Supreme System Devourer

The wolf slowly stalked the dark confines of the forest... it laid in wait, patiently waiting for it's prey.

A pure white bunny hopped into the clearing. Looking around innocently, it blinked it's beautiful blue eyes. The wolf growled.

The wolf's face turned black at the mention of that stupid move by that stupid bunny. It had been tracking the bunny for days and yet the asinine hare eluded him at every turn.

Growling with impatience, it stamped it's feet.

[Patience...patience...]

The voice sounded within the wolf's mind.

[The time for our revenge has not yet come. We must wait and we must level up...slowly but surely we shall dominate this world soon enough...]

The wolf growled again. Incapable of complex speech and thought, it's hunger gnawed at it's stomach. Crouching forth, it leaped out into the clearing. It's claws extended and blood sprayed high in the air.

The wolf eagerly devoured the bunny. It's beautiful white corpse adorned the ground, creating a bloody masterpiece of nature.

Devouring the pesky bunny, the wolf felt a p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e greater than anything it had ever experienced.

[Ahh yes....your power is rising....we are almost at that point where you can level up...eventually you shall get your revenge....]

The sinister voice continually sounded in the wolf's mind. Puzzled, it looked towards the sky with a tilted head. It didn't understand these grand words that were being spoken.

[FOOL... if only that idiotic human hadn't rejected me... but I, the dark jewel of Agnon am still powerful... albeit I am slightly weakened, but that human is still unable to match my ferocity!]

The voice cried out against the heavens, with a righteous anger.

The wolf loped through the forest, continuing it's hunt. Power began to acc.u.mulate in it's core until it grew to the point that the wolf could not hold it in anymore.

"AOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" it cried.

There was an explosion of power and then a series of notifications rang out in it's head.

[Leveled up!]

Yipping in happiness, the wolf bounded about the forest, the system lamenting at it's terrible luck.

"FANG ZHEN! I WILL SURELY GET YOU FOR THIS! YOU WILL REGRET THE DAY YOU REJECTED ME AND LEFT ME TO THOSE WOLVES!" it cried.

The wolf stopped.

"Hmmm?" it questioned.

[AHHH!...oh...you've developed the ability to communicate slightly....interesting....well that shall definitely make things easier...]

The system grinned at this development. Leveling up would be much quicker now that the wolf would understand his directions. His time was near. Eventually that human would regret leaving him in the wilderness. Stupid human...how dare he...

And so the system and the wolf continued their path of carnage and leveling up, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. They remained oblivious of the developments in the town as Fang Zhen put his sinister plans into motion...
