After Shen Yu finishes his mission, he with the others returned to the previous abandoned castle. At this time, the 11th Division now occupies the castle and the surrounding area. Multiple members of the 11th Division was patrolling the area around the castle. If some magical beasts gets near to them, they will instantly attack it and bring it corpse back to the castle.

Aside from magical beasts, they also encounters a group of human sneaking around them. They attack and killed some of them while capturing their leader alive.

After several days of fusing with the hogyoku and familiarizing himself with his new powers and abilities. Shen Yu now wanted to meet the captured leader.

Under the castle, the 11th Division previously discovered an underground prison. There are many prison cells in there and many other what looks like torturing devices. As Shen Yu walked in the dark, there is a horrible stench in the air that could make ordinary people vomit. In one of the prison cells in the dark corner, there was a man lying in the ground with with chains on his four limbs.

Staring at the man, Shen Yu noticed that the man was wearing a blood red robes. His appearance is miserable and there is a desolate light in his eyes. Looking at the clothes of the man, Shen Yu recognizes it. That red clothes is what the members of the Blood Thorn Sect wears.

Blood Thorn Sect, Shadow Star Tower and Ghost Corpse Sect are the three sect or forces that composed the Evil Alliance. The three forces banded together to form this alliance in battling against what they so called righteous sect.

With Blood Thorn Sect being one of them, the actions of its disciples is vile and vicious. They would abduct people from common cities or villagers and drain their blood to refine it. After they finishes refining the blood, they would then absorb it to their body to increase their cultivation. Because of their actions, they would occasionally fight against members of the righteous sects.

"W...who are you?" the member of the Blood Thorn Sect asked weakly as he slowly raise his head. His disheveled long hair was scattered around wet and was sticking to his face and body.

"I am the master of this place. Tell me, what is a disciple of the Blood Thorn Sect doing in sneaking near my territory?" standing just outside the cell with the steel bars between them, Shen Yu asked the man. His expression was not serious nor happy, there is just a black emotion on his face.

The man's body slightly trembled when he heard Shen Yu speak, a weak smile surfaced on his face and said, "Since you knew that I am a member of the Blood Thorn Sect, you should already guess why I'm here right?"

"I see, then I'm gonna ask you. Where are your sect located? If you answer me I can let you live" Shen Yu crouch down and asked.

"He he he, do you really think I would tell you where my sect are? I can see that you're still young, I'm just gonna give you a warning. Act like a good kid and don't meddle in a.d.u.l.ts work" with a laugh that is clearly mocking Shen Yu, the man said with contempt.

Feeling that the man clearly didn't put him in his eyes with his obvious disrespect towards him. Shen Yu decided not to bother with the man anymore. He stand up and turn around to leave, but before walking away he said, "From your tone, I can clearly feel that you are quite proud of being a disciple of your sect. And because of that you also feel that you are powerful. But let me tell you this, your sect which you looked up to as powerful might not be powerful in others eyes. It is just that your sect doesn't encounter a being that can make them feel hopeless"

After talking, Shen Yu proceeded to walk forward and leave the prison. Just as he leave, a sound of flesh getting cut accompanied by a short cry echoed in the prison. The disciple of the Blood Thorn Sect was killed and his body was to be thrown outside to attract some magical beasts.

Shen Yu could feel that after fusing with the hogyoku, he could feel some changes in him. Not only in terms of power and abilities, but also in his personality. His personality goes under huge changes and there is a huge d.e.s.i.r.e in the bottom of his heart that was currently rising up. It is the d.e.s.i.r.e to fight, to conquer, and to sit in the top of the world.

Inside in one of the room in the castle, Shen Yu was sitting together with some of his summons. There was Sakazuki, Kenpachi Zaraki with Yachiru, and Esdeath.

"Are the preparations I said already done?" Shen Yu asked Esdeath who was sitting beside him.

A wide smile formed in Esdeath's lips and replied, "This servant already finished its preparations earlier. I was just waiting for young master's command and we can move at any time"

"Good, with your strength and 100 members of the 11th Division. Taking control over a small city will be easy" he said to Shen Yu.

"This servant promises to finish this mission without any troubles" Esdeath replied. The cold air around her body froze the chair where she was sitting.

"Don't be a little excited, I and Sakazuki will come with you. You focus on your mission while we do something about the possible reinforcements coming from outside the city" Shen Yu said while feeling quite pleased with Esdeath's attitude.

He then turned to Kenpachi and Yachiru and said, "I estimated that the Blood Thorn Sect will send another batch of people to investigate what happened here. Your task is to intercept and stop them. You are free to kill them at your will"

While they were discussing in the room, Shen Yu furrowed his brows and felt several presence coming near the castle. He activated his byakugan and look at the direction on where the presence was coming.

Seeing Shen Yu move, the others also felt that there are several presence coming to the castle.

"It seems we have several visitors this time. Lets give them a warm welcome, follow me"
