It has been five days since Leng Ning and the others depart to Spring Breeze City. But up until now Elder Du, Leng Ning's master and an elder in Azure Dragon Sect still had not received any news regarding his disciples whereabouts. He already had a bad premonition about this as the people he sent to Spring Breeze City to check on the situation never returns.

Also, Great Elder Shen of the Shen Family also didn't return. Elder Du knew that something bad happen and he just wouldn't sit still doing nothing. Inside his room, Elder Du who was on his bed n.a.k.e.d look down at the woman beside him. This woman is one of the servants in the palace that was to serve him personally.

"You send a message to the emperor and tell him I have something important to say to him" Elder Du says as he stood up and went down the bed. He then takes out a set of clean clothes in his space ring and wears it.

After several minutes, the woman servant came out of the room with red face and rushed to deliver the message.

Left inside the room, Elder Du look out of the window and fall into a deep thought. 'Its just less than a month before the wedding between Leng Ning and the eldest princess happens. After that, we need to bring her back to the sect to meet the sect master. But before that, I need to make sure that everything here is prepared'

At the same time in the Shen Family Residence, Patriarch Shen was doing everything he can do to find out what happened to the Great Elder who didn't return. Just like Elder Du, he had also send someone to investigate what happened to Leng Ning's group. However, he failed in the end and find no traces of Leng Ning and the others.

With the Great Elder's whereabouts currently unknown, the situation of the Shen Family in the capital is not good. The Great Elder has a huge prestige and reputation not only in the Shen Family, but also in the whole capital. Furthermore, the Great Elder acts as one of the protector of the Shen Family and he prevents other forces like the Jin Family in making a move against the Shen Family.

But with him gone, the Jin Family who acts like a beast hiding behind the tall grasses all this years might take this chance to stir up some trouble for them. Even with the Shen Family's connection to the Imperial Family, it still wouldn't be enough to stop them. Although they can't do it openly, they can always act behind the scenes which would make everything much more difficult and complicated for them.

Behind Patriarch Shen, a beautiful woman was standing holding a glass of wine on her jade like arms. "Husband, don't worry about Great Elder's situation for now. He's one of the strongest people in the empire, do you think something bad will really happen to him. I think he was just having fun with some young ladies somewhere and decided to take a little break"

Patriarch Shen's stiff face turned a little softer and turn to the woman behind him. This woman is his wife that he loves the most, and the mother of his first child that they abandoned, Gu Qianyu.

Holding his wife's waist, patriarch Shen said, "Wife, do you believe in what the second princess and Shen Lin said when they returned from the auction. Do you really think that that trash child back then really had the capabilities to do what they've said?"

Listening to her husband's words, a stunned expression appeared in Gu Qianyu's face. But it was gone in an instant and was replaced by a crafty smile, "What do you think we should do if what they said is really true? Don't worry about that, if it is really true we can just send someone to talk to him and take him back to the family. Just say that we miss him and wanted to make up for what happened in the past. So don't worry about it"

"But what if he didn't agree to return to the family? What should we do?" Patriarch Shen replied unsure if he should believe in his wife's words.

"He's our child, no matter what happened in the past I believe that he will listen to what we say. Also, I feel that that child should be lacking in some family love, if we show him that we want him, he will surely return without a doubt" Gu Qianyu then put both her arms around Patriarch Shen's neck and said lovingly, "Why don't we create another child. It's been a long time since we've done it"

Patriarch Shen's eyes burns into a flaming fury of d.e.s.i.r.e and l.u.s.t. As a man, how can he refuse such an offer from his beautiful wife. In this past years, he had been feeling the drought in his life. Now that the rain comes, he will welcome it with open arms.

In the plains just outside the capital of the empire, a beautiful lady was riding a white horse looking at her surroundings. The steady stream of the river nearby was like a gentle music to her hears. Everytime she came here, she always fell into a deep thought.

"Hmm" from the distance, the lady hears the sounds of horses galloping towards her direction. When she turn around, she saw four horses running towards her. Four people were riding each horses and all of them were wearing the same style of white robes.

This four people are not ordinary people, they are all cultivators from the White Moon Sect. A high level sect that is just slightly inferior to the Azure Dragon Sect.

"Junior sister, master had told us to get you and escort you back to the sect. The sect master of our sect and the Azure Dragon Sect had already talked regarding to your marriage. With this, our two sect will now officially formed an alliance" a young man riding a horse said with a smile on his face.

When the woman hears the young man's words, she knew that there is very little she could do. This marriage is proposed by the people of the Azure Dragon Sect, and she couldn't do anything about it. Even her master in the sect had approved of this decision which makes her really heartbroken. She never thought that the master she thought that would care about her would agree just in exchange for some reputation.

The beautiful lady in question is none other than the eldest princess of the Sacred Sun Empire, Huang Lihua. She had been a disciple of the White Moon Sect since she was eight years old. And with their help, she had reached her current realm today which is higher than anybody in the empire. But even with her current realm, she still couldn't decide for her own future as she was chained by her responsibilities not only to her empire, but also to her sect.

"Before I return to the sect, can we go visit the Spring Breeze City. There is something I needed to do there" Huang Lihua said with her clear and melancholic voice.

When they heard that she wanted to go to Spring Breeze City, the four seems surprised about it as they didn't know why she wanted to go there. But since there is still so much time left in their journey, visiting a city wouldn't be a problem.

"Alright, we will go to Spring Breeze City first before we depart to the sect. We also need to get and prepare some of our supplies in returning to the sect" the young man who leads the group said.

"Many thanks senior brother" after replying respectfully, Huang Lihua motioned her horse to move.
