I showing you a concert video instead of a movie? Because Grey Bynie is in it!”

-Moviegoer is the one who started the world tour, right? LOL

-How can I miss it when Grey Bynie is in it? LOL

“I don’t know how well he’ll show up as one of the orchestra members, but as a fan of Grey Bynie, I have to watch it! But waiting like this reminds me of when I was waiting for the director’s cut of Survivors.”

-LOL, that was really LOL

-I was so clueless back then LOL

-I was so excited, but my expression gradually soured…

“But I think I don’t need to brace myself for this one, since it’s a concert. It was shocking that it was a live recording, though.”

-At this point, I want to know objectively. How good is Lee Seo-jun’s violin skills?

-222 Isn’t he good enough to enter a competition?

-I wouldn’t believe it even if he won a prize LOL

-Maybe we’ll see a news article saying ‘Actor Lee Seo-jun wins a concours’ LOL

“I wouldn’t be surprised if that happened to actor Lee Seo-jun, who always makes headlines in unexpected places.”

Moviegoer laughed and found a comment.

-I don’t know anything about classical music, but I think I’ll enjoy it…

“Me neither. I don’t know anything about classical music. I’m just a fan of Over the Rainbow. But hey, you don’t need a qualification to enjoy music, right?”

Moviegoer nodded and opened a new notice on [From Sprouts], the monitor.

“There’s an event I want to tell you about, Over the Rainbow fans. It’s an event hosted by From Sprouts, the fan cafe of actor Lee Seo-jun. It will probably take place in about a month.”

-What kind of event is it?

“How do you watch Plus? On your phone, laptop, TV, etc.? Some of you might not like the sound from the speakers and the small screen.”

Moviegoer slowly showed the viewers the post [Notice: Violinist Jason Moore’s Concert Screening Scheduled].

“We’ve prepared something for you at From Sprouts. We’re going to rent a movie theater and screen the live video that will be uploaded on Plus. It’s an event in collaboration with Cocoa Enter, and we’ll also sell various souvenirs.”

There were image cuts of the souvenirs on the notice.

Jason Moore’s poster, a group photo poster of the orchestra members, a pamphlet with G.B.’s name included, which Cocoa Enter reproduced, and a photo of Grey Bynie on stage.

“I hope you’ll check it out if you’re interested.”

– Is there no commemorative ticket? I didn’t buy it because I wasn’t interested back then

-22 Me too, I watched the movie late and I really wanted it

-That’s why you should join the fandom sooner.

-What’s the point of joining early I lost my commemorative ticket when I moved

-It would be nice if they made new commemorative tickets.

Moviegoer said with a regretful face.

“The commemorative tickets are managed by Whale Studio, so it might be difficult. Besides, this concert is not Grey Bynie’s concert, but Jason Moore’s concert.”

– Give us Over the Rainbow 2

-Or re-screen it and sell commemorative tickets

-They don’t sell it even though we’re giving them money…

“I know, right.”

Moviegoer chatted with the viewers about Whale Studio for a while and then looked at the clock.

“It’s past 1 o’clock. Well, let’s watch the concert now. Because of the copyright, you won’t see or hear the screen, only my face. Like a reaction video. And in the first part, only Jason Moore’s solo will be shown, and in the second part, Grey Bynie, actor Lee Seo-jun will appear, so if you want to see actor Lee Seo-jun, you can watch from the second part.”

Moviegoer went to the living room and sat in front of the TV he had set up in advance. He went to Plus+ and saw that the live video was already uploaded.

“Then I’ll start watching now.”

-I’m going to watch it too… I hope I don’t fall asleep…

-222 I think I’ll fall asleep too LOL

-Wake me up when the second part starts!

Moviegoer swallowed the words that he felt the same way and sat on the sofa. He could watch a boring movie fairly well.

‘Classical music is boring…’

He thought that maybe he would be less sleepy if he thought of it as a spin-off of Over the Rainbow, and pressed the play button.

Soon, applause sounded from the state-of-the-art speakers, as if to prove that it was live.

Violinist Jason Moore walked onto the stage with a grand piano, and rested his chin on the violin.

‘That’s the Stradivarius that Grey Bynie played in Over the Rainbow. I’ll have to add an explanation to the edited video.’

In the silence.

When Moviegoer was thinking about the subtitles for the edited video,

—-!

A fierce first note exploded.

Moviegoer’s upper body reflexively straightened up, as he had been a bit relaxed, intending to enjoy it leisurely. The viewers who were yawning and moving their sluggish bodies in the late hour also flinched and looked at the screen.

A storm swept over.

The melody of a single violin, which was unbelievable, pierced the ears of Moviegoer and the viewers like thunder, and shook their whole bodies. It felt like goosebumps.

‘…That’s Jason Moore.’

The name of violinist Jason Moore penetrated the brains of people who had no interest in classical music.

The first part, which felt like choking, passed, and only when there was a short break, Moviegoer and the viewers were able to breathe.

Wow, Moviegoer turned on the sound quickly. Comments were pouring in nonstop.

-…Wow… What is this…

-They said it was classical… Classical…

-This is not the classical music I know!

“Uh, I don’t know much about classical music either… But it’s amazing. Honestly, I was only waiting for the second part, but now I understand why the people who watched the concert praised it so much.”

-But this is not as good as the live.

-Really? You saw the live?

-Yeah, this is impressive too, but the live was really… I couldn’t stop clapping.

-Wow… More than this? I can’t imagine;;;

-I have to go to the movie theater to see this…

-Look forward to the second part.

“Yes! The second part is starting now.”

On the stage, the orchestra members sat on chairs.

Moviegoer tried to find Lee Seo-jun among the first violins. He thought he saw a familiar face among the unfamiliar foreigners, when the conductor waved his baton and the orchestra’s heavy first note burst out.

At that sound, he felt like all his thoughts were taken away.

He had no room to think about anything else.

The orchestra stormed, Jason Moore continued his breathtaking performance, and then the orchestra flowed softly, like a heartbeat, and the violin sound pierced like a sharp sword.

He was listening with his mouth open, unaware of the passing time.

Before I knew it, the performers on the screen were bowing to the audience. I only snapped out of it when I heard Jason Moore’s voice, just like the viewers in the video.

“This is insane…!”

I exclaimed and sent a fervent applause to the performers, even though they couldn’t hear me. Then, a sudden thought made me gasp and open my mouth wide.

“…Wait, is that Lee Seo-jun, the actor?”

***

“Shouldn’t Seo-jun go to the concours? The articles are all over the place!”

“I know, right?”

Park I-deun and Jung Eun-sung were heading to the library, talking about the [Jason Moore’s Concert] that was uploaded on Plus+ last night.

The internet was buzzing with the same topic.

Even those who thought ‘Seo-jun would do well!’ were amazed by the stage that surpassed their imagination and wondered ‘Is that really Seo-jun here?’.

But they couldn’t deny it, since the video clearly showed him.

-He should really go to the concours (serious)

-I thought he was decent… but he’s pro-level;;;

-I can’t believe there’s a current actor in that orchestra no matter how many times I listen.

-22 and he’s only 20 now.

-Jason Moore was awesome too.

“The foreign reactions were similar. They all said they understood why it was praised so much. They were surprised that there was a non-professional among the performers.”

“He’s not a non-professional!”

Park I-deun laughed at Jung Eun-sung’s remark and pressed the password for the library door lock.

As they opened the door and entered, they saw Seo-jun sitting on a metal chair, reading a script, among the many bookshelves.

Seo-jun had been coming to Cocoa Entertainment every day since he returned from his European trip, and he rarely left the library, as if he had honey on it. Usually, An Da-ho would contact him or pick him up, but today he had an interview, so he asked Park I-deun and Jung Eun-sung to do it.

There were two boxes in front of Seo-jun, one for the scripts to be taken to the new building and one for the scripts to be discarded.

“Is it just me or is the box for the scripts to be taken full?”

“No.”

Jung Eun-sung nodded at Park I-deun’s whisper. The sound echoed in the quiet library. Seo-jun looked up.

“Huh? Why are you guys here?”

“Team Leader An asked us to. Let’s go eat.”

“Today’s LA ribs!”

“Oh, okay. Just a sec.”

Seo-jun sorted out the scripts he had piled up next to him. He took out three books that he had apparently read and put the rest in the ‘take’ box. Park I-deun looked at the two boxes alternately and said.

“Are you sure you’re only taking the important ones?”

“Uh-huh. Right?”

“…Why are you avoiding my eyes?”

Park I-deun grabbed Seo-jun’s shoulder and shook it, making Jung Eun-sung smile and say.

“It’s like that. The clothes you put aside to wear later and never wear.”

“Yeah! Just sort them out, you’re not going to read them in the library anyway!”

“No, but.”

Seo-jun rolled his eyes and protested.

“They’re precious.”

“You’re going to make the new building library explode if you keep thinking they’re precious?”

“Da-ho hyung said he’d make another library if we run out of space.”

At Seo-jun’s words, Park I-deun and Jung Eun-sung sighed.

That was the power of the president’s nephew. No, was it the power of a successful actor, since Team Leader An said he’d make it?

“Then I guess you can take everything.”

“Eun-sung. Should we ask him to make another practice room for us? Or a recording studio.”

“Oh. You want to practice more? You’re diligent, Park I-deun.”

“…No! I think I’m fine without it.”

Park I-deun shook his head with a disgusted expression, making Seo-jun and Jung Eun-sung laugh.

“But didn’t you say the new people would help?”

“Even if they help, I think I need to review them again. I can trust Da-ho hyung or Team Leader hyung or noona, but I’m a bit nervous about the new employees.”

Jung Eun-sung nodded at Seo-jun’s words and looked around the library.

“I have a feeling this library will go to the new building as it is.”

Seo-jun also felt the same and laughed.

Cocoa Entertainment interview room.

Cocoa Entertainment’s president Seo Eun-chan, actor team leader An Da-ho, and PR team leader Kim Su-ryeon were discussing the manager interviews. The managers they were hiring this time were all going to be in the actor team, so the singer team leaders didn’t participate.

“How are the actors’ reactions?”

“Most of them agreed. Those who have contracts left also said they would come when the period ends.”

“Most of them means there are some who don’t come.”

Kim Su-ryeon nodded at An Da-ho’s words.

“They seem to doubt the ability of the actor team.”

“The ability? Seo-jun is here, isn’t he?”

“That’s why.”

Kim Su-ryeon answered Seo Eun-chan’s puzzled question.

“Seo-jun is, well, he grew up on his own rather than with Cocoa Entertainment’s support. He did well on his own until Shadowman 2, and even after that, we got the works before we did anything.”

“Yes. So there were some who doubted us.”

They had enough ability to support a superstar.

But what about rookies? Unknown actors? Mid-level actors?

If they took out Lee Seo-jun, the actor, Cocoa Entertainment’s actor team was almost new to raising actors, or so they thought.

Seo Eun-chan nodded as he understood An Da-ho’s explanation.

“There’s nothing we can do if they don’t come. Well, it’s a reasonable reason, but the actor team didn’t just spend 12 years, did they? Let’s work hard to raise the actors who trusted us and make them regret it.”

Seo Eun-chan’s words made Kim Su-ryeon and An Da-ho smile and nod.

They were talking about the actors who would join Cocoa Entertainment and the managers and stylists they would bring with them, as the interview time was getting closer.

Seo Eun-chan was flipping through the resumes and the information that the actor team had investigated.

“Hmm. Team Leader An.”

“Yes. President.”

“I’ve been curious since I got the resume… Did you really hire this person?”

“Yes.”

“Really?”

“Yes.”

“Why?”

As Seo Eun-chan asked persistently, his wife Kim Su-ryeon whispered ‘Team Leader An must have a reason!’ and poked her husband’s side. Seo Eun-chan grabbed his side and groaned, making An Da-ho smile bitterly and look at the information that the actor team had investigated.

-Fired from a company for embezzlement.

It was a sentence that made Seo Eun-chan’s reaction understandable.
