System's Existence

The priest was dazed when he saw that Sirius has only two even after the fact that he caused the magic to malfunction and after that produced a brighter light than the others. He was thinking that there should be some problem connected to the first malfunction.

Even after concluding that the problem should be connected to the first malfunction, the priest can't prove it. He himself was not sure if the problem really came from the first malfunction and just decided to shelve it for himself. After coming for the decision the priest put his normally smiling face and face the group of commoners and young masters and young miss.

"Congratulations to some of you, even though some of you don't have a talent in magic, there are still other paths for some of you tread without using magic." The priest consoled the people that don't have talent in magic. Being consoled by the priest himself made them better, after thinking a little bit they realized that what the priest said are true.

Instead of being sad they feel motivate instead, they thought for themselves that they will sure to find out what other things they can do to help the kingdom. They all know that around the human kingdom are not safe anymore. Outside the Saint kingdom was a forest called Salgab Forest, a forest that was filled by savage beasts, each and any beast post a level of harm for them.

After the priest finished giving his speech, the young children who attend the ceremony and started to go with their family. When the young masters and the young miss arrived at their families waiting area, they told them what happened inside the church. They also tell to their family the strange occurrence cause by Sirius.

When the dukes heard what happened inside all of them were shocked, they were unable to believe that the Sheperd House produce an offspring that can cause the magic ball, a relic to malfunction and only gave 2 results. The Lyserus family looks like they went mad after hearing what they heard because Lyserus always compared themselves to Sheperd family. They want that only Lyserus was on top in terms of magic.

After Sirius tell them what happened inside the church, of course, every detail of what happened has told to his family. They were shocked that Sirius had done, even though he didn't do it intentionally it was still surprising.

"Wow, I didn't think that my son is also cool as his father!" Emily said with a proud smile on her face. Being Sirius mother was a blessing for her, she thought.

"Of course that he is a must! He is my son so he should be also cool like me! Hahaha!" Steven laughs loudly.

His laugh attracted too much attention and almost all the people in the vicinity was looking in their way. Of course, the dukes also look at their way, the WinderForg, Roker, Servap, and Lyserus all go together to have a little talk with them.

"Congratulations on having a good son Duke Steven." Said by a middle age man in WinderForg family.

This middle age man was the Head Duke of the WinderForg family, his name is Rudolf WinderForg. Rudolf was the known strongest swordsman in the kingdom and no one can beat him in terms of swordsmanship even the head of the Roker family can't come close to him. Rudolf was also called as Sword Saint because of his skills.

Rudolf and Steven was quite close to each other, in fact when they are young Rudolf and Steven are both best friends. Being a magician Steven need someone to trust his front while readying his spell, and for Rudolf being a swordsman he needs someone to support him if he left any openings to his defense. They thought each other as rivals and get along because of that. Even in love related things they are rival in fact, Rudolf also likes Emily but Emily still chose Steven.

Because of that a rift form between the two, they don't talk to each other like in the past, but they still call themselves as a friends.

"Thank you, Duke Rudolf, congratulations too for your son who has a wind element despite being swordsman," Steven replied.

In the middle of their conversation, the Roker family also join their talk and congratulated Steven. Steven was so proud of his son that even the other dukes are paid attention to him. Suddenly the Lyserus family interrupted their talk.

"Don't think that because your son has two element he is already the best, my daughter also has two elements and we still don't know who is the best," Said by a rather handsome middle age, man.

This handsome middle age man was the head of the Lyserus family, his name is Logan Lyserus. He is the second best magician in the kingdom aside from Steven, the same as Steven he also has two elements but the way he controls his magic is not proficient as Steven.

"Of course I know that there is always sky above and will not underestimate any person I meet. So you don't need to remind it again to me Duke Logan." Steven just brushed off what Logan said.

This infatuated Logan, he just gritted his teeth and leave without saying anything. But his daughter Evangeline glace at Sirius way without saying anything, but her eyes were full of determination as if saying "i will beat you no matter what!". Of course, Sirius knew the meaning of her glance and just smiled back at her, his meaning was clear Sirius is saying "come at me".

Evangeline was dazed when she saw Sirius just smiled at her, her cheek was blushing and leave in a hurry. Rudolf and his father saw what just happen and just smiled.

"Not bad!" Rudolf said with a grin on his face.

"Indeed not bad didn't expect that you are trying to catch that little lass," Steven added.

They thought that Sirius started liking a talented and beautiful young girl like the daughter of Lyserus family. There faces tell that they can't wait to see Logan's expression when her daughter was in the arm of Sirius. Of course, Sirius knew what they want to say just by looking at their faces.

Suddenly Sirius remember something and ask a favor for his father.

"Dad, can you ask Uncle Rudolf if he can teach me swordsmanship?" Sirius ask.

Steven was shocked when he heard his son wanting to learn swordsmanship instead of learning magic, so he asked.

"Why do you want to learn swordsmanship even though you have a talent in magic?"

"Dad, like I said before I just want to have my body in shape and besides..." Sirius answer honestly.

"Besides what?" Steven asked again.

"If there is a chance that I will force to take a melee combat at least I can protect my self and what if all of my guards who battled die? Who will fight next?"Sirius said with a serious face.

Steven was surprised that his son has deep thoughts already, Sirius of course, know his course of training. He was going to practice swordsmanship to increase his mana capacity and to keep his body in shape. And this is the most optimum way for Sirius to get strong to travel around the 7 continents.
