But three days later something happened that made Jenny voluntarily come out to the main office. ''Are they crazy? What are they trying to do?''

Loud sounds could be heard outside and everyone stared at the big flowers that appeared on the outer layer of the shield. Soon the vibration and sound were cut off and everyone calmed down as they heard Mike's voice. ''Don't worry people. This shield is indestructible. So calm down and let's continue building the protection wall. Group one, go one with sowing the seeds for section C. Nothing is happening. Group five you are now finished with your shift. Go home now.''

Just when he finished a pale looking Jenny with dark circles rushed inside the office and yelled. ''What the hell are they doing???''

Mike and Mina were stunned by her attire. Plushy pajamas and housecoat and plushy shoes. But her hair looked like a nest as she as it seems slept at the moment this started happening.

''I just finally fella sleep after such a long time and what? People bothering me... Mike, I need to find out what is actually happening?'' She rubbed slippily her red eyes and slumped at the nearby chair.

Mina came to her and saw her looking at the window withs crunched eyebrows. ''You said we shouldn't wake you up if its not life or death. But considering that we have a shield, I thought it was fine...''

Jenny rubbed her temples as she could feel her head pounding again. She was having these headaches quite often lately. Is something happening again? ''What happened in such a short time?''

Mina sighed and sat at the nearby chair as well. ''We told you we tried contacting as many people as possible. But as it seems our past... the government survived somehow and is trying out the shield.''

Jenny narrowed her eyes. ''Why?''

Mina glanced at Mike and rose her hands. ''I can't tell her. These news, you better tell her.''

The people in the office became silent and looked at Mike that slowly approached her. ''Ugh, it seems I made one tiiiny mistake that turned big problem.''

Jenny opened her eyes just by a small slit and sighed. ''Let me guess. You told them our exact location and they got greedy to come here. So they are hitting our shield to see if it's possible for some strange force to penetrate?'' Looking at his expression changing she it the nail on the head. ''Really, really? Mike... sigh. Call them and let me talk to them.''

Mke became silent and just looked at his hands while trying not to look at her face. ''Actually, I invited them all to come here. They have only about ten thousand people with them. If they could safely come here I was willing to...'' But he suddenly felt coldness enveloping him.

Jenny opened her eyes and slowly stood up. ''You were willing to do .. what? Speak further...''

He stood up and pointed at the city. ''I am not good enough to do this. So I wanted to give the leading role to those that can lead.''

Hearing his words Jenny froze as she realized how dark his eyes were and how tiered everyone in the office were. She sighed. ''Do what you think is right. I don't care.'' She turned around and just left, not even greeting Mina.

Mina bumped into Mike and pointed her finger at his face. ''If she really leaves the city, me and my family are going with her. We will definitely not let her be alone.''

But just when she was about to leave Mike stopped her. ''What did you just say? I did this so we can finally be together. Not worry about everything and have some time on our own.''

Mina scoffed. ''For us? Do you know why the president has so many people working under him...including vice president? because he can then have finally his sleep or walk or vacation. You don't trust anyone enough to share your burden so you are always jumping around. But to people that willingly gave up most of the humans and just hid alone, you trust? Jenny made this place perfect for the reason she wanted to help people. But now some lazy politicians will come and order us around while we have an almost perfect society? What is the point staying here if I can end up dead because some politicians might like my apartment and want me and my family out? What about Jenny's place?''

Mike stilled and then sat down. ''I didn't think that much at the moment. I am just too tired.''

Mina walked towards the phone and rose it up. ''Call them and tell them you gave up on that idea because of the attack. No even better, connect them to Jenny. It should be her choice, not yours.''

Jenny was already inside the apartment when the phone rang. She could see Mike's number. ''What?''

''We will connect you with them. I chose to add Jack as my vice so I can sleep sometimes. I just need rest and sleep. Sharing responsibilities... you are right. I told them someone important wants to talk to them. By the way, I denied them entry because of their attacks. I had no other reason to pull out my sleeve. Sorry, Jenny about before.'' He spoke so fast that he started gasping for air on end.

For a moment she stilled but then spoke. ''I understand. Jack is not a bad option. Tell him what happened right now while I talk to those morons.''

From the other side, a male voice could be heard. ''Mike told us that you are important there. How important.''

Jenny was silent and then answered. ''I am head and tail. Without my permission nothing can be done here.''

''I am president...'' He started but Jenny cut him down.

''...of nonexistent country. Our country doesn't exist, the borders will change soon and many new countries will rise. If humanity survives.'' Jenny was clear about the current situation.

''Our country...'' He started again but Jenny chuckled.

''Our? I just build my own country. That over there is your country and your plans just attacked my place with the intention of harming my own people. Tell me something, are you ok in your head?'' She was furious as she was deprived of sleep and just realized that her time of the month was happening right now.

''You can't own something it doesn't belong to you. My ancestors...'' But was cut by a long and sarcastic laugh.

''Are your ancestors form First nations?'' She was curious. Is there at least one president that has few drops of the original owner of this land?

''Of course not.'' He confidently spoke and was about to further explain. But of course, Jenny didn't let him.

''Your people came, enslaved all kinds of people and gathered them here while killing original owners. You think I will give you a piece of cake as you already did that. Now let me tell you something. This shield here is a natural phenomenon. But not everyone can come in. People with a heart full of hatred or those that are trying to harm humans that survived. So even if you successfully come, you won't be able to do pass the shield. Of course, you can come. But if you are attacked by one of flying evolve d creatures, and not die if you stay outside shield as nothing wicked can pass it.'' Jenny calmly spoke while preparing hot cocoa to drink.

Hot cocoa calmed her tensed nerves and was about to drink but almost burned herself while she started laughing t his next sentence.
