Chapter 666

Kim Soohan waited in a corner of the movie theater with his earphones on and his hat pulled down low, until the previous screening was over.

He wore earphones to avoid hearing any spoilers from the people who had seen [Over the Rainbow 2] (or those who had watched it on Universe and came to see another movie). He wore a hat because he didn’t want to be recognized as ‘Na Jin’s first fan’, which might cause some commotion.

Director Kim Soohan wouldn’t have worn a hat if it was a normal movie theater.

He wasn’t so famous that ordinary people would notice him.

But this was a special place.

It was filled with fans of actor Lee Seo-jun, the Sprouts.

Among the Sprouts, who quickly spread the information about Seo-jun’s new manager, it was easy to spot Director Kim Soohan, who had been in the news as a devoted fan of ‘Na Jin’ for a long time.

‘Well, it won’t be too noisy, I guess.’

They all came to see Seo-jun’s first work after his military discharge, [Over the Rainbow 2], so they wouldn’t pay much attention to Kim Soohan. But Kim Soohan wanted to watch the movie as quietly as possible.

-Are you at the theater?

<Yeah, it’s about to start.

<Have you seen it?

-Unfortunately, I watched it on Universe.

-I should have seen it at the theater…

His high school friends, who always hung out with him, were too busy to come with him. Kim Soohan smiled, thinking that it was better to be busy than to have nothing to do.

-This kind of movie should be seen at the theater!

<The screen is big and the sound system is good here

<They say it feels like listening to a live performance

Of course, they didn’t miss the chance to tease him. As the messages from his friends who couldn’t come because of work poured in, Kim Soohan chuckled. His friends seemed to be more excited.

-Gray performed in New York.

Kim Soohan quickly turned off the Banana Talk group chat.

They weren’t the ones who would spoil the movie, but there was always a chance.

“Screen 5, Over the Rainbow 2 private screening! Please enter!”

It was time to go in.

“They’re showing Over the Rainbow 2 at the theater?”

The ordinary people who came to see other movies looked up at the announcement.

They had heard that the movie was released on Universe, but they didn’t know that they could see it at the theater.

“Let’s watch that.”

“Is there a seat for Over the Rainbow 2?”

“No, sorry. That’s a private screening by the fans, so we’re not selling tickets.”

Kim Soohan and the Sprouts entered the screening room with a smug look on their faces, listening to the conversation between the ordinary people and the theater staff.

The slightly dark space.

He felt his heart pounding as he sat in his assigned seat.

It reminded him of the audience seats in the concert hall when he watched [Over the Rainbow 1].

Kim Soohan touched the commemorative ticket for the first movie that he had bought at the pop-up store.

The impression from that time was still fresh even after 10 years.

He also took out the commemorative ticket for the second movie that was in another envelope.

[Kim Soohan. Thank you for your deep friendship and love.]

[Your friend, Gray Vainy.]

Heeheehee.

He laughed like a fool.

‘Well, I am an old friend, after all.’

He had been friends with ‘Gray Vainy’ for 10 years, and with ‘Lee Seo-jun’ for 15 years.

He was looking forward to seeing what kind of acting and performance his old friend would show him.

While Kim Soohan and the Sprouts were waiting for the movie to start with excitement, the messages piled up on the Banana Talk group chat that Kim Soohan had turned off.

-He was accused of being a murderer.

-Yeah, there’s a chase scene too.

-AyKim Soohan ran away.

-YeahWe could have hooked him

-But isn’t the murderer thing too random

-22 Over the Rainbow suddenly becomes a crime thriller

-They should have said he had an accident.

-Did you bring tissues?

-Oh. What’s up? Aren’t you busy these days?

-Yeah. I barely have time to sleep, but I have time to watch a movie?

-It’s Seo-jun’s movie, I have to watch it.

-Hey! Seo-jun? He’s your senior! Senior!

-But Seo-jun’s career is so long that there’s no actor who’s not his junior these days

-Right

***

“Seo-jun senior!”

“No, don’t say that. Chanhee hyung!”

The youngest actor of Cocoa Entertainment, Kim Chanhee (who was still older than Seo-jun) hugged him with a grin, and Seo-jun shivered as if he was uncomfortable. The other actors also joined in, saying “Senior! Senior!”

In the entertainment industry, where career was important, Seo-jun was somewhat used to being called a senior, but hearing it from his close friends was nothing but teasing.

But he couldn’t help but laugh at the sight of the actors who brought him popcorn, drinks, and snacks.

They were treating him like a younger brother, even though they called him a senior.

Bae Seungwon and Kwon Kangmin, who arrived a bit late because of a meeting, smiled at the scene.

“I didn’t think we would get along so well when we first came in.”

“That’s right.”

Unknown and famous.

They had a big difference in their careers, but they were comfortable with each other as they were the same age and belonged to the same agency.

They were Baeseungwon and Kwon Kangmin, who were also passionate about acting and enjoyed sharing stories.

“Are you guys here?”

“Oppa! It’s starting soon!”

Well, all the actors of Cocoa Entertainment were like that.

There was bound to be a weirdo among so many people, but how could they only pick actors who loved acting so much? Kwon Kangmin thought, ‘It must be Cocoa Entertainment.’

“Do you guys want some popcorn?”

Seo-jun asked, and Baeseungwon smiled and said,

“Well, I don’t know if I can eat properly while watching the movie.”

“I brought a lot of tissues!”

This was the multipurpose hall on the third floor of Cocoa Entertainment.

Originally, it was a place where singers and trainees of the singer team could experience the stage, or where Cocoa Entertainment’s group meetings were held, and presentations were made on the stage. But today, they were going to screen [Over the Rainbow: For My Friend].

Not only the actors, but also the singers, trainees, and staff could come and watch. Of course, they couldn’t all leave their seats at the same time, so they had to take turns.

“It’s better here than the movie theater, right?”

“Of course. The sound system here alone is worth a lot.”

“Director An brought in new ones when he came back from the US this time.”

“Oh!”

There were also the seniors, Brown Black and White.

Unlike the Red Crown and Blue Moon members who were chatting comfortably with the seniors, there were also rookie girl group Amber and male trainees who came without much thought, saying, ‘It’s Seo-jun’s senior’s movie! I like it!’ and became timid.

“Did Seo-jun give you the Seo-jun shield?”

“That’s really convenient.”

“It’s good to use when you’re having a hard time. It works for the staff too, so Amber, you guys should try it too.”

“Yes! Seo-jun’s senior told us last time!”

Thanks to the kindness of Red Crown and Blue Moon, who they respected and liked, they soon relaxed and became comfortable.

“I don’t know why the topic is Seo-jun’s shield, though.”

At the words of Kim Sangwoo, the director of the singer team, President Seo Eunchan and Director Ahn Da Ho of the actor team smiled faintly.

The atmosphere was good, but they might faint if they knew that the three of them were sitting in the back seat.

“It’s nice to be noisy.”

“That’s right.”

The staff of the actor team smiled and greeted the actors.

They were so passionate that even in this short time, they saw actors talking to their managers. The singer team was the same.

“They all have ambition for their work. The actor team too, right?”

“Yes. The results are good too.”

Director Kim Sangjin nodded at Director Ahn Da Ho’s words.

‘The name of ‘an actor from the same agency as Seo-jun’ was heavy, but they all worked hard to show their skills, no, more than that.

Kwon Kangmin, who was already a lead actor, rose to a higher position, and the actors who were unknown or rookies also attracted attention with their fresh faces and secured their places as main and supporting actors.

Only two years.

The recognition of Cocoa Entertainment’s actors was solid enough to make the phrase ‘as expected of Cocoa Entertainment’s actors’.

“It’s really good.”

Seo Eunchan and Kim Sangjin smiled brightly, recalling the old days when Brown Black practiced in an old office. Director Ahn Da Ho also smiled, looking at Seo-jun who was talking happily with the actors.

He hoped that they would continue to enjoy and be happy together as they had been for a long time.

“Then, we will now watch Over the Rainbow 2: For My Friend!”

At the words of the staff of the publicity team, everyone quietly closed their mouths and looked ahead with sparkling eyes.

A screen as big as a movie theater came down, and the sound came from the latest sound system that Director Ahn Da Ho bought from the US last month.

‘It’s the first time I’m watching it with everyone like this.’

Seo-jun smiled brightly.

It was nice to watch it with friends, but it was also nice to watch it with the Cocoa Entertainment family.

He didn’t feel uncomfortable watching movies while hiding his presence among ordinary people, but now it was fun that he didn’t have to hide his identity.

The movie started and Seo-jun focused. Of course, he knew the story because he acted in it himself, but there were scenes he wanted to see.

The old musician and the three musketeers.

He thought they were just musicians hired by the production company at the time, but after hearing the story, he felt completely different. He didn’t look at them closely because he was focused on acting at the time.

You can only see it when you know it.

Is this what it means?

The old musician’s performance was heard. He had a smiling face.

He thought he had that expression because he was a musician and enjoyed playing music itself, but he felt happy to be able to play music for ‘me’.

The three musketeers were the same.

They looked happy playing music. He didn’t think they were alcoholics before.

He was touched by their appearance of appearing like this to play for ‘me’ and to express their gratitude.

It might be a clumsy performance for someone, but for Seo-jun, they were the most beautiful performances.

As Seo-jun listened to the performances, his head sparkled.

Sniff-

Seo-jun quietly handed a tissue to Kim Chanhee. He was so emotional that he was already crying. He glanced at the side and saw that Kwon Kangmin’s eyes were red.

Anyone in any profession can feel a slump.

Soon, [Good Afternoon] flowed from the speaker.

Wow-

The side where the singer team was sitting was noisy. The new speaker was amazing.

It was not as good as the live performance, but it preserved some of the vividness of the time.

[Good Evening], [Lullaby] and [Good Night], and [Good Morning].

The actors’ acting, the performances, and the songs.

The directing, the story, and the editing.

There was nothing missing.

Director Ahn Da Ho, who was watching the screen, thought it was a pity.

He couldn’t go to the Academy Awards because he didn’t go to the movie theater. He didn’t know about the others, but he was sure he would get the music award.

But the popularity would be tremendous. Director Ahn Da Ho smiled brightly and looked at the screen again.

As the end of the movie approached, there were sounds of (silent) crying and tissues were passed around.

The audience of the Bread Hall was more moved after knowing the identity of the audience.

The Blue Moon members were moved when they learned the identity of the performers.

It was a performance with many mistakes, but they thought it was better than the usual performances, and they realized that it was because of the performers’ hearts and sincerity in the performance.

‘Music is so amazing!’

The Blue Moon members exclaimed with pure hearts.

[All the bonds have reached their maximum.]

Seo-jun’s expression was a little awkward.

[(Sun)Orchestra Conductor’s Connection Level Increases.]

[(Sun)Orchestra Conductor’s Connection Level Increases from Intermediate to Upper Intermediate.]

He couldn’t cry or laugh.

[(Sun)Orchestra Conductor’s Connection-Upper Intermediate-]

The music skills of the beings connected to the conductor vary up to 6 times depending on the bond with the conductor.

The bond with the conductor and the bond with the connectors are expressed in numbers.

Maximum connection: 30 (5/30)

He felt like he could see the laughing tree of the spirit, and Seo-jun touched his forehead.
